Stopped by to grab some cleaning supplies and medicine. While doing my shopping, I really had to pee badly. I noticed a men's room and a women's room with a keypad on the entrance. I set my cart to the side and asked the checker "may I please use the restroom?" "Oh we don't have a public restroom." "Oh.. I really need to keep shopping but I also really need to use a restroom. I want to purchase these things but I'm really only interested in purchasing them if I can relieve myself really quickly. It's uncomfortable shopping while I'm feeling like I'm about to pee my pants." The short bald male worker with the shiny chain just walked away from me while I was talking. I left my cart where it was and left to find another more accommodating store to purchase my essentials. Just a heads up, if you don't treat people with humanity, they will treat you in kind. This is by far the most inept group of people running this pharmacy. On Thursday my husband came home with antibiotics for our child. Only 1 of the 2 bottles normally given. By Monday the bottle ran out. I went to the drive thru at 8pm, the same time the next dose was needed. I told the person at the window we had only received 1 of the 2 bottles and he proceeded to argue with me. He said they would have to check the cameras to see what happened. I encouraged him to do so. He said I would need to come back the next day to speak to a Manager. My child would have missed 2 doses of antibiotics at that point. He said he could go "check the wall". He came back with not only a bottle of antibiotics, but the bottle with my child's name and prescription still printed on it. Proof this pharmacy did not give us the full prescription! (Husband confirmed Saam was the person who game him the prescription) Another time of utter incompetence is when Saam had my health information page in his hands at the window, let it fly out of his hands in a "whoops". I had to chase it down the parking lot. To make matters worse Saam does not know basic letters or numbers on the regular, causing further backups to the long lines. If you are a Calpers employee you should let them know CVS is not equipped to handle the task pharmacy for the state. read more

We have used this CVS pharmacy for many years. Most of their support staff are great (with a few exceptions), but their pharmacists are phenomenal! Pharmacists Andy and Linda have often gone above and beyond for my family. Working retail pharmacy isn't easy--it can be a high-pressure, low-reward environment--and I am always reassured when I see them behind the counter. They are knowledgeable, skilled, and personable. Whenever I have encountered an issue with insurance, they could either find a resolution or advise me on how to do so myself. There are other wonderful pharmacists there, though I don't know them on a first-name basis. The pharmacy techs and cashiers are mostly competent and customer-service oriented, which I always appreciate. I realize dealing with pharmacies and insurance can be frustrating, but I believe this location truly cares about those it serves and does a great job. read more

My pharmacy expert, Sadeia, was incredible! Asked nicely for me to take a seat rather than stand. So polite! She helped me with a smile on her face the whole time! Had my meds filled in 8 minutes rather than 15-20. I had to restrain my roomie from asking her for her number. She is very beautiful so I don't blame him. Lol. I like this pharmacy a LOT. They take good care of the prescriptions that I have filled there. Most of my meds come thru the mail (required by my insurance) but that is recent. in the past we used them for all - because of the drive-thru, and COVID. The check out process when picking up is almost always fast. Sometimes there's a line - but that happens. They're friendly, nice and very helpful. Most recently I got my COVID Booster there and that was a very pleasant experience. It was quick, easy, the person did a great job of the vaccination experience and we were out in a flash. I LIKE This CVS and we've moved since we started here, but I like the place and we are established here. There's a CVS or two closer, but I'd rather drive a little farther because I am comfortable with this Pharmacy. read more

We got in line for the drove thru pharmacy at 1:15, and as we pulled up for our turn, they closed the pharmacy window with no explanation. It was 1:30, and they closed for lunch without saying anything, after we'd been waiting. When inside another time for a different purchase, 2 of the 4 employees were on lunch and no one available to assist with all of the locked areas. Very unprofessional space. read more

This CVS pharmacy is not entirely trustworthy. My prescription 'D' is constantly tampered with (e.g. despite in tablet form - crumbles to pieces, now has a strong/repugnant stench.. similar to nail polish?! Now has an extremely noticeable, overall different effect). Spoke to Pharmacist Andy Diep, whom informed me he's the one to regularly fill this medication... But yet Kenneth Pham appears on the prescription label??!! read more

I had the weirdest experience here! I was out running around doing errands and stopped in here to pick up our usual things...It's on the corner of Fulton and Marconi, right by Town and Country Village. Large lot, easy to find. Right away, I should have known it was odd. I looked for a cart everywhere and didn't see any. I asked the clerk and she says "we only have two and they're both being used right now." Mind you, this is a HUGE store. What??? I needed to buy Halloween candy and there was a big display up front. No prices on anything. Another customer and I were looking. The other customer asked and the clerk was like "I don't know." Again, I should have just left. My list had about 15 normal, common things on it. I found two of them. The shelves were bare and empty in every department. I asked the clerk when I left "Is this a brand new store?" Thinking maybe they're just stocking, etc. She says "no." I had to go to another store on my way home after this Twilight Zone experience here. read more

