In the past I have been to a lot of barbershops. It's difficult to find the right environment and…read moreright atmosphere for a barbershop that makes you feel as you belong and feel like home. You would hope to get that sensation from a physical location, but here it starts with the barber. The owner of this location, Javier has been cutting my hair for about 5-6 years now. As soon as you as you walk in, he always greets you making you feel welcome. Conversation is also hard to find these days without texting and communicating through a device. Conversations that arise while cutting hair isn't your typical small talk conversation. Life lessons and advice are given on almost every visit. But this review is about the haircut, almost forgot haha. If you know what you want, then perfect, they will set you up with the style you like. If not then that's okay too, they give good recommendations on what you expect from a haircut. I do know that once I get up from that chair and walk out that door, I'm never disappointed. Instead of being done and out by 1245 we got out at 2. In addition, the floor was completely covered in other peoples hair, and despite my asking he said it was "fine". Will not be going back.

I hate leaving bad reviews especially at a place that has good quality workers. We normally don't…read morecome here, maybe once in a blue moon but we went here because it was close to home. We have a barber we go to every big competition which is usually every month but he was already out of our route so we decided to take a risk and try a new one. I'm extremely picky about my all of my son's hair and this son has a signature hairstyle we kept for 3 years. I wanted to let this go but it bothered me all day during his competition so I had to leave a review. I'm extremely disappointed that he butchered my son's hair before his big jiujitsu competition. I requested a simple burst fade on the sides, two lines and to cut half inch off the top, to please not cut off too much because he loves his blonde tips. I don't know the name of this guy but I hope he doesn't do this to anyone else. We ate next door to wait for our son, we checked on him every 15 mins, after an hour he wasn't done. Our son was sitting in the far corner so we didn't get to see what he was doing to his hair. This video was taken while the barber kept fiddling with the top so we couldn't see how he cut the top. Why is it two hours later he finally finished?? He's a kid!! We were next door eating at the pizza shop when our son ran to us, he was so hungry and tired he started eating so fast I didn't get to observe his hair. The price shows $40 so my husband went to go pay him while I get up to look at his hair. My husband came back and said he asked for $55 cuz he said it took longer than expected. I was baffled! We left him no tip. I'm looking at my son's hair to find that the barber chopped off the crown of his hair leaving a half inch and he barely finished the burst fade on one side. So I was upset and walked over to the barber shop to complain. I talked to the guy and told him that isn't the haircut I asked him to do. He explained why he did it and he said he could finish cutting the sides. We ended up dealing with that cut trying to style it, sadly ruining his signature hair for his competition. We're taking him to our trusted barber when we return from Long Beach to buzz it all off and start fresh. Never again will I take any of my boys back to this place because of him. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Please don't let this guy do this to anyone else. I don't know his name, so I posted the photo (don't mean to put him on blast). Go to someone else that cares. That's one of the main reason why I'm leaving this review, I'm saving you a headache.

We went on a Sunday night for my 9 year old's haircut. We had called ahead around 7:00pm to ask if…read morethey had availability, and they told us they did. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting about 40 minutes before he was finally up. Between the wait and the haircut, we didn't leave until closer to 9pm. I could tell they were short-staffed, and I understand it was a Sunday night, but the wait was just too long. I honestly wish they had told me they were too busy so I could've planned accordingly instead of spending most of the evening waiting. The haircut itself was a basic buzz cut, and at $40, I felt it was overpriced for what was done. The vibe is okay, and the ambiance is nice for a barbershop. I just think the communication about the wait time could've been better, and the price was hard to justify for a simple kids' haircut.
