I love this branch. They are always willing to help and have a knowledgeable staff. They are fast and you rarely have to wait

If you're looking for the most incompetent, money hungry group of individuals, look no further!…read more I called the riverton branch to get my safety deposit box set up on an automatic payment plan. I was routed to the customer service facility and spoke with an agent who ALSO called the Riverton branch. He spoke with someone who advised him he would not be taking my call and I needed to set that up online through the app. The customer service representative asked if I'd like to be transferred to the app support team (don't remember their official name because I never did get to speak with them) As I was at work, I had to call back and spoke with a different agent who gave me frustratingly different information. After a 10 minute hold, she came back on the line not with the app support team. But the good news that she too had contacted the Riverton branch who would not take my call. At this point I asked to speak with her manager, as she advised me she was trying to contact an entirely different team after I had advised her of the situation. Another 10 to 15 minute hold. Finally she comes back on and says it will just be "one more moment" to which I respond, Can you please just get me over the app support? She replied that unfortunately they could not assist me and I would have to go into the branch. (On the last workday before thanksgiving). At this point, I was very upset and asked again that she get her manager on the line. I spoke with Dani, who advised me because I didn't have a Zions bank account, I could not set up autopay. If I wanted to set up an account, I would need to go into the branch. And boy I did! I was treated by a teller and I informed him I would be canceling my lockbox, but didn't have the keys. He informed me Ryan (corner desk balding man, in today a pink shirt) would need to help me. I sat and waited patiently while he helped an older couple. Finally he greeted me and advised me that he actually DOESNT schedule the lock drilling. Miss office behind me does. But don't worry, just another 10 minutes. Keep in mind I had to take a lunch to attend to this matter, and was already running behind. Finally Karen Slagoski? (Sorry Karen!) came out with a client and, although knew I had been waiting sometime, lazily stroked the clients assistance dog while ignoring me. And also the client point me out. Finally I am graced with the opportunity to enter her office and cancel my lockbox. It takes her a laughable amount of time to simply say, she would give me a call and what days work best. Sorry? I explained to her that this could have been taken care of about an hour ago if pink shirt (my suspect) hadn't refused my calls. She apologized profusely and said she couldn't think of who would commit such an act. Que eye roll. I thank her for her time and ask for a business card. This is the only souvenir I received out of this ordeal. Behold: Bonus: My father worked for Zions bank for 30 years. Before he had a chance to retire, the fired him. Or rather "let him go with severance" HARDLY the reward he earned after being loyal to their company. But nonetheless he left. A man in his 60's who now works at FedEx and has been hurt several times on the job. Zions bank you are heartless, spineless money hungry monsters. And the Riverton branch is the perfect example of incompetence. From the bottom all the way to the top.
