Rude staff and terrible customer experience, avoid! When we arrived to have lunch the whole place was empty (which should have been a red flag). Face masks are required inside, which is fair enough. Despite this being a summit of a popular climb, there is no bike stand. We went into the garden but were not allowed to leave our bikes inside in the empty corner of the garden to have them in sight. When asked why, the waitress replied that "what if another 20 people come". As there was literally nobody else, we asked if we could still leave the expensive bikes inside and that we are more than happy to move the bikes outside when/if another 20 people arrive. The waitress' answer was simply NO. When asked whether she thinks this is a good customer approach, she said that yes, it is. When noted that if this is such a huge problem, we can as well go somewhere else, the waitress responded that (quote): "yes, you should better stay in your home country". After this insult we left the place. And yes, there was a swear word instead of a good-bye. No wonder nobody was there, staff that hates customers should not work in a restaurant. I recommend you visit the Can Topa that is located literally 100m away from this place instead. The staff is so kind, nothing is a problem and they serve a fantastic lemon spongecake and apple pie that is a well deserved reward after you finish the climb! Only the fact that Can Topa was closed made us try Dalt Des Coll but certainly won't make the same mistake ever again. I can already foresee what the answer to this review would be, probably some twisted facts, making it all about facemasks or something else, nevertheless, you have been warned, stay away. read more
