The man who did the measuring and the installers did a great job. However, the customer service people are very difficult to deal with. The woman answering the phone has an attitude and doesn't want to consult someone else who might be able to answer our question. They didn't have much of a selection when we went there. A man in the office then referred us to a place in Miami that supplies their granite. We did some research on our own and found out that that same supplier has a location in West Palm Beach, which is much closer for us. read more

Worst home improvement experience that I have ever had. I have done many renovations and worked with the same local vendor who sent me over to select the remanent piece to complete a bathroom countertop. Got there, was shown the options, selected one. As we scheduled the template another employee came to tell me I could not take that piece: 1. It was not available as a remanent and when I asked if I could go see other options, he answered "No"; 2. I should not have come over to make the selection but had the store call with my selection (even though this was what I was instructed to do and have done in previous purchases of this type in past years); 3. My piece was too big (19 sq ft) to be a remanent and therefore no selection was available to me. Made no effort to help find a solution and was grossly rude. Stay away!!!! Used them thru Home Depot and did a lousy job. After counter arrived it had to go back and get cut down but when they brought it back it had a big chip on the edge. They did a lousy repair on it and they also cut out to large a opening for the sink. I called them up ask if maybe they wanted to give me a little credit for their mistakes ($100.00) and they said no. The customer service gentleman was rude and belongs in another dept. besides customer service. Never will use them again and as you can see by the their reviews they are a lousy company to do business with!! read more

I typed up a 3-page review but this site has character limits...so here is the summary: On 11/14/2021 I ordered $6,516 worth of quartzite countertops for the new home I am building from the Home Depot in Port St. Lucie. March 18, 2022. I took the day off from work to meet with the template person March 21st, I went to the office and found that they only had two slabs of the material so there wasn't really anything to choose. April 25, 2022 took the day off from work to meet with the crew at the house-site. Ruben asked me if I had any scrap lumber, so I found a couple pieces of 2x4 and gave them to him. He then proceeded to drive 3 1/2 inch screws through the sides of my cabinets making what he called "temporary supports" for my sink. He then asked if they could use my generator which wasn't powerful enough to do the cutout for the cooktop. Ruben told me they would have to come back and that they might charge me to do so. I said, "you came to the job unprepared and you are going to charge me?" May 24th, I took another day off from work, mind you it costs me about $300 every time I take a day off. I called the office at 7:30 a.m. and confirmed that they would be at the house because I had not heard anything. The man, Gabriel, said that I was on the schedule and they should be there around 2:00 p.m. I got to the house around 8 a.m. and I was there until 8 p.m. and no one ever showed up. No one called. No one texted. Nothing. The following morning I called the office and spoke to Gabriel once more, he explained that they were on their way out and that they discovered a leak in the generator so they had to turn back and by that time they didn't have time to come all the way back, yet no one thought to call me. About ten minutes later he called back and changed his whole story (lie) and said that "the men were at your house, but no one was there and there were piles of dirt in the driveway." I informed him that there are no piles of dirt on my property and I was there for 12 hours and no one ever came in. He then back-stepped and said they must have gone to the wrong address. May 26th Ruben showed up 4 hours early so no one was there to meet him. After work I drove out to see the work and found a complete disaster. Ruben had allowed the 4 sqft of cutout to fall into the cabinet below, breaking the shelf and shelf-pegs, and making huge gouges in the sides of the brand new cabinet. The cabinet doors would no longer close on their own. Dust was everywhere. The sink was still hanging crooked on the "temporary" 2x4 mounts and he slapped a thin bead of caulk around ¾ of the rim. None of the tops were caulked in place, including the island. Icing on the cake was that the 4 sqft of countertop cutout that Ruben had told me he would leave for me, the one that smashed my cabinet, was gone....Ruben apparently took that $280 worth of stone and kept it for himself. First thing the next morning I called Custom Marble and Granite again and spoke to Ed, who is apparently an owner/manager of the business. He apologized for the issues I have had (which doesn't negate the $600 of sick time off from work or the $1,250 of damage to my new cabinets) and and said that he would cover the cost of replacement of the cabinet. I emailed him the invoice for the cabinet. June 3rd Two different men came to the house. They removed the "temporary" blocks of wood (of course now there are holes in the sides of the cabinets) and use the proper clips and caulking to mount the sink as it should have been done the first time. They caulked around everything that was supposed to be caulked and they cleaned up some of the mess left by Ruben. The two gentlemen were polite, they were meticulous, and they did a great job. June 15th and I have sent multiple emails and made multiple phone calls to Custom Marble and Granite and I have yet to be reimbursed for the $1,250 cabinet install to replace the damaged unit from the carelessness of one of it's employees. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. read more

We just redid our kitchen and ordered our granite through Home Depot who subcontracted out the job to Custom Marble and Granite. It has been the most delightful and pleasant experience you could imagine! From being picking out our slab and change it last minute to the installation. These guys are amazing and are so professional. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy! Love them! Definitely would recommend and we will use them again! read more

My cabinets were measured on 3/23/2018. Custom Marble and Granite told me they did not get my Corian until 3 weeks later. Or they used my material for fabrication of another job that they screwed up. They said that Home Depot was behind on their deliveries. I inquired at Home Depot and was told they were unaware of any material delivery issues. During my top's fabrication on the morning of the day they were supposed to deliver it they punched a hole in the side of my Kohler stainless steel sink when the bearing flew off the router while routing the sink cut out. They had to find a replacement sink. A week or so later when the counter tops were supposed to be delivered the installer called me around 4:00 pm to say he was running late and only had two of the 3 counter tops because one was supposed to meet him at my house but couldn't because it was broken beyond repair while it was being fabricated on the day it was supposed to be delivered. Also one of the two tops that he did have was blemished beyond what he could repair on site. A week later my counter tops arrived. One of the three tops was too short and had no overhang. The sink counter was too short on one end and too long on the other end. It couldn't be slid over because of a wall corner. It also had about 6 inches that weren't supposed to be there projecting into a hall. All the tops were returned to the shop for rework. Fifty Six days after taking my measurements on 5/17/2018 another installation was performed. All 3 tops were installed. One of the tops has a blemish which looks dull with fine scratches. The sink counter has an edge which is not rounded. All edges were to be rounded. I requested the material from the sink cut out and was told I would receive it. It was never given to me. I am very dissatisfied with the performance of Custom Marble and Granite and the quality and timeliness of their work.. I would not recommend them or Home Depot if they continue to use them as a sub contractor. read more

They were fast and efficient, answered all our questions and left us highly informed regarding the care of our new counter tops. I would highly recommend them for any and all marble and granite work. The poorest install and rude people I have ever met. They are contractors for a big box store. I plan on reaching the highest of management to complain. The install was as if a 8 year old did it. Last September we contracted with Home Depot to have our countertops redone. We went to Custom Marble & Granite & picked out the granite we wanted & they came & took the measurements, then a couple of weeks later they came & installed the granite countertops.What should have been a 2 visit job, turned out to be 4 visits, The sink was put in uneven, the seaming wasnt done right, and it was a sloppy job in general. I spoke to Brian several times @ the Granite company, he never apologized or said "we'll make this right", he was indifferent. So finally we got the district manager @ Home Depot involved and he came over and viewed the problems. The last visit from the Granite Company they finally finished the job and it looks nice. In retrospect, I wish we had used a local company in Titusville to do this job. If we weren't retired, all the visits would have been a hardship, taking off from work and to keep having service people in the house. It was a real inconvienence as it was. Home Depot did give us 10% of their fee back for all that we had to endure with this company. read more
