They refuse to fill prescriptions that are specifically written for children and infants. What we are told you can buy it over the counter even though we have a prescription and are instructed by our doctor rot get the prescription to make sure the dosage and all is correct. This location is an absolute nightmare. To begin, they will fill prescriptions when you have requested for different prescriptions to be refilled. They say they hold your medication for 14 days but they give it out or they return it, so when you go to pick it up, it won't be ready and then they'll say you don't have any refills even though you never picked up the medication they returned before the 14 day period. Nobody is interested in helping you, everybody has an attitude; if you go to the window, they roll your eyes and are sarcastic. If you call, they just hang up as soon as they quickly answer your question. please for the love of God go to a different pharmacy. read more

This is not a good place to visit. I went to their minute-clinic for a sinus infection. Was told I had strep throat, and given medicine that did not solve the problem at all. It wasn't until I visited a real ENT that I got the actual help I needed. I wouldn't waste money with CVS; they don't offer help for the root of the problem. read more

I needed to Pee so bad, so I came in here. Should have gone to Pee VS. It's always annoying coming up and down this part of town because it's so busy even though it's way out in the middle of nowhere and there isn't a highway for a couple of miles in either direction - one of which is an expensive toll road anyway - but if you need a pharmacy in these parts this is a pretty good one as far as they go. Got discharged from ER with our one year old pneumonia. Needed three prescriptions filled to be taken quickly. Came at 5:30 Saturday. Got home and realized they hadn't mixed one of the prescriptions and we're now closed. Tried to tell us to wait till 10 am on Sunday. We told them that was unacceptable and they ended up calling back in the pharmacist but my trust with this location is now gone read more

I would think that an ability to do simple math would be a requirement for a pharmacist or a pharmacy worker. But, apparently not at this CVS. So, lets do a simple problem. 1) I take my blood glucose 4 times a day, each time using 1 test strip. So, how many test strips should be in a 90 day fill? If you're me with my STEM degree, I would just multiply 4x90=360. SO, I need 360 Test strips for a 90 day supply, right? Well apparently at CVS I only need 150 for a 90 day supply. 2) This ones a bit more complicated but still not all that difficult. If I take 100 units of insulin a day, how many should I need for a 90 day fill? Again, with my silly little STEM degree, I just multiply 100x90 =9000. So, it gets a bit tricky, if there are 1800 units in a box of insulin, how many boxes do I need? If you said that 9000/1800= 5 boxes then clearly you aren't familiar with CVS math. CVS math says that 2 boxes (3600 units) is a 90 day supply. So, I had this math run on me a few times by CVS but this one was by far the worst. They did this for 2 different insulin prescriptions and a test strip prescriptions. The first insulin prescription I caught immediately because it should have been 6 boxes and it was 2. The test strips they managed to rip me off on. The SECOND insulin prescription(Tresiba), I needed as I was going out of town to see my mom, who had been sick. I procrastinated and ended up having to fill it the day before the flight.My fault, but, I called them to make sure they had it "Oh, yeah, we have it, no problem. Come by after work and get it." Cool, all good. So, when I get there, they had run CVS math on me. So, they only had 2 boxes. The woman working there REFUSED to do a partial fill. Something I have done numerous times before, even at CVS. But, she would not. So, their mistake and they won't do anything to help me. When I finally walked out, then they wanted to work it out. I told them that I was working it out by going to a new pharmacy. I had to fill the prescription in Milwaukee due to these peoples incompetence and bad customer service. Remember, this is medication that I take to stay alive. But, that didn't make any difference to them. I'd rather give 0 stars...the service is terrible. I don't know what has happened but lately every time I come to this pharmacy I wait all least 20 minutes. If I am given a pick up time the prescription is never ready and the customer service is terrible. I have always come to CVS but I am taking my business elsewhere. Sometimes you have to leave well enough alone. I came here for a 2nd opinion since we had been to Rediclinic off BunkerHill. Should've saved the trip. Linda was our nurse practitioner. Friendly, I guess, but she talked way too much, never really just getting to the point. We spent way too long with her Then, charged me for what our insurance should've covered!! I'm mad. CVS is notorious for having bad customer service at the pharmacies. Fortunately I haven't had any issues with this one although they do hold to their standards of having less than great CS. I find that the less interaction you have with them the better. They haven't thrown any prescriptions at me nor have I gotten into shouting arguments like the one on hwy 6 and west little York. I'm here for COVID testing, and very disappointed. Plenty of different people wandering around who appear to be employees, but no one seems to know (or care) what's going on. Have been waiting for over an hour. I heard that the COVID testing staff are unionized, and VERY concerned about taking all their negotiated breaks. I hurried into get some Depends adult diapers, but I didn't make it. I pooped myself in the cosmetic section. Luckily it was of nice firm texture, and I was able to work the turd down my pant leg and kick it behind the lipstick rack. An associate named Blanche walked up and immediately helped me find my size of diapers. I explained my incident to her, and she graciously let me open the pack of diapers and put one on it the bathroom. Thank you, Blanche! read more

