When I stopped trusting my mom cutting my toddler's hair because it was getting more awkward after every session, we decided to bring her to Cuts 4 Tots as recommended by a hardcore mother neighbor with 3 growing kids. So, we took her word for it. Normally, I never go to salons thinking it's a waste of good time and cash for vanity. I hate people touching my hair and wasting good beer money on a damn haircut I could have done myself. Anyway, we brought my kid here and it was full on a weekend. The space was quite cramped so instead of waiting inside and trying to play with the lacking toys laid out for the children to play with, we walked around the mall until it was her turn. A kid's haircut can be pretty pricey and at first I felt cheated. But with the little brats that the hairdressers have to deal with everyday, I felt better losing Php300 for my kids loss of hair. When it was my daughter's turn, she sat dutifully on the chair that was shaped like an airplane and enjoyed the movie playing in front of her (they have individual television sets per seat). She got her hair cut without any trouble at all and followed all the instructions of the hairdresser ("tilt your head a bit, look right, look left"). We chose an adorable apple cut and she looked so good after that even she knew. She was so happy that she modeled in front of the mirror and had a new sense of confidence on the way home. read more
