They had a wide variety of things neatly packed into a small (CLEAN!!) space & they couldn't have been friendlier. We visited a few times over the weekend, thankful for their hours of operation. Each time, everyone was super friendly & helpful. Every product we purchased was super fresh, which speaks to how quickly stock is rotated. Our favorite thing was the fresh rotisserie chicken! Oh my gosh, Costco could NEVER!!! We loved it so much we came back twice for more & now that we're home almost 2 weeks, we've talked about it several times LOL I can go on & on about all the good things about Good Grocer, but you should check it out for yourself if you ever find yourself in the area because it is a gem!

I assume this employee was fairly new as I have not seen her working there before. This manager rudely embarrassed this employee IN FRONT of customers by using a tone that was extremely unprofessional. I'm a shift supervisor for the company I work for and would never treat my workers like that. Not only did she embarrass this employee, but she was speaking loud enough about having too much money in the drawer that everyone who was near the front of the store could hear. Please find better management or re-train current management.

They have artwork and antiques that are beyond belief. There is nothing that even looks used. About half of the clothing is absolutely brand new/unused and the remainder looks brand new. Someone told me that they cull thru the donations and only keep the absolute best of the best. This is a new location which is larger than the old one and located in the center of Margaretville in a beautiful old building which is the cornerstone of the Village. They have frequent "Bag Sales" where you can fill a bag for a fixed price and also regular "2 for 1 sales". Many NYC visitors make sure they come to the Margaretville Thrift shop because of the quality and low prices.
