I have tried different shops and they were decent but not the quality I been looking for. Randomly one Saturday I was dropping off a package at UPS just to see that there was a barber shop next door. I'm usually not a walk in kind of guy but I was like "f*** it". I must say they didn't disappoint, the fade was clean and definitely fresh me up. They do appointments and I'll gladly go back. I didn't get the name of the gentleman but it was the second seat on the right. Only thing I would say is if you're in a rush maybe talk to the barber about the time because I was in there for a good hour but hey what else did I have plan for the day anyways, nothing so no big deal for me ‍

I had been to this barbershop before and received an 'acceptable' haircut, so since it's location was so convenient and time was of the essence I decided to give it another try. There are apparently two guys that are barbers, the younger of the two gave me my cut last time, and even though it was slightly crooked it was ok. This time the older guy did his 'magic'. He looked as if he had about 40 years experience so I figured he knew what he was doing. I walked in with about a month of hair and explained (what I thought was pretty explicitly) what I wanted. Since I generally don't deviate too much w/ my hair I showed him what I had and explained how I wanted it shorter etc. With the first strike of the clippers it was obvious I wasn't going to end up with what I wanted as evidenced by the HUGE chunk on the floor! I couldn't tell if he was trying to play it off, or he genuinely thought he was giving me what I asked for. He just kept hacking away. When it was all said and done I just told him to take the clippers to it and salvage what I had left. Even that was a challenge. When he showed me the finished product w/ the mirrors, I think my face was an obvious indication that I was not happy. The only thing he could muster was 'Well it can't get any shorter unless you want to shave it'... I thought to myself 'you jack@ss I asked for a medium fade, that does not mean i wanted it that short to begin with, I only asked for it shorter to try and salvage your hack job', what I said was 'that looks fine, thank you'. Anyway, If you don't give a crap about your hair then this place is probably fine, especially if the location is convenient for you. If you are a little particular about it then I'd suggest someplace else.
