Went to pick up a medication was told it wasn't ready. Went to consultation windows and was told they would get it ready. Came back the next day and it was still not ready. Seems like they are not able to or don't care much about doing their job as a pharmacy. Maybe they need to drop pharmacy services and just be a convenience store. I called the pharmacy to check on my prescriptions and told the pharmacist that I didn't need one of the four that were ready I guess he thought I wanted it removed from my profile altogether, and I had to explain to him that wasn't what I wanted I just didn't want that current bottle because I didn't need it He got very snippy and talked to me like I was a child, then he became dismissive when I tried to explain what I wanted It was as if he could not be bothered with me I have been getting my meds there for over 20 years, but now I think it's time I found somewhere else read more

I was traveling in Evansville, IN and needed to see someone about my cold and earache. I made an appointment the night before for 9am in the morning. I showed up about 10 min early and was seen immediately. Got a prescription filled and was taken right in. Great service, nice people. The store could use a facelift though. read more

They can never find my prescritpion,always out of stock and rude in drive thru. I get the same meds every month for the last 3 years. Still never have them on stock, so frustrating. My dog needs insulin syringes, again I get them every month and they always act like they have no idea what I'm talking about and get snippy about it I realize they are super busy, but het a better system and more staff !!!!!! The pharmacy is constantly out of stock, they always try to overcharge people. Rarely do I ever have a good experience with them. They make everything more difficult than it needs to be and constantly give you the run around. I've been working on getting this medication and they told me it would be ready today, so I show up and the guy tells me it hasn't been ordered yet and that he can order it for me. It's a medication that I have to have to go into remission. Thanks CVS for constantly letting your customers down. The only reason I have stayed with this pharmacy is because they are the only ones in my area that carry a different daily medication I need. read more

I had long ago stopped using CVS for pharmacy needs as they made too many errors, was constantly told they were out of stock of certain medications and they price their drugs much higher then Walmart. It had been a while so I thought I would try them out when flu season came around. I scheduled on-line for my flu shot and also scheduled my mother's. She needed a higher dose because of her age. When she called about her appt she was told her CVS was out of higher dose. When I showed up for my appt, I was told they didn't have the appt on their computer and they were out of it but referred me over to their Minute Clinic. When I spoke to this lady she told me I could sign up on their kiosk but she was going to lunch. Yeah,so.... I am so done with CVS! read more

My husband and I set up an appointment online with the minute clinic for a flu shot. Our appointment was in 13 minutes, so we left home immediately to get there. Could not "check in" without a number that they assigned to you online via email. The nurse walked out, And we ask her to find us with our last name. She acted as though we were morons, and should check our messages on text. There was no text message. She told us we had to redo everything we had already done online. Was not helpful in the least. I have had dealings with her in the past, And she was rude then as well. Needless to say we went to Walgreens and got our flu shot by a very pleasant person who was very professional and helpful. Let me tell you why you should never use this pharmacy as it is a matter of your life. My son spent 7 weeks in the hospital with grave injuries and came out of it but with a weakened heart - advanced heart failure. He Experiences horrible nerve damage due to all the surgeries. We have to keep his heart rate down to around 80. It's been staying at 113/120 recently due to his pain. We already had one trip to the ER that weekend. The plan was to up his pain meds because he was on a very low dose and to keep him from going back to the ER. He hadn't slept in two days due to the pain. We went to pick up the RX only for the pharmacist to refuse to fill it. We tried to explain the situation that all his specialists agreed that the was the best plan for now. He said he had the right to deny it. We said you do not know more than his specialists and basically he said yes I do. There are no interactions with other drugs. Things escalated as we were panicked. We probably won't be allowed to go back. We have been through a horrible experience the last few months with almost losing our son and healthcare in general is hard to maneuver and these turds are playing God with my sons health. This was only our second script for pain meds and they denied it because we were short a few days from the refill date. The Rx was to get him through to next week until we had a plan. It was only a 7 day RX. Today my son sits in excruciating pain with a high heart rate. We will be returning back to the ER tonight (Saturday) to get his pain level down. Once he is comfortable again, I will do everything in my power to sue/prosecute this location for negligence. As we were leaving the tech said in a smart ass and condescending voice, have a nice day, like a child. We are sitting here looking at our son with tears and feeling helpless while he suffers. This is no joke people. I am angry that they can take such a stance while playing with someone's life and joking about it when we left. I am done. Fuck you CVS. read more

