The prices exceeded anything I was expecting, so I took to the internet and found Halex Awards. Their prices were almost half of any I could find near my home in Northern Virginia. Over the past 13 years, I have ordered a total of 19 brass plates from Halex Awards for use on military, scouting, and personal awards. In every instance, they have provided excellent and prompt service. In 2011, I made a mistake on an order, AND even after confirming it via email follow-up, David replaced the plate at no additional cost . . . he even shipped it (again) for free. Finally, in 2016, I decided to conduct another pricing comparison just to be sure I was paying a reasonable amount. I can attest that Halex Award's pricing is ABSOLUTELY the lowest I've been able to find. Reasonable cost, EXCELLENT service, provided promptly, and an end-product that is simply fantastic . . . what more can one ask?

I just have to come right out and say, you will not find a better engraver in all of the Syracuse…read morearea. The prices are beyond fair and the quality of work is impeccable. We had to recently get a memorial plaque made for a service and at first had all of it done on a wood base with a gold plate. It looked fantastic! Our family ended up changing their minds and wanted a stone plaque instead. After adventuring all over Syracuse to find a small square piece of marble, we came back here. I was really worried that he wouldn't take our piece or that it would be to hard to do on marble. He had no issue at all and charged the same price as the other day. What impressed me even more so, was that he was able to use his tool to etch in a Chinese name in addition to all of the other stuff we had written. Here is the kicker...the price was out of this world. There was no "per word" nonsense here. The guy charged us the same for both pieces and one had Chinese writing on it. I won't quote the price, but I promise you that not only with your jaw drop at how fair it is, you will love the product when he is done!

The owner even sent me several proofs and happily made all the changes I requested. I felt horrible asking for changes (she did exactly what I had asked for, it turned out I didn't like what I asked for), but she kept telling me that it's too important of an occasion, they HAD to be perfect! That was very comforting! She even worked on them, sending me proofs well after hours! The next day they were closed, but she took them to her other business and let me pick them up there. Did I mention ACCOMMODATING??? The price was way lower than I expected for such quality work and amazing service. I am thankful and grateful!
