Absolutely horrible costumer service . The pharmacy is not well adequate for their job. For some reason they call there customers liars , when customers reach out for help with a depression medication. Store was told the true issue, and immediately disregarded and manipulated the issue to IMPLY I was lying and abusing a "depression" medication.. horrible service, not helpful at all, and very very disrespectful. CVS pharmacy has lost a customer of 20 years because of the vicious customer service I experienced by front store mgr and register "lady".

Every time I go in to get an Rx they tell me to wait in another line to update my insurance info, it has not changed & that person tells me to go back to pick up line. That's 3 lines!!! Also, they claim they need prior authorization in perscriptions that other pharmacies call fill without it! Frustrating & disappointing. read more

A Blah Visit to Etown CVS: Employee #1 of this tale was cheerful, but inattentive: Today, after I waited in line awhile, I got up to the pharmacy pick-up counter and was first ignored for a moment while two employees figured out a lunch order. I was picking up an antihistamine that doesn't require counting or packing, just handing to me. After establishing that she wanted chicken nuggets, the employee at the register got my details and said one Rx was ready and one not yet. We'll call her Employee #1. She said to come back in 15. I wandered around the store for 30 minutes to give them even longer. Now back to the same counter after waiting in line again, the same employee told me the same thing: one Rx was ready and one not, but "they're working on it." She told me to stay there at the counter while she rang up the customer behind me, which is fine. However, afterward, the employee actually asked the pharmacy staff if my order was ready and.......the product was out of stock all along! Incredulous, I said I will pay for the one Rx that is in. I said I don't want the other one anymore because I've been in the store an hour now and don't want to hang around longer or come back for it. (I live in the sticks and am sick‍.) She didn't say anything at all in reply to that, so idk if it was really cancelled. THAT would have been a great moment to apologize for having me pointlessly wait around for something WITHOUT CHECKING that it was even there first, but this fact was never acknowledged. She noticed that I had some COVID rapid tests also listed with my orders, and I said, yes, I ordered those while I was waiting and got a notification that they are also ready. Are those here? She was unsure and said to maybe go check up front (logical: I got rapid tests at another CVS once and they were front counter pick-up). Though miffed at her lack of effs given for making me wait for nothing, I paid, thanked her, and headed up to the front counter. Employee #2 did it right: The staff up front had no info on my order for rapid tests. (Sounds like a CVS procedure fail.) I showed them my phone with the order details--which also said, "Ready for pick-up"--and a cashier did try to look, but the tests were nowhere. That employee wondered if they could give me a different brand, and I said rapid test orders go through insurance so I'm not sure if they can, but I'm good with whatever they can give me. It turned out I was out of luck. She apologized, and I thanked her and left. And that's how you do it! Wasn't her fault, and she tried to help and solve it. She even paused a conversation about what alcohol she needed to buy after work as soon as I got to the counter (lol), which is professional. I swear I'm like 10% less annoyed by today because she made very basic effort. Maybe I'm cranky because my throat is killing me. But I sure spent over an hour in Etown CVS for nothing. Customer service is an imperfect and dying art. Do it lazily and your location feels like a McDonalds of a pharmacy. Do it well and maybe we try this again. read more

My son had the flu we went to get the pre and they were nice at first and said we had a wait time of 15-20 minutes however when we came back to pick it up the lady told us the price and said to go somewhere else to find it cheaper I was ok with paying the price however she said it would be another 20 minutes so I said ok and she came back and said I cannot give you the medics because of your passport :( I am an us citizen so I didn't understand why I could get the medicine I needed for my son so she gave me the perscription and told me to go somewhere else. read more

A terrible visit tonight. The only drugstore available to fill a Tri-care for life and Medicare prescription at 9pm made me go to Etown. The Walgreen's in Radcliff kindly called it forward for me since I had the spouse in the car coming from Urgent Care gist. Arrived and a very nice lady, the older of the two on duty, the other a very pregnant woman, greeted me took the info and said it would take about 20 minutes. This was about 9:25 or so. I waited and waitded. As I watched I noted neither of the two women were communicating at all. Time marched on until about 9:55 when a young man came in to work and the younger present one left with words of "I just need to lay down." The man began to check the names of those of us waiting and found one customer's items ready, then said he would work on mine. He then answered the drive-thru, serviced a man who walked up to pick up an order, then helped a passing customer find something down the aisle as I continued to wait. It was not until 10:25 he advised me one item would cost $50. I said I don't care she needs it! He picked the items checked me out asking how long I had been waiting. He then apologized for the wait. Folks CVS has an interpersonal problem between those two women that interfered with giving even the lowest level of customer support. If the young woman can't keep up she should be replaced, and the older one needs some management trying. I finally left the store at 10:30. The longest twenty minutes in my life! read more

Went there with my daughter with an antibiotics prescription, directly from the emergency room. The female pharmacist was surly, told us it would be an hour. When we returned an hour later, the Rx had not been filled and the pharmacist railed about how busy she was and that she had no assistant. I requested the written Rx, and she tossed it at me. Seriously, if my daughter hadn't been so ill, I would have talked to the manager! I drove to Radcliff and the Rx was immediately filled at ApotheCARE. Convenient that they accept tricare, but I would advise every tricare patient to go to Apothecare in Radcliff! read more
