I am amazed by their service!! We had a couple things that we found with our camper that we have had for three years. They are soo booked out for service but let us drop it off, took a look and fixed the issues in no time and we're incredibly pleasant and customer service is above board! 10/10 would recommend! read more

It was Friday afternoon of the July 4th holiday weekend and we had a mishap while dumping the grey water tank. The valve handle came off leaving the valve in the open position just as we headed to camp for 4 days. The man at the counter saved the day for us by showing us that we could simply screw the handle back into place. We had no idea this was possible! Thank you for saving the day! You rock! read more

Started working with this group in January. Spoke directly to Finance Manager Rich Smith- and had a deal on the RV. He then got sick and left me hanging. I sent 6 emails and called several times to purchase this RV- and never got a call - but apparently after nearly 2 months they sent 1 email asking for confirmation. I never saw the email, but I called one week later to request assistance to finish this purchase. Got the run around by Rich again.. and now the Sales Manager - Chase - got involved. Nothing but liars .. and I highly recommend not purchasing any RV from this group. I have doc umentaton to support all these claims.. read more

D & D RV Center - RV Dealers Near Me - Helena, Montana

I wanted a simple part and was on the phone with their parts person and sent him a picture of what I wanted. He looked at the picture while I was on the phone and told me, "yeah I've got that." He totally lied. I drove 55 miles one way Only to fall victim of bait and switch. He did not have the part I wanted but one that he claimed was better however was also three times the price of the other one. Totally wasted my morning. I asked to talk with the owner but was told he was in a meeting. you would think that you send somebody a photo of what you want there can be no margin for error. But I guess there is for people who want nothing more than to make more money off of you. I host at an RV park and will never recommend this place for anything, and I personally will never do business with them again. read more

Bought a new AC unit from D & D and had them install it, when I got home and went up on the roof to inspect their work I found a filthy mess on the roof ( Black foot prints everywhere and many scrapes and gouges in the rubber roof). I decided to clean up the mess and as I was on my hands and knees cleaning I found that they didn't even clean the roof that was covered by the old AC unit, also found a soft spot in the roof under the left front of the AC that wasn't there before. I had just cleaned and treated the roof about 1 month earlier and the soft spot wasn't there then. Now a couple of months later we had our first rain storm about 1/2 inch in a couple of hours and we have a roof leak. Hopefully I can get it temporarily sealed to get me to our new roof date that is required to fix the problems created by D & D. A $2500 AC is turning out to be another $7000. to fix their poor work. I wouldn't recommend D & D for any work as they didn't even care about the issue when I took my 5th wheel back to them the day after the work was done, the owner basically called me a liar and that they could have never caused the damage. Customers beware!!!! read more

I should have written this a while ago. D & D RV were so helpful in getting my trailer quoted out for my insurance. After months of dealing with other RV centers I was basically overjoyed with tears at the timeliness of D & D RV. Chad was prompt in communication. I am so thankful for his customer service skills and D & D RV. read more

Yeah. Don't take your camper here for repairs at least. Booked an appointment in March. They said bring it in the beginning of June. They've had it a month and it's still not fixed. Each time I call the story is different. The service manager was less than helpful. I finally just went and got it and will have it fixed somewhere else. The odd thing...I had 2 people tell me not to take it there because of problems like this....:( read more

my fifth wheel fridge was problematic from when we first bought the trailer from d&d in april of 2020. The general manager got the trailer in a total of 5 times because they could not diagnose the fault in the unit. I told them to pull it down the road and back one mile and it would fault. 3 out of 5 times they ran out of propane trying to get the fridge to screw up and called and said we can't find anything wrong come get your trailer. I would pick it up and pack food in it and 24 hours latter the fridge was room temperature. my wife made the suggestion that we would buy the fridge if they would install it even though it was under warranty. Mark the general asshole in charge could not set aside his pride to have this done so he produced another problem. We filmed the issues and I finally bought a new fridge and installed it my self even though the trailer was still under warranty. I am a journeyman diesel mechanic who has a 609a license and diagnosed the fault and filmed it all start to finish to prove to norcold what and where the fault lied. Upon doing so mark the manager had his shop guy call and offer me 500$ for the old fridge I laughed and said he was 3500$ short of touching it. his techs are good men and tried to please us but they do not run the place. My friends, family and anyone else will never buy nothing from mark. I hope this helps others read more

