The service is horrible, there's only one girl in the pharmacy department who's always nice. I prefer to just wait for my prescriptions rather than make a second trip, and I always get the same response from the person at the drop off window in the store "well let me check if we have it in stock" "ok we have it in stock, but uh you're gonna have to wait 45 minutes to an hour. Ok?" and they way they say it comes off like it's annoying for me to wait there. The few times this one particular girl is there, she gets me in and out in about 10 minutes. It's no like they have to count the individual pills for my script, cause it's always a full original bottle from the manufacture. read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Never going there again. When I confronted the manager about it she didn't do anything about the incident. My friend shortly experienced the same problem and told me about it a few days after. read more

I went to pick up my father's medication and they gave me medication for another man who had diabetes. So, my father who needed serious medication for other things took medicine for diabetes!! When on the phone with the manager she did not care and it was my fault because the lady at the store does not remember if we confirmed a birthday!! WHEN I DID!!!? read more

The service is horrible, they always have an excuse, automated system didn't put your prescription through, your doctor didn't call or didn't answer when we called, we never received fax from your doctor! (loved the last one, left them speechless when I showed them the fax confirmations from my doctor!) In other words if you don't need your prescription filled for a week or three from when you give it to them, they would be ok to work with! read more

I went to the pharmacy in Bridgeview and the pharmacist told me that because I had public aid she had to call the doctor to verify the prescription. I told her that the doctor who prescribed the medicine to my son was in the ER and she was a resident doctor who didn't have a direct line and then she sighed and made me wait for 5 minutes or so while she looked it up. Then I told her to just give me the prescription back and then i went to Walgreens across the street. They filled it with no problem. This was a bad experience, made me feel like I was bullied for being on public aid. She doesn't know my full story, doesn't know my son either, doesn't know our situation so shouldn't have judged me. I would like to tell her that she hurt my feelings that day and wasted my time. We shouldn't allow people to bother us but I just felt like a lower class citizen and she was just a mean person getting off on whatever power she judged she had. read more

I personally believe the prices are way over priced, so I stopped going there! The staff wasn't the greatest.. Very slow and unwelcoming.

I had to pick up a prescription as I was passing through the area. A wonderful young woman helped me. She was kind and answered my questions. It is so nice to see people who maintained their humanity regardless of the busyness of life. Wonderful pharmacy, great staff, thank you! read more

FILL YOUR SCRIPTS ELSEWHERE!! When Walgreens had problems keeping a regular med of mine in stock, I switched to CVS at 87 & Harlem 2 mos. ago. For 15 yrs. I take a federally regulated drug & current dosage since 2014. In the AM on Friday, hubby drops this script off & returns at 5 pm to pick it up. LINA OTHMAN, "managing" pharmacist says she hasn't filled it & is waiting for my Dr. to call. She believes my dosage doesn't "meet" the manufacturers "recommended" dosage. I am at dinner w/friends & hubby calls. I call Ms. OTHMAN & ask her to explain the problem. She literally begins "interrogating" me; why I take the med, for how long, etc. Then explains the dosage is too high, DEA is monitoring them, and Pharmacists are required by law to monitor patients who take controlled substances and the doctors who prescribe them. Though out her one-sided interrogation, I am speechless. Finally, I tell her I've been on the med for 15 years, and the same dosage for several years. She insists I've filled the script "many times" at CVS, and she should've "flagged" it before. I attempt to interupt & tell her this was the 2nd time CVS filled that script, but she continues to lecture me. When I am able to redress, I ask, "How is this issue within a pharmacist's authority to question?" She repeats the DEA regulations that mandate Pharmacists monitor the drugs patients take, the dosages, the doctors who prescribe them. "I won't fill this until I talk to your dr, and even then, I might not fill it." Ms. OTHMAN evidently believes me to be an uneducated drug seeking crackhead read more
