I came to this CVS to load cash onto my Chime account. The first transaction worked perfectly, but the second transaction for $500 did not. The employee accepted my cash and told me to come back within 24 hours if the money didn't show up in my account. I did exactly what I was told. When I returned, the store manager and the front cashier treated me like I didn't matter. Instead of listening to me or trying to investigate what happened, they immediately told me to call my bank. I did, and Chime confirmed they never received the transaction and therefore had nothing to investigate because the money was never sent to them. I even had receipts showing that one transaction was ACTIVATED while the other only said ACCEPTED, but they refused to compare them or take any responsibility. They acted like it wasn't their problem, even though CVS accepted my cash. As I'm writing this review, I STILL do not have my $500 back. CVS kept my money, and no one has refunded me or helped resolve this issue. That $500 was my rent money, and because of their mistake, I'm left dealing with the financial consequences. I have never felt so disrespected by a business. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no attempt to help fix a problem that happened in their store. Instead, they brushed me off and sent me in circles. I expect much better from a company like CVS. If you're considering using this location to load cash onto a card or account, I would strongly recommend thinking twice based on my experience. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I spent 20 minutes waiting in line so the idiot behind the counter could explain 4 different OVER THE COUNTER medications to a couple. Ring em up and tell them to read the F'ing box. Late for work and now need blood pressure medication because of this place. Avoid at all costs if you value your time at all. read more

Always easy to get my scripts filled. The app keeps me updated on refill info and sends pick up notifications and reminders. The discounts are easy to add. I save time & money over driving to the base for the free refills. read more

WHAT A DUMP!!! If you go to the drive thru, you can see all the garbage, leaves, pallet pieces and whatever laying everywhere!!! Some of that crap has been laying there for over 2 years. I know they are short handed, but you would think they could clean and sweep this mess up! read more

After my experience with Minot CVS I joined yelp just to write this review. I went to CVS to get my family's medication, because the doctor who gave us the prescription was from out of town and had very little options available to send the medication to us in Minot. Despite all my wishes they sent it to CVS. I lived in Minot for 6 years and I have only went to this CVS because the experience is worse EVAH. I will admit this was a bad day for me I waited in a long line to only realize my wallet was in the car to only to be told that when I came back I would have to go back in the line. Which was fine since I screwed up by not double checking if my wallet was in my purse. When I finally get to the counter I give them my name birthdate and etc. It's time for the tech to ring up my order where she yells in shock YOU DON'T HAVE INSURANCE where of course everyone looks at me shocked. I said "Wow thanks for being loud, and yes I have insurance you just don't accept it". I already knew a head of time that the medication was going to be full price since I called ahead. Now I'm waiting for the tech to ring up my order and she still hasn't. I look at her and telling her I'm ready. She looks back at the pharmacist who then tries to lecture me about insurance which by the way I do have insurance just that CVS doesn't accept Tri Care anymore. As the pharmacist lectures me about sending my request to another pharmacy I told her, no its fine... I'll just pay.... The tech still did not ring up my order. Now I'm tired, I recovering from a respiratory chest infection I got a kid whose hyper and bouncing off the walls since the lollipops are right next to the counter and its cold. I just want to get the medication and go home. But nope I'm constantly swiping my card and sticking in my chip trying to figure out why the hell in't it letting me pay to only find out that the tech still hasn't done anything. And I realize why, she's waiting for the badly dressed fashionista pharmacist who comes out of her wall office to look a the medication listed. She tabs some keys on her keyboard comes back to the counter to then tell my my insurance will not be covered in CVS which I said... Yeah I know. She then informs me that my prescription can be moved where I told her it couldn't this is where they sent it and I'm okay. She goes back to her makeshift cubical to tap on her keys again to come back and tell me "Oh I remember this order because someone tried to have it moved" Where I responded again. " Yeah, I know and they couldn't" She then tells me as I'm still waiting for the tech to let me pay. She this being the Fashionista pharmacist then continues to inform me in detail on why they couldn't move it but I should call the doctor and tell them to move it. Which I told her that, " They could not move it because the doctor is from out of time and it was actually a web interaction thing the point being I am here to get the meds and I am waiting to pay for them". She then tells me to tell the nurse to move in which I am trying to tell her that the nurse couldn't since the situation was difficult. She then taps on the tech who at this point is playing with my daughter as me and the pharmacist are having this one sided conversation. Shen then tells me that this medication is available at other drug stores which I told her that CVS was actually the only one that had it in stock because I had called ahead, in which she replies that they could easily order it. Now at this point my nerves are already high and I just said sarcastically or you two can just let me pay for the medication. Seeing that I was angry she then says with the most attitude a Hobby Lobby black scarf can give that "She was just trying to give me options". I was so mad I was like well thanks for nothing you did swell. To only have the tech finally ring up my order and ask me if I had any questions for the pharmacist. HA! So a pick up that should have taken about 10 at the counter ended up taking 20 minutes of my time because the pharmcist wanted to give me advice about my insurance policy, medication, where to pick up the meds, not to return to CVS, and the embarrassment of having to politely tell a CVS employee to mind there damn business and give me my damn drugs. But the stupidest part of the entire experience is that by the time I got home all the medication was jammed into a bottle that smashed all the pills into fragments GREAT! ALSO THERE WAS NO REFILL ON THE MEDICATION ..... I COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT THE LECTURE My responding being I know. Then she goes on in great details saying that she remembers someone asking to move to perception and they couldn't once again,.. yea I know that was me. She then goes on and tells me they couldn't do it but after I full the prescription I can have the medication moved which once's again I sounded like broken record since I kept telling her " Yea... Not very helpful, at all. I was having prescriptions from an out of town pharmacy transferred since I'll be in minot for several months. They said my insurance card contained inadequate information. I asked them if they could call the provider line and clear up the matter. They refused and said that I had to call. My insurance administrator does not have Sunday hours and I couldn't get any help from the provider line since I'm not a provider. I am now faced with going mire than just today without a vital medication. They refused to give me an emergency supply putting my health at risk read more

