If I didn't have to use this pharmacy because the other chain in town is actually worse, I wouldn't. The main issue here is staffing. On 9 calls out of 10 you can never speak to an actual human being. Once you do get to talk to someone with a callback ,I will say they are usually (though not always) helpful. You can hear the stress and frustration in their voices from being overworked. It makes me wonder if they are so short-handed that the quality of their important work is compromised. Their hours are limited, only open until 7pm weekdays which for many customers is not convenient. The CVS IVR and App are useless. The IVR never "understands' and it seems the app frequently fails to find my RX account or has information from a previous account/location from years ago. If anyone at the corporate level reads these reviews, my question is: How can you stay in business at this location if you can't even find enough staff to help customers whose "business is important to us"? read more

I've had a horrible time trying to get a prescription delivered. CVS first stopped delivery of one prescription the day before I was to receive it, then in trying to get it again, they said they were filling my order and I should see it in a week. A week passed and nothing. I called, they could see the conversation but had zero explanation as to why they didn't ship it out. With great promises that it was going out, they promised overnight delivery. When I called today, it was being delivered to the wrong address. They did say they would try to correct their mistake and it would be here tomorrow. I'm out of my medication. This evening I got notice they aren't getting my prescription to me until after the 4th of next month. I can get no explanation and they just keep making empty promises with taking ZERO responsibility. THIS IS NOT OKAY! They have had 3 weeks to get it right and now it's affecting my health. read more

Things have turned completely around since Aaron Sikes has come on board. They still appear to be overwhelmed and the staff is frequently inefficient but attempting to help. Mr. Sikes is great at taking charge and getting things done. He is very much appreciated. This location really needed him. read more

The hold time at this pharmacy is completely inappropriate. I am a doctor that was put on hold for exactly 20 minutes to speak with the pharmacist about a patient prescription and then was hung up automatically with a message saying that they went to lunch. I never talked to anyone. Now, calling back after their lunch break, I'm having to wait the same hold time all over again. Do they have any staff there? read more

I transferred a script for insulin at 6:15 called the pharmacy to make sure they received said script. I was on hold 45 min listening to commercials. I was disconnected before anyone picked up. Call back and on hold 20 min. Finally got an answer I said I was calling about a transfered prescription and was told hold on. 1:01 on hold no one came back on line. called cust service who called store. My daughter went to pharmacy and K Turner told her I don't have to fill this script. my daughter told pharmacist my 92 year old gmom was totally out, she refused to fill it said she can wait until tomorrow. Mean time I'm still holding and she never came back On the line. Publix pharmacy bent over backwards to accommodate and got script filled. this was a medical emergency and the night store manager said this wasn't only complaint about this pharmacist. I do not recommend anyone going to this CVS pharmacy; especially through the drive-thru. I went to go pick up my medication & the young lady came to the window, ask for my name, return with the medication, put the bag in the basket, push it out & left. She did not ask if I had any questions about the medication, gave me a receipt or said at least "Thank You" or "Goodbye". That is very bad customer service. I don't recommend this pharmacy to anyone because you don't get respect there whatsoever. read more

Unfortunately my company requires me to go through CVS to get my prescriptions. I had the Dr call in the a renewal for my prescription, and I got a recorded phone call saying that CVS was waiting to talk to my Dr about an alternative medication. WHAT!!!! The recording gave me the option to talk to the pharmacy, which I selected upon which I was put on hold for over 40 minutes, they did not even pick up to say we will be right with you , I finally hung up, called Publix (my original pharmacy, they are the best), ordered my prescription and will not use my insurance. My next call is to my HR department to let them know of the problems and ask for an override so I can continue to use Publix. For evidence, I will give them the number for CVS and let them sit on hold. read more

Would give them a zero if that was an option. Elderly parent went to pick up a prescription one evening and was told "it isn't here." Provider has accidentally sent the prescription to a different CVS. Instead of offering to pull the Rx to the Baya location and fill it she was sent across town to a pharmacy that was already closed for the night. (Note, this was a time sensitive medication for a STAT procedure the following day.) Elderly parent called in tears. Fast forward to next morning and I call and was told "we're busy." No sense of urgency despite the situation. Go to location and pharmacist steps in after overhearing conversation and tells tech to "expedite it." She does, but it sits in cue for 10 min and pharmacist again steps in to ask if anyone has filled it. Nope. Finally gets filled, but is processed incorrectly and has to be redone. Extremely poor customer service and lack of recognition of urgency of the situation. Would not recommend this location. read more

I love CVS! This one is no exception. They have a wonderful product range and the store is clean and well organized. However, the prices do range between stores, which creates uncertainty if you've gotten the same product elsewhere and it's $2-3 more at a different location. This is where their numerous coupons can come in handy. read more

The staff was courteous, my prescription was ready in 20 mins. Pharmacy tech was thorough and helpful.

I went to pick up my meds today. After 30 minutes waiting at the drive through I finally got to the pick up window. They didn't fill one of my meds that had a refill. The girl in the window kept telling me I couldn't tell my med because it wasn't time. I repeated it over and over, it's my blood pressure medicine and I need it filled. It has a refill. She was unable to understand my simple request so I asked for the pharmacist. She was worse. She said it was my fault because I mispronounced the name. I wasn't, I've taken it for years. They've filled it before. But suddenly they couldn't. The pharmacist said it was inactive. I said it wa impossible because it had a refill and I called it in and the recording they have said it would be ready. If I had believed that lying pharmacist I would be dead. She lied. She was rude. And unprofessional. I'm changing pharmacies because I don't want a liar in charge of my meds.​ read more

Literally the worst CVS I have ever been to my dogs anxiety medicine was supposed to be filled 2 days before I went out of town. I was texted and told it was ready to pick up, went that Friday to pick it up and had to wait TWO HOURS. when I was told it was ready 2 days prior. I understand that they can only hold them for so long but it was literally only 2 days. Any time I have called I am on hold for at LEAST 15 minutes. I've never in my life had problems like this with the CVS I used the majority of my life in Panama City. To be quite frank, the girls working at this CVS seem more concerned about socializing and walking/working at their own pace. As soon as I get off hold (have been sitting here for 13 minutes so far) I will be getting his prescription refills transferred to a different-- more efficient CVS. read more
