Hello, I first met Debra when in 2021 while I was working as a bartender in a restaurant in Redding and she had asked me to bartend one of her upcoming Christmas parties. She was very back and forth with the amount that she was going to pay me so I was naturally hesitant about the job. Within a couple days of the Christmas party I informed her that I wasn't going to be able to work for her and she was immediately extremely verbally abusive and threatening towards me. I will not repeat what she said to me on this website but if it comes to fruition I still have the messages saved for my safety. With that being said, since then she has came into my work multiple times now and at this moment is creating a super hostile work environment for me. This is an ongoing situation with my workplace and I hope it gets resolved soon. Hands down this is one of the worst human beings I have ever encountered in my life and would strongly advise staying away from. 0/10 read more

The owner Debra is unprofessional and bipolar. She will threaten to withhold your paychecks and try and black mail you. She has cursed at my boyfriend over the phone and in person. Custom Personnel conveniently is always out of town on Friday's when you are suppose to get paid. They have their hours of operation posted and what time they take their lunch and they STILL will have notes on their door throughout the week saying "they are on lunch" and won't be back until 5pm when they close. This makes picking up your paycheck impossible so if you have bills that need to be paid DO NOT rely on this company because they do not pay you when they say they will. Amazingly rude service provided by Debra Randell. Was attempting to find out some information about a job that had been posted via craiglist. Debra refused to give me any information about the job or the duties, skills, or anything required for it so that I could even write a cover letter or determine if I had the right skills. She then told me not "tell her how to do her job!". It appears that she has a lot of time on her hands to be able to send scathing nasty emails to potential job applicants. Her exact words quoted from a recent email to me, remember she only knows me as someone who is emailing about a job posting: "Hey Dave I've been providing that service to them for 20 years now so stick your head up your scrub...sorry for the typo asshole!" I've called SEVERAL times with no returned calls and went in and the owner was so rude and unprofessional. Never again

This company is very unprofessional. My husband has been looking for a new job and has been submitting his resume anywhere he can. I asked him to work with an agency I told him that they might be able to help him. He then contacts this agency "Custom Personnel" in redding. He went there did his application and gave them his resume. He waited and no one contacted him. He drove there to speak with someone and the whole place was closed this was at 12pm. He then called and spoke with a lady there and she told him she would call him back this was on Monday, June 18, 2018, and again no one called him back. He then called them again yesterday and they told him they couldn't find his resume or application she asked if he had applied to any jobs online which he did but they somehow had "nothing" on him. And again he waited so he got FINALLY an e-mail to see if he wanted to interview for a painting job he got the message late we are sorry about that but it is because he was out submitting more resumes most of the morning something you don't get sitting on your butt all day how can you, but he did respond back and asked if he can make it today at 2pm and they didn't get back to him until later. And here are the images of how unprofessional and nasty these people are. If you don't want to work there QUIT. If you are the owner "Debra" just close your business because it is apparent that you don't know how to run one. He didn't curse at you or anything until you said what you said at the end but from the looks of how you respond to someone trying to work just shows how ugly, boorish, indolent and disgusting human you are. And I will not tell you what I REALLY think of you because unlike you, we have class and yes we might be going through a rough patch but I guarantee you that we are richer in life than you will ever be..... Customer Personnel is truly one of the worst places I have dealt with. The owner Debra is incompetent and unprofessional. She left me a nasty voicemail after I called and cancelled a meeting. She was cussing at me and calling me names. I was so grossed out and upset I called the better business bureau. She should really emulate herself. They were extremely friendly and I am happy to say, they were able to place me right away. W2's are suppose to be out by Jan. 31st I had not received mine as of Feb. 7th so I called and talked to Debbie and asked her if she could check to make sure they had the right mailing address for me. I do not get mail at my physical address and last year the mailed it to he wrong address. She absolutely would not take the time to check. Instead she says to wait a couple more days and then contact her if I didn't have it by then. I said you mean to tell me you can't check real quick on the address they used... her reply was they don't do the payroll so she didn't have that information on hand. I asked for the number of to payroll company and she said for me to just contact her in a couple of days then she would look into it. What kind of business does that?? I have payroll checks with Custom Personnel logo on them. I left her a message yesterday and asked her to call me.. never got a call back.. Debra is so unprofessional person ever. I went to where they wanted me to go. I was supposed to meet the hiring manager but ended up talking to two other temp workers and was given an insight in how the job was. I waited for 45 minutes the hiring manager never showed up. I called Custom personnel and left a message of what had happened. I guess I should have just gone to the office. I get message the next morning from Debra at Custom Personnel her pretty much calling me a liar that I didn't show up and how hard she got that position and that my profile will be erased and I am to never call them again to look for work. I have worked for this agency before and never had an issue but going back for help from this agency was a mistake. Debra will leave you a nasty voicemail when she feels your a waste of time and threaten you that she will make it hard to find work where you go. Finding work is hard as it is here in Redding. Custom Personnel needs to work on their communications and not accuse clients because they get paid a lot when their temp workers are working on those job sites. read more

HAS TO BE THE WORST! Oscar called me in for an interview. After the interview saying that I was a good candidate that he was going to forward my resume on to the employer and they would call for and interview. My interview was on a Wednesday with Oscar and he said he would call me by Friday and guess what not phone call. So I called on the Monday and left message for him to call me but guess what no phone call. So I called on Tuesday and got a hold of him. I said hey was waiting for your phone call on Friday you said and never heard from you and now left you a message to call on Monday so I called you. So after saying oh yah I was busy. But I will call the employer and will see where their at an call you by Friday. Well guess what not phone on Friday so now I call again today which is Monday and Oscar answers the phone and once again I ask what happened to the phone call on Friday and once again another accuse. IM AM SO DONE WITH OSCAR AND CUSTOM PERSONNEL. They should be called no custom personnel. THE WORST DO NOT USE THEM OR OSCAR. read more