I'm very grateful for how helpful the staff is at this pharmacy. They helped me when I came in (I was ill and disoriented.) They also will try to help with discounts on refills if it is possible. They are busy which isn't surprising for this city. There are a few other options for pharmacies. I know CVS does have automatic call in for refills and drop offs. Side note- they have some of the better discounts for makeup during promos/sales. Better than local stores honestly. read more

Just to warn you... the line for dropping off a prescription can be just as long as the line for picking up a prescription, any given day. Some think that the service is a bit faster picking up prescriptions through the drive through, but I have not tried there yet. Make sure you plan to be there awhile, be sure you have all your discount prescription cards ready to go (they don't have time to renew it for you like other pharmacies), and you will eventually get what you came for. read more

Really bad customer service. Had prescription filled. Several days later started getting 2-3 robo calls per day wanting to refill. Even after blocking the number calls filled voice mail. Called the pharmacy, on hold 25 minutes, they say they will stop the calls. They did so by changing the status of the prescription to Inactive. When I try to refill at my local CVS in Las Vegas I am told I have to get a new prescription. Once marked Inactive cannot be changed nor refilled. Yes it was their mistake, they admitted, but would not fix. Really poor service. read more

I like CVS. My experience is pretty mild when I go in. I'm always approached and asked if I need help. And. I have always had a positive experience in the store. That's why I continue to shop there. The prices are comparable, and sometimes better. Glad CVS is in Minot. read more

i needed to fill penicillin v potassium and used goodrx,com i registered and became gold member, cvs at first wanted $28+ change, i showed the good rx regularprice $15.77 so i had to go in and they fussed a bit i told them i registered and was goodrxgold member making price $8.74 that wasn't honnored and it was super fishy i received a text that my order was ready hours earlier, but when i got there and showed them the info on my phone suddenly my order wasnt ready, they had to refill it, i know there's generics but that's wh add t they give you without demanding name brand, and antibiotics are poisons to kill infections, but what is the deal with suddenly changing what they were giving me and filling something completly different. and i was not angry or hostile towords staff but i could feel the discust they had for me wanting fair price since i had no insurance, it felt like what i think some street drug deal would be like, and telling them your not paying stupid high prices. only in america. we should have a real war on drugs against all these big pharma pushing high priced pills at us like eliquis at $460 i'm glad i don't need that any more after loosing insurance. and allow true freedom from the hidden cures like ayauscca, ibogaine that cure the worst addicts and ptsd cases but they are grown naturally and would be to cheap to cure people so america wants the suffering to go on so certian ones can profit that's the biggest scam ever. read more

i swear they have a policy that says, "don't fill until customer makes an appearance in the drive thru, and then, make them wait ten minutes, and then ask them to come back in twenty minutes or at least wait until there are two cars behind them and then ask if they will take a lap and get in line again" everytime, doesn't matter if we come two hours later, or if we wait a day, or even if we get a text message notification. seriously, gotta be the policy. read more

I walked into the store and stood in line for more than 15 minutes waiting to drop off my prescriptions (6 of them): then waited patiently while the pharmacy assistant hand wrote 5 of the Rx from the bottles. When I returned 4 hrs later I was told by the cashier that they were still working on them. I waited another 15 minutes before being called. The cashier came back with 1 bottle. I informed her that there should be 6 Rx for me. She gave me a blank look and said there was only this one. There was no record on the computer about any other medications. She said I could go back over to the drop off counter and ask what happened to the others. I said "not if it's going to be another 4 hr wait". She never apologized for the mix up or offered to check with drop off herself. When she rang up the one Rx, it was $11 or 21/2 times more than I pay for it at my pharmacy in Washington (not a CVS). I almost said never mind but then I would have to stand in line at drop off for another 15 minutes or more to get the original script back. It was a terrible experience overall and I will never do business with your company again nor will I recommend it to anyone else. read more
