BEYOND disappointed with this salon and how I was treated…read more This hair appointment was actually a Mother's Day gift from my husband, which makes this experience even more upsetting. When I called to schedule my appointment, I specifically asked if it was okay to bring my two daughters with me. The employee on the phone told me that it would be fine. The morning of my appointment, I received a reminder text stating that children were not allowed in the salon. I immediately called and spoke with the manager, who told me that if someone had already approved it, then it was okay. I was able to find childcare for my oldest daughter, but I had to bring my baby with me. (My baby is exclusively breastfed so I can't leave her with someone). My baby sat quietly in her stroller for the first half of the appointment and in my lap for the second half. She was extremely well-behaved and did not cry the entire time. When I got home and looked at my hair in better lighting, I noticed multiple dark spots and uneven areas in my roots. I contacted the salon to have the issue corrected, and after scheduling a correction appointment, I received a text saying that Adrienne would not feel comfortable fixing my hair if I brought my children with me. So, they expected me to pay for childcare again in order to come back and have THEIR error corrected. I called the manager and explained that I should not have to arrange and pay for childcare because my hair was done incorrectly. Instead of taking accountability, she actually suggested that my baby was the reason my hair was messed up, which I find completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The conversation ended with the manager telling me they would only fix my hair once I found childcare, and then she hung up on me. Not only was my hair poorly done, but the way this situation was handled afterward was even worse. Rather than offering proper customer service or making things right, I was blamed and inconvenienced for a mistake I did not make. I will now have to spend additional time and money going to another salon to fix my hair. Very disappointing experience overall. As a military spouse, it is not easy finding childcare and this salon made me feel like my baby was such an inconvenience for them. EDIT: The last photo was taken by another hair stylist that I just saw to fix my hair. This was Bella Vita's "finished product" that I paid $220 for. I can't believe how much hair she missed and she charged me for a full color when she barely did half my hair. Don't waste your time and money going to Bella Vita!

I showed a clear reference photo and explained exactly how I wanted my hair cut, but the stylist didn't seem to listen at all. The cut I received was uneven, and nothing like what I described. What made it worse was that the stylist seemed rushed, even though the shop wasn't busy. There was no attention to detail, and I felt like they just wanted to get me out of the chair as quickly as possible. I left the salon feeling embarrassed and immediately had to look for another place to fix it. For the stress it caused, this was a really disappointing experience. I definitely won't be coming back to this location.

I've been looking for a hair salon for myself since my family moved here recently. Number one, I was not even met with a friendly greeting when I walked in the door. A woman who was cutting a lady's hair looked up and said, "can I help you". I told her we had an appointment. She just nodded. My son and I sat down on the couch, and waited. There didn't seem to be anyone else there. Finally, a couple of people came downstairs and a young lady called my son. Two minutes later, she was washing his hair, and cutting it. She asked me how short we wanted it, I told her, I wanted it short and neat on the sides and back, but my son liked to keep the front longer. She just shook her head, like she didn't like what I was saying. She ended up cutting the back and sides rather long and textured and edgy looking. I just looked at her, and said "that's not going to work". It needs to be cleaned up. I want it neat and cleaned up shorter in the back, over his ears and on the sides. She seemed rather upset with that comment. She barely said ten words to me the entire time I was there! She quickly cut the back shorter, and cut it over his ears, and took the cape off him. Then she didn't even dry my son's hair at all before sending us out into the cold. AND he left there covered in hair. She never even offered to brush him off. I had put her out so much, not letting her give my 12 year old some edgy hairstyle. I just wanted out of there. Overall, the salon looked and smelled okay, but the place was dusty and the floor was covered with hair...I know its a hair salon, but hair was on the floor, ALL OVER the rug in the waiting area...thick layers of hair. It just didn't seem like the salon was clean. And it was not busy, so there was plenty of time to get those floors cleaned up. The thing is, she may have only been cutting my son's hair today, but in actuality, I am shopping for a salon for me as well! I get my hair cut and highlighted regularly. I spend a lot of money on my hair. She may have thought this customer was one she didn't need, but she lost me as a customer as well. As you can see, I am going to tell anyone I can about my experience. I will look elsewhere for a nice hair salon in the Leavenworth area. I suggest you do the same.