Had a problem with my stabilizing hitch while passing through Helena. Stopped in and although they couldn't do the service work due to a heavy workload. Danny did a great job helping me with my problem and providing me with the parts so that I could make the repairs myself. Great job. There was another gentleman there that helped too. Can't remember how name. Both gave Great service. I highly recommend this business. Great and friendly service. read more

Finally, months later, getting this review out of the way. A exterior door replacement that requires a few screws to take off, and replace it with a several screws to put back on, with power tools, costed me 2 hours of labor, plus the part? No seals are on these doors. Seals are already on them...They come with it. Does D&D charge "labor" for being on hold while ordering a part? Do they add another hour at one minute passed the 1 hour mark? Do they charge when the mechanic goes to lunch in the middle of a job? Whatever the case, This is utterly unsatisfactory. I can see purchasing the ordered expensive item, since most parts really are over priced as it is, and we all reluctantly pay that price, but I never accept being gouged by a lie in labor when it never took that amount of time D&D charged me, or never should have taken that amount of time. Is this unethical? D&D was also instructed to leave me the older part (door, screen, and frame if it was removed) inside my rig, and it was not in my rig when I got it home. I could have taken parts from it for myself since, after all, it was mine and paid for already. I know these guys can do so much better, but I am seriously not happy to have guys there who abuse the owners good name by giving crappy service like this. Its been long enough to not ask for anything back, but those other items I would have to buy for hundreds of dollars should my new one get broken or whatever. Hey owner. No need to respond. We understand you need to make money, but, as Trump said..."Make a profit, but don't make a killing"...on the backs of others. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! My husband and I purchased a used camper from this company and had nothing but problems and a bunch of BS excuses from them. We bought our camper on June 29th and paid cash. We told the salesman Chace that we already had a camper, but the shower was pulled out of it and we were planning a move to Alaska and needed to have it working for our trip. We found the one we wanted and it would be ready for pick up on July 3rd. When we came to pick it up, we were told the pilot light control box wasn't working, but they had a replacement on the truck today. It would take a half hour to install and we'd be on our way. The truck was late they couldn't get it to work. Then they sent us to buy a part for the trailer hitch and when we got back, Chace said it's working. This was at 6 pm and I'm sure everyone wanted to get on with their holiday. We tried to fire up the pilot light and it wouldn't work. Called Chace on July 8th and he wanted us to come in that Friday. We reminded him we are now living in this camper and he had us bring it in. They blew out the pilot orifice, declared it fixed and sent us on our way. It worked for about 12 days and quit AGAIN! We brought it back again. This was no cheap thing. We are living in the woods right now about 20 miles from Helena and it's expensive in gas to keep dragging it back to their business. This time they were less than friendly and the manager, Mark, even told my husband that, "You bought a used camper, I can just tell you to pound sand, rather than fix this." This was the STORE MANAGER!! For now the pilot light is working, but if it quits again I will call a local repair guy rather than EVER set foot inside this business again. Go somewhere else for your RV needs. This outfit is the most unprofessional place I have ever had the misfortune to make purchase from. read more

In my opinion, the only place in Helena worth taking an RV for Service. After the previous owners had the generator and jacks checked out at another location before I purchased it (the generator had a leak when I got it and the jacks did not function properly). Then they had a "full system check" done at yet another location the day I purchased it. The guy at that location couldn't tell me anything about the RV and even insisted that you could not turn on the generator from inside the RV (the switch is on the dash). At D & D RV Center, they knew all about the make and model of my RV. They were able to do a true full system check and tell me what problems needed to be addressed immediately. Our Service Tech, Rob, was absolutely amazing. I wouldn't take it to anyone else in Helena, he has absolutely earned my trust. They also have a pretty well-stocked parts department. All of the people working there seem pretty knowledgeable and have absolutely NO problem talking to you and answering questions. I felt welcomed and my RV got the service it really needed. It did take most of the day considering I had to have them replace our hot water tank after the previous owners chose not to winterize the RV and it burst. Evidently that hot water tank was pretty bad and the point of of burst made it so difficult to get it out of the RV. Rob said it was "pretty messy". Funny thing, when I got my RV back, there wasn't a mess to be seen anywhere. He had cleaned up everything back to the way it was before. If you need your RV serviced, go to D & D RV and ask for Rob. Seriously. read more

Go there for your repairs, no matter how minor! These guys, Chris especially, treated me so kindly and got my work done so quickly. I was very pleased with the whole experience. I was travelling thru in my travel trailer and I needed to remove my old man cat from the rig. The staff there let me bring him into the store on his leash and we got to exploring the store. Then, boom - time to pay and go. Wish there was a D&D near Mesa, AZ! read more

