Bible preaching church, very diverse with all ages mostly families. I'm sure there's room for everyone to grow in their faith here! I hope this is a place for all who are looking for spiritual growth! Tap the seat and get connected! One feedback for this church is greeters were not friendly at all. In fact no one was even willing to have a conversation. Whether you were standing next to little shop area- no one said a simple hello. If Easter is one of the most attending church services, I would assume you want people to return. ;)

Part of exploring a new church is wanting to see how your children interact with other kids in their class. My husband and I were both excited to witness this after service when we were going to pick him up. Unfortunately they have a 1 parent only rule at pick up, so I sent my husband and was redirected to the "exit" to wait for them. I understand rules for "safety" but it would be more welcoming to have a one time exception for first time guest who have not experienced their children at your church. We (both parents) would like to witness for ourselves if our children feel safe and see that excitement on their face at pick up. Our friend spoke to the lady and she was not very welcoming at all and just kept saying it was their rule. Simply not what I would expect at a church to be honest. I need to be able to trust strangers with my child, and this experience felt very unwelcoming in my opinion.

The building's not big enough. In other words, this is an imperfect church with imperfect people. If you're imperfect as well, you might just fit right in. We're trying to learn to better follow Christ together, to study God's word, and make a difference in the lives of people in Cypress and beyond. However, I started seeing things from a different perspective. It seemed like the focus shifted more toward attendance numbers and program growth. The services themselves felt repetitive and centered heavily around volunteer recruitment and financial support for various programs, rather than deeper teaching from the Word of God. While the building is beautiful, I often left feeling like the message was more scripted than Spirit-led. I'm truly disappointed because I had high hopes when I first walked in.

Felt welcomed and comfortable from the get-go…read more Got involved with a Community Group (i.e. Bible Study group) immediately and have grown in the Word of God. The church-wide Bible Studies offered are great (Wednesday evenings) and the periodic Communion Celebrations are not to be missed (ReUnion) - held every 6-8 weeks on Wednesday evenings. They are a wonderful time of fellowship, community and reverent treatment of the Holy Sacrament. Good stuff! Pastor Mike is terrific! He and the Leadership team make sure everyone feels welcome and "at home" in our church. I am now a member (Baptized for the 1st time this past October!) and I am so happy to be part of this church family. Please come and visit us - soon!
