I knew that wasn't correct, but she was sure she was. After again checking my prescription insurance website and even calling them, to correct price was $6.41 . But took me almost two weeks to get it. Then went to pharmacy to pick up a ninety day supply of a medication that is covered by my insurance. I was charged for 90 day supply , but only given 45 day supply. When I went back to get the rest of the script,(which I was not told I was given only 45 days worth). I was leaving town and they wouldn't give me the other 45 days worth, because I came two days early for refill. Follow me. Here...if I would have been given the 90 day supply as it was initially ordered, I wouldn't have needed to go to pharmacy at all , because I would still have had 45 more days. I was told they would refund the over charge, but wouldn't give the pills that I paid for initially. This took my nurse multiple calls back and forth. My nurse told me they would have the medication ready. When I went to the pharmacy was told no script ready. Folks this was a script for a potassium , not an antibiotic or a narcotic. A supplement!! Turns out the medication was in a special "basket" for what reason I don't know, but no one looked in this special basket!! Now if the script isn't in it's regular place, I would look in this special basket given the run around. I have to use this pharmacy, not necessarily this CVS store in particular, but why do I need to drive 12 miles further to get my medications. And the people I was dealing with, are the pharmacy techs that also fill out prescriptions. So my worry was if they don't know how to look up a script to see if it is covered, how sure can I be, when the script gets filled that it is even the correct medication.

Otherwise, my child could have easily been overdosed by receiving double of the one med we received. Today, we picked up refills and they completely shorted us on one of my son's medications. He was supposed to receive 75mLs and it was only filled for 40mL. I don't understand how these things are getting missed when it is all supposed to verified and double checked. Big safety issues. It's absurd. Customer service was also awful both times. We waited at the counter and no one even acknowledged us. When I called about their mistakes, they didnt even apologize. I was very concerned about some recent foot swelling and showed her a picture of my foot at its worst. She was very empathetic and asked if she could show her supervisor the picture. David her supervisor came out and examined my foot some more and empathized as well. He even recommended a doctor I could see for my foot issues. Another staff member Josh was very helpful and educated me on the right type of shoes to wear for my foot. All in all my experience was very positive and Hart and I would highly recommend them.

Right now, however, they are taking very few precautions to keep customers safe as we try to get back to normal. In my most recent trip there, they appear to be taking a hands-off approach to customers wearing masks, with no signs posted beyond one encouraging social distancing. There were equal amounts of customers with and without masks, and of the two employees who I saw with masks, one was below his chin. I realize that masks are not the be-all, end-all of safety precautions, however they are the simplest, and if they don't believe that masks are helpful to reduce covid spread, it makes me doubt a lot of other things about their health and safety policies. For a *pharmacy* that is generally filled with elderly and health-compromised people and should be working to keep folks healthy by following the doctors rather than the politicians, I simply do not see enough safety precautions being taken. I look forward to returning when my health isn't being put at risk by the very place I go to improve it. Sorry, Barney's. You don't get to choose when to believe health professionals. You might as well stop selling medicine altogether if your leadership wants to behave this way.