I had a very very very bad experience with the pharmacist December 19th. I walked in to get my prescription for my sick children that was sent in around 4 pm. I didn't make it to the cvs in Newburgh until around 9 due to unforeseen circumstances. I go to the pharmacy say I had to pick up the pharmacist said " your sons already done but we've have to do your daughters but we have already started on it give us 15 minutes. " so I went to walk around no big deal. After 20 minutes I walk up to him talking to another woman saying they were out of stock and she said " your out of stock of so and so medicine"? he was like that's not your prescription it's this she proceeded to tell him he was wrong he said the last name is hale right? That's when I stepped up and said no that's me. NEVER ONCE APOLOGIZED FOR HIS ACTIONS OF TELLING SOMEONE MY INFORMATION. what if it was embarrassing. So he's like we don't have it which leaves me confused because previously he said they were already started on it. He stopped talking to me in mid conversation and went back to helping the other lady when I don't know what to do about getting this script filled my child NEEDS. HE told me all other cvs were closed which was a lie and I could have made it to another one. A nice lady tried to help me and call over to the other 24 hour cvs to see if they had it but unfortunately no answer. So I just left with my sons prescription. I get home with my sons and its NOT MIXED. It's just a powder which made me pretty mad after the man was already super unprofessional with me so I tried calling for 20 minutes to see if there was anything I could do instead of going back. NO ANSWER so I went in. The nice lady there automatically apologized but I wanted to talk to the pharmacist since he was supposed to see the script last. He automatically blamed the lady that went above and beyond to help me. So that made me very frustrated due to my altercation prior again never once saying sorry. He acted like it was no big deal at all when my child is sick and I needed to get him to bed and get his medication started he is one. I started questioning him because I did not un how he could just blame his staff like that and not apologize. I would have just looked over it if he hadn't handled it the way he did people make mistakes No big deal. I calmly asked how come could it possibly not be mixed when they say your script will be ready and filled in 15 minutes. His excuse he gave me was complete nonsense and I said I'm sorry I just don't understand and began to walk away. He then said that's because your not working back here and don't understand how it works and we're super busy! That's when I got really upset. He then said hear that phone ringing right now that's another prescription coming in I have lots of them so it's not just you and your prescription which I obviously know that. But if you can't do your job and apologize and make the medication right and handle high stress and demand dont be in a line of work like that. Things got worse and I ended up walking away as he continued mouthing off I got in the car and called my husband because I was completely shocked by how this man treated me. He called the pharmacy and they answered him not long after he called at all and the man had the audacity to call me rude after my husband asked him to list his job description. My husband said does your job consist of checking the script every time before it goes out. He said yes it does I have to check everyone before it leaves here. Which obviously didn't happen. Needless to say this man is very rude so if you need something done go in the day if all possible. I know nothing will be done based off this because everywhere's short staffed but I'd rather have no staff then this man. I never have made a review on a page before I'm very easy going but my situation was handled completely wrong no apology then I was told I was in the wrong and rude for him mixing up prescription's telling my daughters personal medial information to another person without checking her name first and being told his boss would absolutely love to hear about this. read more

The pharmacy staff are completely unprofessional and obviously do NOT communicate. I keep going there in hopes that it will change; however, a staff member will tell you one thing about receiving medication and another will tell you something absolutely different whenever I come to pick up my meds. There is one pharmacy tech that is about in her 40s with long dark hair and tattoos on her forearm (I believe her name is Sheila). She is just rude and unprofessional. She talks down to customers, even if you're being polite. She's an an absolute Cu** and needs to be put in her place. The staff should get their heads together and work on their behavior. Have used this CVS many times and put up with numerous errors, out-of-stocks and rude staff. Today was last time for me. My script is fsxed months in advance with fill date but because it is controlled I have to call them the day of to get refill, not a day before. Today I am out and called but no stock. Won't get ot for 2 more days. I was willing to go one day but they said no. Other CVS has stock but this Tech (Paula) says they can't transfer the script. Nothing I can do other than call my doc and see if they will cancel this one and send one ro other CVS. Even though I have been a customer with CVS Newburgh, she treated me as if I were a drug addict. Long story short, 2 months ago they lost ny coupon and charged me too much. Then claimed coupon was applied by price went up. Last month the price was back to what it usually is with coupon. Other meds were refilled before I needed it and costly. Never have stock and phcy staff are rude. Oh, and when they get stock 2 days from now, I will have to call them to get refill....and hope they ordered it. I'm done. So wrong. read more
