The gas prices were decent enough, and the station was laid out in an organized fashion and was clean. What struck me most was the convenience store here (Maplefields). It was quite large, immaculate inside, with a huge assortment of fresh foods (sandwiches, baked items, salads) and beverages. I thought to myself, if I had to use the washroom (which, thankfully, I didn't, I wouldn't hesitate about asking to use the bathroom here. Note that I usually avoid gas station bathrooms LIKE THE PLAGUE. But here, the store was so clean and orderly, I'd use the washroom in a heartbeat if needed). I saw some beautifully packaged Vermont maple syrup on sale for a super price, and I got a few for gifts for friends back in Seattle, along with some fresh foods for the road for the kiddies and excellent coffee for myself. What a great place!

That being said, this is the original and smaller of their two stores in Burlington. I needed two varieties dried chili peppers, common to find in New York City, and had checked out a variety of other stores, finding Pasilla at the larger City Market Flynn Avenue shop. They didn't have the missing one I needed, Costeno, they did have something that worked as a substitute. They seem to have many more dried mushroom items than dried chili peppers. My main issue with this location is the amount of parking. It's tight.

I was warned that it was expensive but I didn't really think it was that bad and was curious about it being a co-op store. I was able to get everything to make an Italian pasta dinner with Marinara. It was so nice to be able to have a homemade dinner in our suite. That's the thing about traveling is you get so weary of eating out every meal. This place was a great little grocery store just off the main strip of the Burlington downtown.

Today January 10th 2020 at around 6 a.m. I went to purchase coffee again before I went to work and he locked the door on me once again with customers outside waiting to get in and I do have video footage of everything. My girlfriend went back in the store because as soon don seen me leave he unlock the store and told my girlfriend she couldnt purchase any coffee. He stood by all the coffee pots and machines and told her to get out in a very rude manner and I believe he put her his hands on her to push her out the store and I told her to call the cops and I have went to the store today to show the store manager the video of him hiding all the coffee pots and kind of being very rude and she has came to the conclusion that when he's working there in the morning that she would ask that I just not go there in the morning but I can go there whenever I want when there are different employees working. I also explained to her it made me feel very uncomfortable and very rude of him to accuse me of being a thief which I have never stolen anything from that store and I told her to go over her video footage and that if she finds anything that I would gladly give him my whole paycheck I work 50 hours a week in Williston and I work very hard for my cash and it was very very rude of him to call me a thief and a friend of mine's is telling me I can look into some legal matters about this situation.