4 Stars for the minute clinic. Mrs. Linda was very helpful and actually cares about properly diagnosing the issue. 2 star for the pharmacy I was standing at the drop off window and two pharmacists looked at me and kept doing what they were doing, then broke their necks to assist two people who randomly walked off after I left. The female pharmacist even came from behind the counter to help and elderly gentleman. (Admirable but didn't see me dropping off a rx?) I'll drop my rx off at Walgreens by my house. I have been to this pharmacy 4 times now since it's so close to my house and every single time there is a major issue where I leaves extremely angry. They are so rude and act completely confused like they have no idea what going on and give a major push back if you ask anything like price checking or to use coupons. They don't know what they are doing or talking about and move so slowly that you're truly better off driving the 10 miles to a target CVS or other location bc the techs here are truly horrific. Came here yesterday on a rainy sunday afternoon. My toddler is sick and hubby and i go to cvs to get him some meds cause we are out and couldn't find the nasal spray we wanted at walgreens. I walk to the back and look really hard for what i needed before i decided to ask for help. I couldn't find it and I waited for assistance. A pharmacist and seemed like a tech and maybe a student behind the counter. No one in line. Hardly anyone in store or drive through. I waited and waited. So i guess I'm in the wrong line? I go stand closer to where the tech was. But before i got there, a man walked up with a prescription. He was helped and answered his questions and he was on his way. I was next. I waited and i waited. Not even an acnowlegement that i was there or they would be with me. And te tech is right in front of me typing something. I know she saw me as i have been waiting almost 10 minutes now with no help no acnowlegement. I was trying to be nice without interrupting her but come on! I'm a customer obviously there for help and or meds! And I've been patiently waiting for you in an empty store. She finally asks if i needed help, Without looking up from the screen. I gasped, yes please! And asked her for more info in salines and if they carried a brand i needed, which they did but she said thats all we have in that aisle. I gave up, and asked if i could please pay for my meds. She directed me to the other side of the counter and said someone would be with me shortly. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? How rude can you be and you're a tech at the pharmacy!!! People are sick and need a friendly face and someone to come to for their help and guidance. I did not get any if that here. There is no reason for me to plead with the pharmacy to help me because i have a sick child and desperate husband in the car. They should be there to help as you come in or even within 5 short minutes. I waited almost 15 minutes standing at the counter. As my husband texts, where are you, our son is getting crankier in the car, i leave the pharmacy and go pay up front. Nice and considerate does not live here. This CVS is unlike most other CVS'. Inside next to the pharmacy is the minute clinic. While the location may be a tad of a drive from my house.. the convenience of not having to book for an appointment two weeks out and just dropping by justifies the drive 10-fold. There was little to no wait during the times I visited. Its pretty straight-forward with the costs posted on their website. The price is higher than what I would pay elsewhere, but you will have to weigh that in when considering where you want to go. read more

I hate it when I need a service and the ratings are mixed. Especially like the ratings for this place with some very high and some very low. But I figured I'd try and if the wait was long or the people leaving seemed disgruntled I could always leave. All I needed was a flu shot and a Tdap (the one for adults that are going to be around new babies). I had a 15 minute wait due to a computer IT problem that nurse Alex had. Speaking of Nurse Alex she was superb!! Shots were very quick and I really liked the registration process as it's all done on a computer when you walk up. After that your name is displayed showing where you are in line and there's a way to sign up for a text 30 min before your place in line if there's a wait. It doesn't get any better than that! No cash was needed as I have Aetna insurance. They take it and most others. They also can give you details of coverage, in network/out of network info. Lastly I have to say again how nice nurse Alex was. It's important they are nice especially when you go see her you're likely not to feel well. Anybody that can have here to be your medical care giver is fortunate indeed! I'll go here for my flu shot and minor medical needs any time and you should as well. I hope this helps! read more

Here's me today I take my prescription from my Doctor like I do every month...Lady looks at it we "we don't have this extremely popular medication for pain control." "We have an order out and it will be here Friday." Seriously it's Wednesday and I can only get 30 days worth so I have to do without medication for 2 days? Apparently yes or go to another CVS. So I did one better I went to Walgreens. They filled it in 5 minutes no judgment or questions asked. They just did their job. Something I wish this pharmacy would do. Every month I have had this filled they made me drop off and come back to pick it up. In hindsight I think they wanted to make it as difficult as possible so I would go somewhere else. Wish granted I am moving everything I have to Walgreens where it's clean and I don't need a tetanus shot to sit in the chairs at the Pharmacy!! If you can go to another pharmacy do it I waited way too long with such lousy service!! And I have stellar insurance....their loss!!! read more

Incredible expereince. Our company switched to Caremark for drugs. Doc calls in presccriptions on Friday. Checked Tuesday to pick up. Guy behind counter says I have no prescriptions. Call Doc. Doc calls CVS on Tuesday. CVS said they did not have my date of birth so they discarded docs prescriptions. Doc gives date of birth. CVS tells doc to tell me prescription will be ready Wednesday. Go to store Friday. Get in line to pick up behind 2 others. My turn in line and assisitant says I am in wrong line. My mistake. I go to pick up window. Same guy comes over to pick up window that told me to go there. Incredible. I tell him my name. He asks if I had put prescription on hold. I say no. He says they have no record of me. Only other person behind counter is a woman talking on phone laughing. People are at drive thru. I leave because I am going to say things I should not say. On the way out I ask the guy at the front counter iif there is a manager. He says he is and how can he help. As I start to talk the phone rings and he picks it up and starts talking. If you want an example of the decline in service standards in this country stop by this CVS store. It is like watching a skit on Saturdaay Night Live. read more
