This is a locally owned and operated pharmacy right on Kingsley Avenue that carries a great selection of products for all of your medical care needs. It's also a full service pharmacy where you can drop off your prescriptions and relax in the adjacent waiting room while it's being filled. There is plenty of parking and the customer service is friendly and personal. It seems like they have a long standing clientele and it's conveniently located across from OPMC. It was the only way I was going to be able to walk again, after being bed-bound for 7 weeks. This was the only place I could find one, but I had called right before they were closing for a 3 day weekend. I also lived about 1.5 hours away from them. They were so kind and offered to meet me the next day even though they were closed, so that I could purchase a post-op shoe. This just blew me away... talk about above and beyond. Whatever white, short & stubby older lady they have an auto department is very snappy. I could see that she was helping another customer , however, she came to interrupt another man working and helping a customer so I took that opportunity to ask her if the stock that was on the shelf is all that they have. I was up at Aspen Dental (near 295) and before I left their office, the doctor sent the pharmacy the prescription. So, when I got to Walmart, I decided to walk around and get my shopping done, giving the pharmacy plenty of time to fill the prescription (8 pain pills)... When I was done, I went over to pick it up and they said they hadn't gotten it yet and low and behold while I was standing there she received it... When I told her that it was sent Electronically before I left their office and even did my shopping when I got down to the Walmart, She replied with, "It was sent Electronically, which takes time - it's a process." - My husband is an Electrical Engineer and I know better! --- She told me it would take 10-15 minutes to fill & then she walked away and did her thing... 24 minutes later my husband walked up to me (He was sitting in the car this whole time!) and asked if everything was okay... (while other people were coming and going) I explained the issue and he said right then and there - NEVER AGAIN! 9 minutes later, I was finally called up to pay and pick up my tiny little prescription! Not only has this place gone DOWNHILL BIG TIME!! But the ladies here are now RUDE, UNKIND, INCONSIDERATE, THOUGHTLESS, CARELESS, CRUEL, PREVARICATORS, NARROW-MINDED, & Downright ARROGANT... The beers, cold sides, and sweet tea was located on the right side of the store next to the seafood department. There's no self checkout. Three lanes were open and the cashier was nice. The liquor store is next door, but there is another business in between which is a little strange.
