My only complaint is the fact that they sell more acrylic pieces then anything and glass or metal makes for way better jewelry.

To Have & To Hold is such a special little boutique in downtown Georgetown. The shop was filled with unique gifts for every occasion...weddings, baby showers, birthdays, holidays, and many other occasions. We met Dixie, the owner, and she is the quintessential Texas woman. You might also say she's a little fireball meant in the most complimentary way. She was Texas friendly on steroids. She greeted us and asked us questions to get to know us better. Then she offered us a sample of the spicey margarita. It was served in a thimble size cup, but very potent. By the way, for those who live in Georgetown, Dixie said she has a new drink sample every week. The store has a welcoming, charming atmosphere. At this juncture, I did not plan to spend another dime in Georgetown and after our lengthy stay, I was ready to exit stage left. Well Dixie had other plans. She told us this spicey margarita mix, which was sold in her boutique, could me made in the bag with only three ingredients. OK...she sparked out attention. After her soft sell pitch, my friend and I both purchased a drink mix. I purchased the spicey margarita mix and she purchased the lemon drop mixture. Prices were comparable to other similar stores. The one thing I miss the most is Dragon Tails! We were always able to find nice items for me and my adult daughters in our Small, Medium, and Large sizes. Too, for our three grandkids we could find toys, book, clothing and shoes. We were always able to shop with my grandkids in the store. The ladies there are so sweet, and would carry on conversation with my grandson while we shopped. I am going to tell you what is different about this store. Most stores in the Tyler area buy your clothes from you. I do not like that. Those clothes and shoe selections are worn and too high for what they are asking. Dragon Tails is a consignment, and the prices for what I am buying are always better than these other stores. I found them when I came to Burnet when we were there at the square downtown for Christmas, that was in 2022. Since, I have never found a store so organized, great choices, clean clothes that still look great, with exceptional prices. I would give anything to have the owner start up a store in Tyler, Texas. I feel so deprived now because I can't get down there to shop like I used to. The one star someone gave this store, from a customer that was a regular, how sad. I am usually a Nautica fan, but they closed their store at the outlet. This store's customer service was great, respectful, and they proudly support the military whether you're active duty or a veteran. You will see their star symbol sticker as you walk in through the front door. Their customer service was cool, because they I asked if they had anymore classic fit pants size in the back that were my size and they went back and checked for me super fast. They offer a rewards program like any other store and would recommend if you shop here a lot or if you do a big buy like I do once every three to four years. LoL
