After 5 years, I'm adding more to my review because I remembered something absolutely disgusting about this place. When you first walk in, they make you go through a metal detector and they search your pockets. Who ever it is who is doing the searches that day is obviously not trained to do them because they all do the search differently and I had one teacher tell me that they were just told to check the students pockets and that's it, it is usually just a random teacher and what they do is they put their fingers into each students socks to check for drugs or anything else in your socks, what is disgusting is that they do not wear gloves and change their gloves between searches. Neither do they wash their hands. They touch hundreds of students legs and go into their socks and then touch your legs and go into your socks. this is absolutely disgusting. I remember in class, I overheard a student say that they had a cut on their leg and their leg was bleeding and the teacher touched that area when checking her socks, that means blood from her cut got on that teachers hands and was then spread to every single other student who was searched after she was searched. Another scary thing is that a lot of the students at this school were sent here after being kicked out of their last school for being caught with drugs, I assume the reason they search your socks is to check for drugs and let's say a student does have drugs in their socks and the teacher searches them and accidentally misses the drugs, that means residue and trace amounts of whatever those drugs were are now on the teachers hands and are now being spread to the skin of every other student who is searched after them. This is absolutely horrifying, unhygienic, and disgusting. Also keep in mind that a lot of the students at this school were very dirty and unhygienic. If they are going to search students pockets and socks, whoever is doing the search should either be made to wash their hands between every single search, or made to wear gloves and change their gloves between searches. I'll admit that I'm not the best when it comes to laws and the legality of this kind of stuff. But I can't imagine this not being in violation of something, this method of search feels illegal. I know for a fact that TSA officers are required to change their gloves between searches for this exact reason. This needs to stop. If you are a student currently attending this school, please, PLEASE, show this review to your parents and teachers. And if you are a parent, then please do something about this. Thank You. read more
