I've lived in my home for more than 35 years and have had my oak tree trimmed by many different…read morecompanies. I was super excited to finally get to use The Tree Lady Company because I had heard so many good things. I had other quotes that were significantly lower but I decided to use The Tree Lady Company. To say that I am disappointed is a huge understatement. While the crew was wonderful and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves, a sentimental piece of yard art that a good friend of mine had made for me was broken. But that's not what I'm giving the 1 star for. I specifically asked for all the dead twigs to be removed because they are constantly falling out of the tree. I did not realize in the quote that they will only do 2 inches diameter or more so I misunderstood the job and I would have NEVER hired them if they were not going to do what I asked for. When I reviewed the tree with the owner, I specifically asked that all the loose branches/twigs be taken down so I assumed that's what would happen. Unfortunately I am left with all these dead twigs still in my tree. The response from the lady in the office was that it would be another $800 on top of what I already paid which was already much higher than my other quotes. So so so disappointed. The Tree Lady then responded to my review on Google shifting the responsibility to me as the customer. Their response is too long to post here but this is mine: Response: no way shape or form did they move anything. I asked them if they would move it if they thought it would get damaged nothing was moved and yet my piece of yard work which was by the driveway was broken. As for the raccoons... It took very little time to get the raccoons out of the tree, maybe 10 or 15 minutes so that is fairly insignificant to the amount of time that was spent on my property. MORE time was spent cutting the neighbor's tree because of the severe damage done by the lift when your crew could not navigate around the branch that eventually had to be cut because of that damage. I8 made it ABUNDANTLY clear that I wanted the deadwood cleared out and it made no sense to leave it there since your crew was in that part of the tree which is lower to the ground and easily accessible. We are not talking about trimming small branches, we are talking about removing DEAD wood. Why would any reputable company that cares about their customer satisfaction leave dead wood behind? This is sheer laziness and bad customer service. I do not accept your response and will continue to be disappointed while you attempt to put the burden on me. It might have taken an additional 10-15 minutes to clear out the deadwood. I do not have the means to reach it myself or I would have and that was why I hired you. Poor choice on my behalf.

The came out and went over the trees we wanted to take down or trim and gave us an estimate. We decided on getting our old large oaks trimmed (to save us money) along with removing a couple of other trees. When they left, all the debris was picked up and the yard area looked amazing. We highly recommend this company because of their professionalism, outstanding customer service, and competitive pricing.

Josh came quickly to see what my needs were and the next day he was here doing the mowing. Mike knew what plants I desired and even called me from the nursery to confirm. He delivered everything that afternoon and started the work. However, this being Florida, we had a heavy rain that did not permit them to finish that day. He was back the next morning and he and his helper had everything done by noon. I gave him free range to set the lawn ornaments since he was vey creative. I was asked to check everything for approval. I was quite happy with what I saw. And they cleaned up before they left. The folks at JNL were polite and considerate, including Jennifer who took my many calls. The work was very professional, it was done quickly and neatly, and did all that I asked of them. Price was reasonable as well. I would highly recommend JNL to anyone. They do many things so if you check their website you might find something you need to be done.

I hired Evolve in the Spring of 2021 for my lawn maintenance. Sometime between October 1st and…read moreNovember 11th, an employee mowing hit a drainage pipe on my back lot causing damage. As result of the damage, I now have a constant flow of water coming from the broken pipe. It was determined by Polk County officials it was a drainage pipe and not a sewer pipe as Evolve claimed. Evolve initially denied all responsibility for the damage alleging the real damage was caused by tree roots breaking the pipe. I hired an independent plumber to assess the damage. He determined the broken pipe had been hit by a lawn mower by examining the pieces of pipe which had been left on the ground. Polk County officials also came to the same conclusion. Evolve said the only way they would repair the damage was if I agreed to pay for the repairs. Repairs began December 13th and ended December 14th with Evolve installing a 3 FOOT ABOVE GROUND TEAL COLORED 6 INCH PIPE WITH A WHITE CAP. I advised the above ground pipe was a complete eyesore in my nicely wooded backyard as the original pipe was buried underground. I was furious with the results, and advised if they wanted payment they would have to fix it to my satisfaction. I was told the only way it would be repaired underground was to bring in heavy equipment to dig which they said couldn't be done. After several heated telephone conversations with the impertinent office manager Jillian Bustos, I received an email on December 15th from Jillian advising Evolve was voiding their invoice of $345, and "as result will discontinue doing business with you effective immediately". Adding insult to injury, she suggested I cover the pipe with a trellis, plant material, shell cover or spray paint the pipe to blend in with its surroundings. The saga continues as today I received a telephone call from an attorney Evolve retained to collect what I allegedly still owed them for the repair work they botched. As soon as I informed their attorney I had an email from Evolve stating they had voided their invoice, he advised he would be closing his file on this matter. Then he rudely hung up on me without saying thank you or goodbye. Evolve and their attorney have a lot to learn about being polite and good manners. Nice try Evolve, but you will never see another shiny penny from me ever. You are extremely unprofessional walking away from the mess you made, refusing to make it right and then trying to intimidate me with your attorney. You need to hire a new office manager as the one you have is going to kill your business with her mouth and attitude.
