I parked down by the water where you will find 2-3 public parking spots, and walked. The place: They're located in an old house. The place is super quaint on the outside and contemporary on the inside. Minimalist, clean. The goods: I purchased a few truffles as well as a bar and some 'fish'. The truffles are sinfully delicious and offered in a variety of flavours, and you can select milk or dark varieties, depending on your preference. We also got soft serve cones dipped in dark chocolate. Holy crap. The ice cream was great but the chocolate dip was to die for. It was quite thick (I prefer a little thinner but I won't complain about too much chocolatey goodness). I got a small cone but it was still quite generous so I think their regular size must be quite big! Service: Good Price point: On par with other chocolatiers. If you're in the area, this place is worth a stop!

I have to give HIGH honors to their maple soft serve and their milk chocolate AND salted caramel chocolate coatings. Also here's a tip to get more chocolate: ask for your soft serve in a bowl, but ask for the size ice cream you want in a cup one size UP. This allows the soft serve to be fully coated with chocolate. If you don't want to ask for a cup, you can also ask for your cone double dipped.

She did relate better to the much younger couple who spoke English near us. We both ordered an IPA and began to decipher the French menu. Note that the food here is pub food, not a full lunch. My wife ordered the smoked mussels and French bread, and I ordered the smoked herring and French bread. Both came fairly rapidly. The French bread was warm and the mussels and herring were served in a Quebec style marinade infused with spices. We both thought they were excellent. The bread was also excellent. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
