Arrive sick, get medicine, feel better the next day ... March, 2023 Visit For spring break we visited Corpus Christi, to enjoy a bit of sun and relaxation, and we enjoyed the trip. Our daughter had a bit of a cold the previous week and was better days before we departed. We didn't realize she had developed an ear infection until her ear wouldn't pop on the flight, so shortly after we landed we visited CVS. This CVS was the closest one with the Minute Clinic open on a Sunday morning/ We arrived and signed in and received a mid-afternoon appointment. Thankfully another visit didn't show so we got in quicker than expected. Nurses Chrissy and Bina were quite helpful. They confirmed and ear infection and prescribed medicine for that and a couple other symptoms. Chrissy and Bina were helpful and attentive! Our daughter was better the next day and much better two days later and almost fully better the third day... and she still completed all the medicine to be fully healed. I went through the drive thru and I had to go into CVS to use my Gold RX discount card. They wouldn't let me use it unless I went in. Then they took it and I couldn't pay until my discount card went through whatever that means ...I had to get in line to pay and wait for my discount to go through. This has never ever happened to me in all the years i've gotten prescriptions at CVS using the Gold RX card. This didn't even make sense. So I'm prescribed Amlodapine Besylate 10 mg, and for the past 90 days that's what I thought I was taking. That's what it said on the label. Then I get a refill and the pills different so I look them both up online. Turns out for 90 days I've been taking 5 mg that they put in a labeled 10 mg bottle . She was yelling INCORRECT store policy AND legal information while being rude and dismissive. Why is this woman anywhere near a CVS? I will not go back to subject myself to such a vile experience. I've tried calling this pharmacy on multiple occasions and have never been able to get through to speak with the pharmacy. Several times I have waited on hold for over an hour and a half and no one ever picks up. I do not believe that they are so busy they can't answer a phone call in 90 minutes. Terrible. Too bad there are virtually no other options when it comes to pharmacies (can't use Walgreens bc my insurance doesn't work with them). I hope someone from CVS pharmacy sees this review & makes some changes for their customers. read more

Starting with walking in the front door. There was a gallon of milk that was in the ground and milk was running across the doorway to where it had to be stepped over. I told the employee when I walked in and he said "yeah, someone dropped it". Well that was obvious but I guess he didn't want to pick it up. The bathroom was large but not a single hook to hang a bag in the ladies restroom. I hung it on the door handle (b cause I refuse to put it on the floor in the bathroom) then I noticed there was no toilet paper so luckily, I had kl energy in my purse so I grabbed that. Next, I look down at the toilet and debated, it was nasty. I really had to go so I hovered like my life depended on it. Next, I asked the pharmacist for a specific product sold in that department and showed him the picture from their own website. He walked out (I thought he was going to help me find it) and he proceeded to point to an aisle and tell me what we have is there" Nonetheless I left without my item. read more

Cvs Pharmacy has the rudest lady working for them . Around 1 am this morning we asked for help regarding prescription information. Not only did she lie, saying she couldn't call to ask the clinic about switching some medication, the doctor himself said she could have called, she was just to lazy to do so, she would barley even look at my father to speak to him and was so short and rude . Pharmacy is ridiculous. Dropped off a prescription and came back hours later for pickup and it wasn't ready. I could certainly understand an unexpected rush for them, but when I explained I was needing to be on a plane in a little over an hour, they insisted I come inside and wait 20 minutes. Still a 1/2 hour later and no sign of my prescription being ready.... Update: Was contacted by corporate CVS and local CVS and while I am not going to be a returning customer, I do appreciate that they attempted to reach out to rectify the situation. read more

Worst pharmacy!! I have been going to them for years and never again! TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE. Literally NO STARS . Worst experience of my LIFE. Do not go here and expect customer service. Waited hours for my meds just to get attitude thrown at me. Had the pharmacy lady being so rude to me and arguing with me before even being able to tell her what the problem was. I showed her my phone for my good rx coupons and she straight up said "Oh no. I am not going to even look at that, I don't have time for that." Then she was saying loud rude comments to the whole pharmacy staff because I chose to wait for my prescriptions instead of going home and coming back. She yelled from the back to "go shop or something" when I was on my phone just minding my business. All the pharmacy staff was just laughing and going along including the supervisors. How sad to think that's a way to treat someone who is sick just wants their meds and to go on with their day. read more

I just moved to Texas and wanted to get my prescription switched to this CVS pharmacy. I went in the first time and the pharmacy tech who helped me was nice and told me they'd give my old Walgreens a call to get my prescription transferred. A week later, I called to fill the prescription and the pharmacist said they didn't have it, so I asked again for them to call my old pharmacy. Two days later, I called to check in and they said that it would just be easier for me to call the Walgreens and get it switched to a Walgreens here so they didn't have to wait on hold on the phone. Completely ridiculous. I called my old Walgreens to see if anyone from this CVS had contacted them and they said nope, hadn't heard from anyone. So I went to HEB and they called my old Walgreens and had my prescription filled within two hours. This CVS was the worst pharmacy experience I've had, and they made it so much more difficult than it ever needed to be. Will never go back. What pharmacy would tell a customer to go to another store and lose business?? Makes no sense. read more