Unfriendly. Unhelpful. Broken equipment. This review is about the photo center. Nothing is working and their attitude is terrible like you're really putting them out because you want to pick up your things. Not only did they not have my prints ready, they were really nasty about it saying they can't control the machine. And when I said I got a message that it was being printed 2 days ago, she said well we don't send those out they go out automatically. Someone else had been sitting there working on prints at self serve for a long time then the machine turned off without printing and they were really harsh about it and snapped there's nothing they can do about it. I took my reluctant neighbor here for a COVID shot because they said no appointment needed, but they made it very clear that they want you to make an appointment, and if you don't, you MAY get a shot, if they have enough. We stood in the COVID line and were ignored. The lady was there and she left at 4:00 with us standing there like idiots. Everybody saw us. Nobody said anything like, "Hey, the lady isn't coming back. She went home for the day." People were just rude. Do yourself a favor and go to Rite Aid for the COVID vaccine. They are friendly and they don't such short hours. If they are open, then you can get a shot without feeling like your putting them out because you don't have an appointment. read more

I had been waiting for this new store to open for months now as quite honestly CVS has been a favorite chain of mine for years now however finding a kick ass location has proved to be quite the raiders of the lost arc journey for me....... Because this is a brand spankin new location opened less than one month I am not going to withhold the fourth star as several "technical difficulties" and malfunctions occurred on this maiden voyage. I'm issuing the forth star because of "how" the store employees stepped up and chose to handle them which proved great customer service and teamwork and that goes one hell of a long way for me. Size: This is one of the smaller stores however it was well stocked, laid out and had some really good sales going on. The floor plan was well designed and made navigating a new store easy. Drive thru pharmacy: Genius invention and I'm in the process of transferring my prescriptions over to this location verses the current location of the closest Walgreens which based on where we live is in BFE and this CVS is way closer and fills my needs for this service. Bucks-back machine: By far CVS has the best frequent shopper coupon printing spitting outter machine beat by none that I have found to date. However on yesterday's trip the machine suffered serious malfunctions and jammed up repeatedly refusing to print out my long over due coupons. Now for some this may not have been an issue however for me could cause a large internal; small external meltdown as I love coupons and they make me unbelievably happy so when the machine locked up 3 times the manager immediately attended to it and didn't quit until he finally got it to work. Excellent form! Customer service: Once again the emailed coupon didn't transfer to my CVS card as has happened so many times in the past however today when it happened as I was checking out at the register the nice young lady offered to extend the discount on my items after I showed her the screen on my phone with the email and proof of it supposedly posting to my frequent shopper card which in all honesty was the fair and just thing to do however no other clerk at any other CVS store has ever done that. Excellent form and everyone knows who uses their card that it not posting to your card happens entirely too often. Pharmacy staff: More technical difficulties however not on their end but on the end of my Vetrinary Clinic I use where they totally dropped the ball x4 times in less than 24 hrs failing to fax and or call in one of our beloved pups hard to find medication. The CVS staff rocked it and at the helm was the pharmacy manager Sumara who went to painstaking lengths to hunt down Lysodrene a adrenal gland medication for our pup that no vet seems to carry yet prescribes; let alone any pharmacies even for human use but she did it and had it shipped to their pharmacy in less than 24 hours for me. Excellent form! I have high hopes for this location and the fact that they are located directly across the street from Trader Joes, Papa Murphy's Pizza and Great Clips; 3 businesses I frequent regularly is more than an added bonus. read more

For the location at 2636 Marconi Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821 This is just to let people know, especially if you don't want to be out in public for long because of the Stay and Shelter (coronavirus) directive, not to go to this CVS. The last two times I've been there, the first employee wasn't trained to use the money order machine. But this time, I understand it wasn't their fault, but I was basically asked to leave after handing them $723.84 plus the money order fee, in cash, and just come back later when the machine worked..... Yeah. I didn't even have a receipt. The second employee did write one out but balked and wouldn't make it for the actual amount. She just hastily scribbled $700, rather than the $723.84. This was for my 80 year old mother's rent. And the girl only angrily changed it to the right amount AFTER my 80 year old mother came into the store, with a mask on and everything, risking exposure. Yes, things happen, but to act defensive when I ask for a receipt and at no point just say, sorry, I know you've been standing here for 45 minutes...? Come on. Is there NO customer service anymore. I was understanding. Train people. Let the customer know they're appreciated. And don't do stupid stuff like ask them to just, chill out, and come back later with no proof that you've paid. I had to actually ask for the one money order that they were able to print. All this with a mask on. And no, the front cashier had no mask or kerchief. Nothing. People should have some training in how to be understanding or at least professional. NOT HAPPY. I can't even reach a manager to express my opinion. And the website is very antiquated. So that when I try to leave an email, I have to actually remember my stupid password for a site that I would never use. Save yourself time, aggravation and insult. Worst CVS I have ever been to. Badly run. Dishonest. Rip off. They over charged me $2 per ream of Caliber paper. Price was clearly marked on shelf and as you can see in the photo, on the CVS website but when I got to the cashier a ream of cheap copy paper cost $8.99 instead of $6.99 and I was buying two of them. There was no sale. Just a straight rip off. Ghetto atmosphere. Mask compliance weak. Customers wearing masks below their noses. Employees say nothing to them. No baskets to put items in. Cashier lines long and slow. Stay far, far away from this store. Unfortunately it is the closest CVS to my house - extremely convenient which is the only reason I go there but this was the last time. I'm a business owner who purchased a pack of vinyl gloves for approx $12. It is the very end of the year in fact it is December 28th so I have sent all of my receipts already to my accountant. Today I realized I had the wrong kind of gloves and tried to exchange them in the store. I was told that not only did the girl not know her manager's name but that there was no manager available and that there was not another single human being in the store that could help her and that she was brand new and told me that there are absolutely no refunds without a receipt. The CVS return policy States withhout a receipt you would get store credit however they refused to even exchange my items. The employee at the front said she was brand new and couldn't even tell me what her manager's name was. When I called corporate they transferred me to a 3rd party vendor who couldn't help me at all and the employee that I spoke with at customer service couldn't tell me what the return policy was either. This is absolutely appalling to me. If I was trying to get money back or if it was an item that was a lot of money I could maybe understand however this is a $12 item that I was trying to exchange in store. I will be leaving the store and taking all of my pharmacy needs from there as well read more

