From the intentional decorum, warm ambiance and perfectly prepared and presented dishes, it's easy to see the passion and skill the chef has in the kitchen. If you're looking for something fresh, seasonal and a creative take on traditional French cuisine -- this is your place. It was the highlight of our trip. We would've gone back the next day, but they're closed on Sundays. We had lunch there, so we can't speak for the dinner prices, but the lunch prices were excellent, especially for France.

The oeufs de Meurette appetizer was really good, a unique Burgundian specialty consisting of poached eggs in a cream sauce and a red wine reduction sauce. Entrees were lacking with the steak almost too tough to eat and the "Gougère farcie façon Pôchouse" was just steamed salmon on a bun in a pool of sauce. The apple currant crumble, however, was also quite tasty. Overall, acceptable but not great.

Having spent two years in different parts of China, I think there are elements of traditional taste present in their food. Our meal was delicious and the wine selection was lovely. We were totally expecting Chinese food catering to non-Chinese (aka fake Chinese food), but was totally surprised. The menu is small, and with a big party, we pretty much ordered everything on the menu. To our surprise, the food was actually very good. Not totally traditional Chinese, you can tell there is a slight hint of western infusion, which I actually prefer and would say it's an improvement over traditional Chinese. I highly recommend the Eggplant hot pot and King Prawn. Complements to the chef!
