A week later I have no meds and suffering withdrawal symptoms. Called and ask only to be told that they waited until late Friday. They gave the wrong address to FedEx. Even when I called them and corrected them again on the address, they told me they would fix it with FedEx. They never did! My mom had to give them the address again and ask for tracking number. When we got ahold of FedEx, Walmart never bothered to update them. My doctor can't help because the meds are shipped. I suffer from thyroid, allergies and extreme anxiety. Thanks Walmart.

For my first appointment, the staff was friendly and though there was a bit of a line for vaccinations, they got me through in 5 minutes. For my second appointment, they were nearly empty. There was no line, and I quickly made it to the back where I got to listen to pharmacist Lisa and her previous vaccination patient complain for 5 minutes about COVID, New York State, and frustratingly ironically, about people getting paid to not work. She talked about her past in Arizona, and about how she's only in New York because of her parents, and that she's going to be moving to Tennessee after they're gone. Eventually, I asked another pharmacist behind the glass if there was someone else who could help me, because the conservative ranting was not winding down. It was at this point that she interrupted Lisa, who then ended the conversation and finally administered my vaccine. Sorry to ruin your fun of getting paid to not work, Lisa. As I waited the requisite 15 minutes after both shots, I had the chance to browse the store. Everything sure is more expensive here. Though all the staff (except Lisa) was friendly and professional, I would not recommend this CVS.

Joe in the pharmacy went above and beyond to help me fill a prescription. I was driving into town without a needed prescription and called from the road to get a small supply locally. I thought it would be easy (since the prescription was on file with CVS Caremark), but Joe jumped through a LOT of hoops to transfer it over and get it filled (including repeatedly losing contact with me as I drove through no service zones during a thunderstorm), all in the last 45 minutes of his day. Above and beyond service. (And the person who checked me out at the register was very kind and nice as well!)

Pleasantly surprised that there is a CVS presence in Penn Yan where we had recently moved.