If you decide to by from D&D RV center do not work with Todd Gilbreath, I was trying to get information on a trailer for 2 weeks and barely gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision and was wanting this trailer and it gets sold after too much time in-between. That is ridiculous. Not helpful at all. So infuriating. read more

I have never purchased anything at D&D but have done some window shopping. As we were finished packing our TT for a 4th of July I tried to raise the tongue with my dependable electric tongue jack and nothing, nada, zip. Great now what? Well I did get the opportunity to learn how to raise the tongue manually and when I called D&D they said sure bring it in. They dropped what they were doing. Mike came out the the parking lot, removed the old corroded switch and installed a new one in 15 mins. Total bill, barely $25! Great local business! read more

This review is regarding a rental unit. We came in from out of town and rented an RV over the 4th of July weekend. We found the unit and the service from D & D to be fantastic. D&D dropped off and set up the unit right where we asked them to; and hauled it away when we were done. Everything went exactly as planned. We just showed up and enjoyed our stay. I would recommend D & D to others and I would definitely use them again. read more

Warranty Service, Took two weeks to get an appointment to get Motorhome Warranty service done, that part was OK...But...was told the work should take about an hour.... Called 4 different time to find out the status. After 2 weeks I gave up and got my Motorhome back. Absolutely NOTHING had been done. They said they had talked with the warranty provider but my unit was never even pulled into there yard. No one would call me back or tell me if I need to get involved. Zero communication. Said I would never set foot in there place again...they could have cared less. In 2 years we will be buying a 40 foot toy hauler and I guarantee IT WON"T BE FROM D&D RV!!!! Buy or get your unit serviced at your own risk! Terrible! read more

Not impressed! Go to Metra RV!,,, D&D gave us a price on a new arctic fox and raised it considerably after we made a simple couch change, offering no guidance. I don't think they understood the order form. We ended purchasing from Metra RV in Billings, getting what we wanted and saving $$$$. Doug & Debby run a real respectable Business and know the units they sell. read more

Great service at D and D. Especially Chad. Went way above and beyond to meet our needs. I highly recommend asking for Chad, but everyone is very nice and accommodating. read more

We have dealt with this dealership for over 12 years. We have purchased 12 units from them, now discussing another one. We have never in all those years had any instance that would justify even a minor complaint. We have had issues with several units (nothing is perfect) and they have proven themselves to be professional and ethical in all our dealings. We recommend them highly and often do recommend them to friends. Exceptional people!! read more

D & D RV CENTER IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! No question about it ! They bend over backwards for you, have no doubt about the integrity or honesty of this company! We have bought and sold RV's there and have been more than impressed with the business practices. we will definitely continue to do business with only them. read more

I would recommend D & D RV Center without hesitation. I recently made a purchase from them. I had a serious problem with my purchase. I explained it to them completely and they did not hesitate to make it right. Mark Rispens, the general manager, could not be more reliable. read more

A dealer to avoid. They are dishonest about service. I have a minor warranty issue that the product company (Dometic) has confirmed in writing they will honor the warranty for--all labor, parts, and shipping charges--but D&D's service manager claims I have to pay for diagnosing the problem (which is obviously part of the labor charge--plus the problem has already been properly diagnosed by another dealer and the product has already even been ordered). That is beyond ridiculous--it is purely a money grab by an RV dealer who has probably gotten away with cheating people on warranty issues in the past, but I know what my warranty states and even confirmed this in writing directly from Dometic. The service manager refuses to budge, saying he's "doing me a favor" by even agreeing to doing the warranty repair (costing me money however) as I didn't buy the RV from them. True about purchase--I bought from an RV dealer 10 hours away because no one closer sells the brand/model I wanted, but now D&D is my closest RV dealer that's an authorized Dometic warranty dealer. Authorized warranty dealers are supposed to service any RV with the products covered by the warranty, so D&D would NOT be doing me a favor--they would merely be honoring their commitment to Dometic that they will service Dometic products under warranty. But they will not. Avoid D&D as they are unethical and dishonest, out to steal money from potential customers. read more

So disappointed in the service. Not only did it take over 2 weeks in the shop after ordering the wrong part but when we picked up our trailer it was not the professional work we expected AND they lost our trailer keys. Trailer was left unlocked so we could get in it but they have no idea what they did with the keys we left them. Will never take a trailer back to them again. I will go out of town from now on. read more
