On few occasions I've managed to escape here with only mild-frustrations. One time I asked a guy where TIME magazine was, he was appalled that people were still reading TIME magazine (they had an expose on Mad Men's final season, I'm a huge Mad Men fan and can't wait to see how the series ends) The employee just kept pointing to a double-sized TIME retrospective on Mother Theresa. Does Mother Theresa even bare a passing resemblance to Jon Hamm? Okay, yeah - maybe - a little bit. The lines are always long, and it seems like the employees would rather cut themselves open and bleed out in front of you than open another register. Their saving grace is the woman from cosmetics - who at least seems to have a handle on the fact that she is indeed working for a company and selling goods to people in a store. My fat roommate who wears the robe also hates this Walgreens, but won't say why - I can't imagine the horrors he must have endured here, if he's being tight lipped about his experience. My dog even hates the Walgreen brand dog snacks, and Mocha (the dog) once ate a carrot off the kitchen floor.

There was one cashier and one working self check out. The cashier was helping someone so figured I would just use the self checkout, and as soon as I scanned my one item a message blared "requesting assistance." Not sure what set it off? The cashier was still helping the one customer at the register so I waited for someone to come help me in self checkout. Another employee came, swiped their card and I was good to go. Knocking two stars for the slow checkout process and the malfunctioning self checkout. Pros: -good variety of items -this location has a photo dept Cons: -slow checkout -malfunctions self check out -not many people around to ask for help

My thought here is that this was a Thrift Drug since you usually found them in a strip mall. Rite Aid swept in, gave it a makeover, and slapped their name on it. Even though the inside of this was newly remodeled it still had that feel that it is underutilized. You get that feeling because of the lack of items available on the shelves and in the coolers. I browsed for a bit, picked up a few items, and made my way to the counter. There was a minimal wait until a staff member who was performing two jobs in one came to the counter to ring me out.

I get there at 8:45 i see the drive through window is closed. i sit there for 20 minutes, in case the window doesn't open until 9. As cars line up behind me, at 9:05 still closed, so i walk in and see the pharmacy gate is closed. they tell me the pharmacist is running late!!! over an hour late? people need their medication, this isn't fast food, its a service that elderly people rely on. who has time to sit and wait for these people? im pulling all my scripts from this terrible pharmacy.
