I am immediately switching pharmacies after I'm finished writing this. I have not had a SINGLE positive experience with this pharmacy ever since I had the incredible misfortune of switching to it months ago. If you call, expect to waste at least 30 minutes on average waiting for someone in the pharmacy to pick up, as you can and will NOT get anything done using the robot. If you manage to survive that and order medicine refills make sure you do so AT LEAST two weeks in advance, because they are always ALWAYS out of stock for some reason. If you manage to survive THAT and visit the pharmacy to actually GET your medicine, expect to wait in a line of 5+ cars in the drive through, or 8+ people indoors, for about an HOUR as the ONE poor underpaid soul running both the indoor pharmacy AND THE DRIVE THROUGH tries their best to survive the day themselves. I was insane to wait until today to switch, and yet, there I was, scheduling an appointment for a vaccination this afternoon, and I showed up fifteen minutes early--y'know, in case there was a LINE--and I walked inside to see about a DOZEN people waiting for the pharmacy as the two people running it (this was a GOOD day for them) tried their best to help. Thankfully there was a QR code I could scan with my phone to check in--but it didnt work. Figures. There are two signs above the counter: one says "Appointment check in", the other says "Pick up". Fortunately the "Appointment check in" line was empty, so I stood there and was blatantly ignored by the staff for about five minutes as they and the people in the other line glared at me until I said enough was enough and went to the "Consultation" counter to try asking what was up. From there I was snarkily told by one of the techs there that apparently there WASN'T a separate line for appointments, and I had to wait in the back of the UNMOVING line of twelve people in order to check in for my vaccines. Embarassing, sure, but it was my mistake admittedly, so I went to the other side of the store to where the end of the line was and waited in line. And waited. And waited. And then I was at the front and immediately told by the staff that since I was TWENTY MINUTES LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT that they couldn't see me, and that I should have shown up earlier, or checked in using the QR code that DIDN'T WORK. TWENTY MINUTES LATE BECAUSE I WAS WAITING IN LINE THAT ENTIRE TIME. Now the worst part is that this review is likely going to be skimmed by some PR rep AI and get some knee-jerk response and nothing will actually change with this pharmacy. Or it'll get deleted. Either way, thanks for reading. Never go here.

As far as grocery stores go, this one is OK. I feel kind of bad for anyone who lives in Decatur…read morebecause Kroger is your only true option (beyond Wal-Mart and Target) and it's only so-so. First of all, the parking lot is really messed up! Where does it end? At the bank ATM, I guess? During normal times of the year it's confusing enough, but a few days before Christmas it's even more of a cluster. The grocery store itself is "meh". The produce selection is mediocre and doesn't really appear to be terribly fresh. Granted, I'm used to larger city grocery store selections and the occasional farmers' market. In comparison, Kroger just doesn't make the grade. Finally, the employees are generally pretty nice. Much nicer than one might expect. They usually ask how you are and if you prefer paper or plastic, something you don't always hear at other grocery stores. But it's not enough to keep me coming back for more. Unfortunately, due to lack of options this is the only grocery store where my parents shop.

I went to Kroger in the past, but the service in the pharmacy as gone downhill and it is not friendly at all. So Im glad I gave this Walgreens a chance as you see some cool stuff on sale as well. So I recommend this Walgreens and I got my flu shot again this year with no issues.........I was here last year in 23 as Kroger forgot to tell me they were out of flu shots despite an online appointment. So again I went online filled out what I needed and it was quick and fast and Im pleased. Again Kudos and Iam good on my flu shot for another year