I have had experiences in this store where clerks/employees were actively trying to *not* help me as a customer. They didn't want to give me a good customer experience, they just wanted to be right. About something that can only be described as a customer service experience. One that should be made positive not where THEY PUSH AGAINST the customer, me, being helped appropriately. Regarding me getting a refund or just do an exchange on a pair of broken sunglasses that are identical to a pair/ brand that they carry that I bought in that same store. They break a lot and so I keep the tags to do exchanges sometimes and I have done it several times in the past but the guy didn't listen to me. He told me "I am really strict" while * leaning forward to try and look down on /at me and shut down the situation. He kept saying it'd be a manager situation but indicating he wouldn't help me or call one. I explained multiple times that the glasses are obviously identical and I have done this several times before and he just kept repeating about it not being possible even though I've done it several times before. He really didn't wanna call the manager even though I told him this was a routine thing I've done twice before at the store already, because the sunglasses break pretty easily. I had to insist he called the manager to help me because he didn't want to. I don't know if it was sexism or what but he was genuinely annoyed that I was able to get the manager to do the refund. He was so rude that I actually voiced aloud to him that he really didn't want it to work out for me and he just sort of like made a sound and didn't do anything. The manager came up and immediately rectify the situation and the guy was so annoyed. What awful customer service. I'm not sure how much was general sexism and just not wanting to help me bc I'm a woman? but he was definitely condescending. Why not offer to help and I hope that it'll work for me? Even when they are super busy they still make sure they can find the cheapest price for you to pay for your prescription even when you have insurance! Very nice staff! Pharmacy is backed up and patients are having to wait 30 min to over an hour for their meds. The seating area is crowded with only 4 seats for those who have to wait, as of right now there is more than 5 people waiting on prescriptions that they have called in over an hour ago. This is a CVS I will not visit anymore. Big difference between this one and the CVS at Marconi Ave and Walnut. At this one (Fulton/Marconi) I walked in and two employees were talking to one another at one of the registers- not a big deal. But when I proceeded to the Prescription Pick Up counter, out of three employees in the back, no one acknowledged me. One of them was helping someone at the drive-thru, so I understand. But the other two ignored me for several minutes until one of them muttered what sounded like "...be with you." Not great customer service when I'm used to the excellent customer service a couple of miles down Marconi. I gave this store two stars because when I told the employee who helped me about feeling ignored by the pharmacy she apologized, perhaps not sincerely, but she uttered the words. read more

CVS needs to oversee their choice of "manager" pharmacist! Perhaps if they education is above a MD's or has the ability to lie to customers this doesn't go far!! I was checking on a medication Danika indicated it was a controlled medication and they would not refill the prescription, so I called another pharmacy, low and behold she gave incorrect information! Mmm her professionalism has much to be desired! This type of disposition is unacceptable. Then to argue and over talk a customer is so inappropriate. CVS will be loosing a lot of customers until they could hire a person that can follow protocol!! Also the area is so unsanitary, several customers use the same area without any type of sterilization routine. Will not be returning and other customers need to realize high standard of care is a priority and this pharmacy has lost its standard of care! read more

Came here to buy some travel size items after finishing a marathon earlier, they have everything that I wanted, when I went to check out, the guy was able to open another register when he saw me waiting in line, it wasn't really that busy so that was nice for him to do that. Great pharmacy. I just switched from the Walmart on El Camino that just closes and they are so wonderful. Always so friendly, and don't screw ip my insurance every single time like Walmart did (and I used them for a year, every time they had to re run it and took 2+ hours to fix it). Idk why I didn't change sooner but this pharmacy is so awesome! I've never even had to give them mine or my sons insurance card in person because I did it over the phone. Highly recommend! read more
