Everything in the store was behind locked glass! The pharmacy lines were extremely long. Yes lines! You could not access anything behind the glass and the person with the key had to be rang for and they took forever to get to you and anyone else who buzzed for them! If there is they much thievery going in this store needs to hire 2 security guards to be on duty at all times and there needs to be 2 key holders or runners separate from cashiers and there needs to be 4 pharmacy workers as they are stretched thin as well and there needs to be 4 cashiers at all times. It is ridiculous how this store is running in a skeleton crew with as busy as it is. The owner needs to stop being cheap and hire more employees for this location or shut it down! It is the worse location for business but in a busy location to have foot traffic and has potential to make a lot of money based on its location. The manager of the pharmacy is so unprofessional. After I told her I was unaware of my copay for a half filled medication bottle she belittled me saying " that something we can't void, come on" she then try to belittle me by rolling her eyes and looking away while speaking to me. Once I got upset about the unprofessionalism I was told I was not going to get my medication at all and when I asked to speak to a manager she stated she was the manager. She then proceeded to talk amongst her staff stating that I'm stupid and I have no common sense. Very very unprofessional I feel disgusted that this is our local CVS pharmacy. I went to drop off a package to return as per the site said that they were a drop off. Once I got there the young woman was rude and said we don't do that we haven't done that a year ago. I explained to her well your website says you offer this service, you still appear like a provider. I hardly go in there because of that . they are rude. slow. Not only the front but also in the pharmacy. I wouldn't tell ppl to use that cvs. They are all slow and most need more workers because they workers might feel over worked but that doesn't give you the right to be rude to customers. This cvs is the worst I've ever been to. The pharmacy is always crowded, but there's multiple people behind the counter. It always takes them each like 10-15 minutes with each customer. There needs to be better processes and an updated workflow, so customers are in and out in a faster manner. Highly suggest that some training needs to take place so they know where to look for people's medication when they get to the counter. Additionally no one answers the phone. If someone would answer, it would save customer's some time and the pharmacy workers time so people are not wasting their time standing in line for medication that's not even ready to be picked up. Honestly do better. Truly hopes management, corporate or someone with actual power to make change sees this. Worse CVS store all over. First of all the people in pharmacy work at speed level and have time to talk and ignore customers. I phone in a refill and went over at 6:00 after work and the line was so long as they only had one cashier then I get to the cashier and he said, during his texting, that there was no prescription when I received a confirmation there it was fulfilled. I have shopped here for years but some of the changes make me go to rite aide .I am insulted that they have a pad lock on the freezer. I shop there because I like the beauty bucks but I am finding other Cvs's to go to and Walgreens. I always liked this one because it was in my area. I am also not pleased with the pharmacy and how they intake and rotate prescriptions. I like rite aides system better even though I have to walk out of my way. As i decided to review this CVS i had to think of the other workers. One because they are all nice except for the unprofessional aggresive Lee. I was approach by him when i was waiting on a customer check out line. Please note i have been coming to this CVS for 8 years plus and never did i even get approach or disrespected like i did when this Lee address me. Confronting me with an attitude, aggresive tone and Intimidating body language. I was disgusted. He wanted to know if i waited on the line when i was approaching the counter. I answered him by saying yes. I was waiting on the line. The customers that were on line which i knew a few was also taken back with his aggresive tone. He told me just answer his question because he was trying to be nice. Now i don't know what he meant by that but it was said to me as if he was holding himself back on what he would have told me. I don't usually write reviews but i was force to write this one. I had to let this experience out. I do not think Lee should be working with people or animals. His body language, choice of words and attitude should be adjusted. If the manager reads this review please explain to Lee the right and wrong way to approach customers. Most CVS have poor customer service, that even resulted to me writing corporate a letter. This CVS store is small and wasn't well stock. There were no cashiers and everyone had to use the self check-out. The bags were not on the rack and the recording kept saying "Please place item in the bag" it was annoying that the security guard had to go get bag which made me hold up the long line. The manager of that evening was no help as he kept telling everyone I can't help you, go to self check out. Clearly I wont be back here, and its right up the street from where I live. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy I've ever been to. It's huge with multiple people on staff yet everything goes extremely slow & NO ONE answers the phone... ever! I've tried getting a hold of them for 4 days to inform them about reprocessing an approved medication & have had no success. I'm disappointed that this cvs doesn't have Apple Pay. I asked an associate ( possibly a manager ) if they had Apple Pay, he said no. I glanced at the cashier and yes they do. And there was a huge line for the self checkout machines.. by huge line I mean that it went across the whole front and down one aisle. Are you kidding me? Very bad communication. There is a phone number attached to each person's medication that they never seem to use to inform the patient if something is wrong with the medication being filled. You find out when you get there that there's an issue instead of them reaching out to you. Then after standing on a long line they then divert you to another long line. read more

This CVS needs a serious makeover! The layout is ridiculous and it makes no sense at all. I've circled aisles quite a few times just to find simple things like travel size toiletries. The self checkout area is a mess and it seems like no one works here. I don't normally write reviews, especially negative reviews. However, I feel compelled to write a negative review of the pharmacy at CVS located at 732 Allerton Ave. If i could rate them lower than one star I would in a heart beat. Recently, I took time from work to pick up a few prescriptions. With the price of medications being so expensive, I used my Good Rx app to get some coupons. The pharmacist who was "assisting" me seemed to become frustrated because I had coupons which would have lowered the price of my prescription lower than what she found. She outright told me to pick any coupon because she didn't have time to work with me and the coupons i presented. After being told that, I became frustrated and angry. I decided to walk out before I turned into Ken and start demanding to speak with her boss, I also had to get to work and did not have the time to make a personal complaint. When I called in the evening, i was on hold for 30 minutes, I ended up hanging up. I have decided I will not use this CVS or any other to fill my prescriptions. Good thing there is a Walgreen's up the street. I hope they will take better care of me as a customer. read more

happen to be in the area, where i grew up in ,some good memories. once stood the old allerton movie theater. however now its a nightmare,this place is a mess. so much misplaced items, its a shame cause its in a good location. the only saving grace is that the rear of the store pharmacy looks organized. i did not notice any workers around ,just the one guy who watched people use the automated check out machine(these machines always seem to break down all the time) cant believe no more cashier,unless someone has trouble with those annoying check out machines.overall they need to get a better system and some organization. listen i am aware when something is on sale its a good deal, but people for the most part like a store to be clean, organized and have an helpful staff,otherwise who cares how cheap toilet paper and bubblebee tuna is. p.s. i dont drink red bull, but there is an lock on the fridge ,damn had no clue there were many red bull junkies read more
