Acumen's bid was quite competitive and they were able to fit us into a busy summer schedule. Josh and his crew did everything according to our agreement and were responsive to changes as the project unfolded. Their work was meticulous, with great attention to detail and according to plan. The job site was cleaned every evening before they left and they did their best to cause as little disruption as possible to our daily routine. At the end of the project we had a quality deck that has greatly enhanced the value of our home. We would not hesitate to give Acumen our highest recommendation. They do what they say they will do, on time, and fulfill their promises to your expectations. It is rare to find a contractor that will do that but Acumen certainly does. For future projects, they will be our first and last call!

I have used Tony from AMC Custom Tile for three separate jobs now…read more He supplied and installed my kitchen counter tops during a recent kitchen remodel. Prices were more reasonable than other providers that I had priced. From estimate to finished product was very quick. Work was top notch. Have had one small problem, several months later, that was corrected the day after I reported it, at no charge. He also contracted two bathroom total remodels, taking care of every aspect of demolition, tile installation, vanity, fixtures, drywall, and plumbing. He will refer you to supply houses that are all in the Lenexa area to select your materials. He'll take it from there. As any remodel of an older house, we ran into several issues along the way. All were presented to me, with options to get around that hurdle. I have been more than happy with the way all work looks and functions. I got an expensive looking spa-like bathroom for a price you can deal with. All workers were careful to lay floor protection where they tracked and left your home as clean as possible each day upon leaving. Being respectful and keeping you informed along the way, helps ease your mind that the job is getting done right. They had to answer hundreds of questions from me, as the job progressed, which they did with patience. I dont think you would be disappointed in their work. Check out the website for example photos!

Tony Cirrintano had been recommended to us by our plumber, and we are so glad we chose to go with his company. From the first moment we began to work with him, he was so honest and helpful. He didn't try to push us to invest more money in the job than we wanted to, but he gave us all of the information about the available products and helped guide us to our decision. We relied on his professional opinion of which tile would look the best and felt total confidence that he was experienced enough to know which ones would work and which ones wouldn't. Words cannot express how pleased we are with AMC's work. It is perfection! We cannot find one thing to complain about! Our shower is absolutely beautiful....like something you would find in a spa resort! All of Tony's recommendations turned out to be so much better than anything we could have come up with on our own. The two employees that came to do the tile work were so friendly and respectful of us and our home. We felt totally comfortable having them come into our house everyday while we were away at work. After work, we always came home excited to see what they had done that day. As we saw the job coming together, we were amazed at their level of expertise. Everything was laid down perfectly and the tile pattern was immaculate. If I could give Tony and AMC 100 stars, I would. They were THAT good!

By far, Eliseo is the best contractor and repair person with whom I have worked. Fast to follow up and great about communicating, he gave us an overly fair, affordable bid for repairing or replacing 60% of the stucco on our house and for adding window flashings. On the first day of work, he started uncovering what turned out to be a hidden, undisclosed wood rot nightmare: the majority of the house's frame and portions of the sill plate were rotted; and the previous owner and his contractor had installed the new windows, window frames, and drywall directly onto the rotted wood. The house had little to no insulation, either. Eliseo not only stuck with us but went above and beyond: he moved and worked around other jobs to reframe the house, add new insulation, completely redo the window flashing, redo the majority of the stucco, and repaint most of the house. In fact, he went so far as to fix garage floor concrete and other issues that came up for no extra charge. It was not an easy job because of the extremely poor work of the previous owner and contractor-work that we could not afford to redo after uncovering the wood rot. Eliseo was the utmost professional in navigating the dynamics between us and the sellers who had originally agreed to pay for part of the repairs before backing out. He always kept us updated on what he was finding, let my work-from-home husband know if it was going to be an especially noisy day, and had an actual conversation about how to proceed with repairs. He worked with us, not just for us. Because of Eliseo, our house now looks like the pictures we saw on real estate websites when we were buying: the walls are straight and smooth, and friends say it looks like a new house. He guarantees his work and will repair cracks as they surface (an unfortunate reality, given Kansas City's weather and soil). We wish Eliseo could be our general contractor for everything and plan to work with him for interior repairs. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
