To make matters worse, the delivery was incomplete. The bear and chocolates were missing, which required the driver to make a second trip. Despite these significant mistakes, there was no discount, apology gesture, or additional item offered to make up for the inconvenience. Called this morning 6/17/24 to arrange a bouquet for my mother's birthday. I explained to associate over the phone early this morning that my mother was not home due to her recently having surgery and had a follow up appointment with MD and would be in this afternoon. I was told by same associate that I would receive a call at 4:00 pm to see if that was better timing for delivery. Before we hung up, I requested a picture of bouquet. I went ahead and paid a total of $105.60 over the phone. I was told delivery to Calexico would be $19, I was told delivery driver would take a trip BEFORE 1. Received a picture at 1:36 pm showing me bouquet. Since we had agreed to a call at 4:00pm I wasn't worried. I received a call at 4:39pm. Same associate took the phone from someone else who was on the line to let me know "the delivery driver is done for the day" I asked for clarification since, I was told I'd receive a call at 4:00pm that didn't come until 4:39pm. I know things happen so I didn't panic when I hadn't received a call at 4:00pm on the dot, things happen and didn't think anything of it. Again, I asked for status since, no one ever called my phone to let me know deliver was on its way OR to let me know no one was home and delivery was unsuccessful. Instead, associate raised her voice and was rude toward me and repeatedly said "the delivery driver is done for the day". Associate then proceeded to ask if I would be ok with a delivery tomorrow (6/18/24). I declined what she was offering as, my mother's birthday is today, not tomorrow. She then offered me a refund and tried to abruptly hang up on me. I was able to ask how long before I saw a refund. She said 3-5 business days. Everything has a solution, I believe. I ended up reaching out to TWIN CITY FLORIST in Calexico since, clearly "Cynthia's flower connection" took on an order they were unable to fulfill. I called before 5 as soon as "Cynthia's flower connection" associate hung up on me and tried to ruin a happy moment to celebrate my mother. With in 15 minutes my order was taken By Margarita, at Twin City Florist. Before 6, flowers had been delivered. I highly recommend, they are fast, have more reasonable prices than "Cynthia's flower connection" AND will happily take your order, attitude, rudeness and stress free. Shame on you for trying to sabotage what could've been a great interaction. read more

While I was a couple of hundred miles away one of my very best friends mom passed away in Holtville California. I called the florist direct and they delivered our arrangement at no cost and my pal Matt said he the arrangement was quite beautiful and he had set it out front in the entrance of the church. I received a flower order yesterday as a gift from this shop. The driver called me and asked if I was home so the flowers wouldn't be left out in the heat. I unfortunately was out so he said that he would do the rest of his deliveries and come back to deliver the flowers latter so they didnt have to stay in the heat too long. I called shortly before closing, expecting to have the flowers sent the following day. Instead, Jessica offered to send them the same day, which was so much better! She helped with every detail of the order - choosing the best price, flowers, size, style and even helping write a heartfelt message. Each of the two arrangements (to be delivered to the same address) was unique and they were equally beautiful - impressive when the two were different sizes. Her color choices were perfect, and the flowers were gorgeous with big, quality, cheerful bows on each. The vases were also very nice. Jessica even sent me pictures before sending the arrangements. Ordered flowers for this Mother's Day. In all, it costs about $100. I wanted to shop local and support local business during the pandemic, but I don't think I'll be using this shop again. I needed a floral arrangement for a memorial in Imperial. I didn't know any florists in the Imperial or El Centro area, so I googled florists and called a few. I ordered from Cynthia's Flower Connection and am so glad I did. JoAnn was so nice to deal with. I asked if they could make an arrangement with a Polynesian feel, that I didn't want a funeral-type arrangement. I wanted an elegant, tropical look. Well, they went above and beyond. The floral arrangement from Cynthia's took a prominent place on the main table at the celebration of life. The family was overwhelmed by the beauty of the arrangement and the size. It was over 3 ft. tall and absolutely beautiful! It now graces their table at home in Mission Beach, still as beautiful a week later. My daughter had a beautiful wedding and reception on 10-26-14 in Brawley CA. Cynthia's Flowers provided their service. My daughter made an excellent choice. The flowers were so beautiful, as well as all the other touches they provided. One of the employees was even in the bridal waiting room with us, when we thought there would be no smaller bridal bouquet for the toss at the reception. It was amazing! This employee had extra flowers and a tool box with all of her supplies in it, and put together the most beautiful bouquet, and even had a ribbon to put on it. WOW! We were so impressed! Not only did they make the church look amazing. They decorated the seats with bows, and made a beautiful tree in the center of the church, with crystal strands hanging down, as well as fresh orchids, and balls of pink roses on pink ribbon. It was a beautiful back drop for the photos, done by Letty Guerro, Brawley. The Stockman's Club, where the reception was held was also beautiful. They made a special back drop for the Bride and Groom to sit at. It had a canopy of white drapery with crystal strands, with Orchids hanging from them. It almost looked like Butterflies. Three giant center pieces were on the front of the table. They even brought the flowers from the church to set up as well, so we could enjoy them all night. They decorated the cake made by, A Thing Called Cake, Brawley, with fresh Orchids as well as other flowers. The put in special lighting, so the table where the cake was, as well as the Bride and Grooms table, were lit from underneath. This added a beautiful touch to these tables. Every table at the reception had beautiful arrangements, as well as some smaller trees that looked like the large one at the church. I just thought it was perfect and the 200 plus guests that were there, are still talking about it. Thank you for making a very stressful day turn out to be a wedding to remember! Every time when I call in to place the order, its always been quick and professional. They really took care of me by making sure the delivery get there on time and not left unattended.
