Anyway once again went to Main St Barbers and they don't let me down. Nicole is usually who I get my haircut from I think once it is was someone else and she did a good job. Nicole as always did not disappoint. I asked her about doing layers and face frame and she did it and I asked a little more and she absolutely did it perfectly. There is nobody else I will go to except here.

The area for pedicures is tucked in the back away from the entrance. It was nicely decorated and warm inside. No harsh chemical smells like most nail salons Tina was gentle on my feet and did a great scrub and I felt much of my dead skin dissappear. I'm picky about the salons and spas I go to and I had a wonderful warm and comfortable experience here. Lots of free parking next to the spa.

sparta location- I came in to get blonde highlights I…read morediscussed in detail with my stylist that I wanted bright bold blonde highlights that were very noticeable. She fully agreed. when she put my toner on she then went outside for a smoke break, which was marijuana and not cigarettes. She left my toner on for too long and I was now a full brunette. she told me it looked great and I would get used to it. I was not happy so I came back the following morning to have my hair re-bleached. while waiting for the salon to open, I watched her again smoked marijuana before starting her shift. my hair lightened slightly, but still nowhere near what I wanted. I was left with hair that was brittle and broken from being bleached twice in less than 24 hours and was out $300. I'm not sure if the owners know that their employees are doing drugs while their clients are sitting in the chair.

I've visited two locations and wanted to share my experience. At the Newton location, the stylist…read morewho worked on my hair was kind and professional; however, some surrounding staff behavior was uncomfortable. One staff member was openly making fun of other clients, which was noticeable and created an awkward atmosphere. It was clear this also caused discomfort for the stylist working with me. I later tried the Sparta location and had a different experience. The stylist was quite rough while brushing my hair after coloring, which was uncomfortable. Additionally, the pricing felt high given that services were billed by the hour. While I appreciate attention to detail, the extended time spent did not feel proportionate to the service provided, especially compared to other salons I've visited outside of Sussex county.

Well Colleen had cut my hair quite a few times when she worked at Buzz Cuts. So when my wife was running late for her appointment because of being stuck in traffic I made the phone call for her to cancel with Colleen. But I figured why waste the cancellation, I took her spot and got the trim. As always Colleen does a terrific job. I know how particular women can be about getting their hair done. Once they find the right hairdresser, it's like a match made in heaven. They're even willing to travel for that cut and color. Us men, we are not that concerned. So long as it looks decent we're happy. I'm glad to have re-connected with Colleen, as I said she does a great job and the conversation is always enlightening. See ya in a few months!

Not only is dining hugely disappointing, but I've tried quite a few hairdressers and I've left so utterly disheartened. Salon Fig was such a positive experience. My hairdresser, Ava was a delight. She was easy to talk to and truly listened to me. Together, we came up with a plan for my hair. I valued her input as she explained each step of her process. Sometimes, hairdressers can be jarringly rough with shampooing but Ava made sure the water temp was comfortable and massaged my head with just the right amount of pressure. The hot towel treatment after was heavenly. I'm happy to say my curls are back and well defined, unlike my last hair experience, where the hairdresser blew my hair out straight despite me sharing a photo of a curly hair style. After my hairstyling, I purchased small quantities of the products used. I've started using them and I'm very pleased. Salon Fig is not inexpensive, but I will definitely return. I'm pleased beyond belief.
