The absolute worst pharmacy that I have ever been to! I pull through to the pickup window at 5:45 am and sit for 15 minutes without being waited on. The vehicle in front of me was waited on but not me. I had to get to work so I couldn't wait any longer. I go back a few days later and pull up to the 2nd pickup lane. After sitting there for a while, someone at the window yells ITS OUT OF ORDER! Is it too hard to put an "out of order sign" up to let people know. Actually took the time to get my dogs information when my vet called in meds. They also weren't rude about my vet being from East KY (I moved from there to here) like Kroger was. Not sure they're my go to yet but I 100% will never use Kroger again. read more

This is, by far, the worst pharmacy I have used in my entire life! It started getting bad years ago so I transferred my prescriptions elsewhere! Recently I had no choice but to go back due to insurance with new job. And, to my surprise, it has gotten even worse! They DO NOT answer their phone...ever! I called every day for a solid week and sat on hold from almost ten minutes up to 35 minutes...and never spoke to a person! I have had doctor's call in medications and four hours later they still aren't filled! I don't think they even start filling prescriptions until you actually show up and then they give you their usual "it will be 20-30 minutes". Wit's that said, the last trip I made there I sat in the drive-through, with four cars in front of me, for exactly 30 minutes (I timed it)...only to be told to come back an hour later! I went home without medicine! I received a text message saying my prescription was ready for pickup at 10:51 pm, THREE HOURS LATER!! I am so sick of the "we're really busy and short staffed" excuse. There service has been horrible for YEARS! Actually around the time that they took over K-Mart's customers! If they couldn't provide their own customers with timely service then why did they take on hundreds more?! Makes no sense! Clearly good service or the well being and comfort of their customers are not a priority. It's the bottom dollar! I'd give anything not to ever have to step foot back on that property! If you don't have high blood pressure when you get there you'll darn sure have it when you leave! Of course you'll leave with no blood pressure medicine! Pathetic! read more

I'm a Walgreens gal, myself. But sometimes, CVS is more convenient. And it's something different. And for some reason, I decided to designate CVS as my pharmacy from the hospital (although at this point I think I've picked up stuff at several different places over the last couple years). This location is nice. It's bright, clean, well-labeled and organized, and priced as any other drugstore would price their items. It's, well, it's CVS. Just a typical drugstore, actually. You'll find staple foods, bathrooms items, birthday cards, trinkets, etc. It's funny to me that Walgreens is across the street. Hmm. I don't have a CVS card or membership of any kind (I'm just so tired of signing up for all these rewards cards everywhere), but its definitely more beneficial to have one if you're a frequent shopper. read more

Absolutely the worse CVS in Kentucky. Rude staff, long hold time on the phone. Long wait lines in the drive thru. Constantly getting your Rx wrong. Incompetent staff at best. Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy. read more

I understand we're living in crazy times but I've never had issues like this with a pharmacy. My prescriptions have been sent to different locations. My husband has been cursed out by an employee and had the door "slammed" in his face all because they forgot to give us our most important prescription. Wait times are awful, drive-thru lanes are insanely backed-up, & people can't get out of their parking spaces. read more

Three different trips to this location and each time there is an issue. The last time was the final straw. Son had surgery and we took the pain medication script in for filling. I was told they did not have enough on hand so they would complete a partial fill and order the remaining amount and we can pick it up on two days later. We had ample medication to last him three days so on the third day we stopped by to pick up the remaining pain medication. The clerk told us they did not have it and we could come back Monday. I made it known that was not a suitable option as my son is in need of his pain medication. He had a tonsillectomy and he was not going without it for two days. I asked for the pharmacy manager. She informed me she was off for a few days and was unsure if the order was actually placed. After listening to their very unprofessional excuses I informed her that I would gladly pick up the difference owed at another CVS. I was told it was against their policy. Nor could any of their staff pick up the shortage and return to their location. I asked why did we not receive a call on Friday, when it was suppose to be ready to inform us that it did not arrive? That question was ignored. Instead, they asked for my sons doctors information and spent several hours trying to reach him. They finally reached him and he had to switch the medication because they didn't have it and two, he was not able to send in an e-script because he was out of town for Easter. Three hours later I picked up a new script that did not agree with my 10 year old. I switched to a different pharmacy and will not ever go back. read more

I had gone to urgent treatment and had a prescription sent to CVS. I stopped using them several years ago when I no longer had insurance. They are higher then other pharmacies in town. Since it was a Sat I had no choice because the other ones I use were closed. I called at 7:30 to make sure my rx was there since the urgent treatment closed at 8. I was on hold for 30 mins and nobody would answer. I had to drive there and when I arrived there were no customers at the pharmacy and one car in the drive-thru. I said it would be nice if you answered the phone. The reply was there is only two of us here. While I waited there was a call that they also ignored. I hope I am never in the position to be forced to use them again. Hopefully they lose enough business that someone in authority notices. read more

Great place to buy random sundry items and to get your meds filled. They actually do have great prices and discounts if you are a CVS Extra Care member. That is a fancy way of saying get a membership card for free so they can track all that you do for marketing research. They strive on having cheap sodas, cereals, vitamins, tooth pastes, and bodywash. These are just a few of the main items they have on sale and with coupons you can get for little to nothing. I would also throw peanut butter and coffee in the mix here, but that is about it. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Everyone that works here will go out of their way to greet you. They also have a photo center and a pharmacy. The photo center will do pictures for passports if you need them. Other than the stuff I mentioned, it is a regular drug store. read more

I like to stop by CVS for a few key items. This time of year they have great stocking stuffers - a much better assortment than the grocery store. They also have a large selection of makeup that I like to peruse. I got the cutest magic trick box there today for $5 and bought some makeup. As an Extra Care member, I got $10 to use the next time I come in because of the makeup I purchased. It's also a great place for movie snacks - not that I sneak movie snacks into theaters :-) read more

We waited in line 15 minutes at the drive-through we were told our prescription wasn't ready we waited 15 more minutes for them to send out the prescriptions that were already available and were told it would still be another 15- minutes I asked to speak to the manager he indicated he was the manager the pharmacist he implied that he would not he not fill our prescription until we moved out of the drive-through and got back in line. That's real customer service they had an hour to get it ready he would not wait on us so we drove off to go get something to eat and is soon as we arrive at the restaurant which is 1 mile away we get a text message that our prescriptions are ready.
