A pipe had burst and flooded an area of my home, so badly that some of the wallboard (aka "drywall" or "sheetrock") had to be replaced. Of course, that entails several steps (putting up the drywall, "taping" the seams with plaster compound, sanding it smooth and repeating until perfectly smooth) before you can even paint. I could have bought the drywall at Home Repot and then rented a truck to take it home, etc., but I called Rocket City Drywall and got it for the same price, and only $35 for them to DELIVER it and UNLOAD it - definitely the way to go! Billy Junior ran a really professional crew that "rocked" the place (sheetrocked the bare framing) and then "mudded" it (applied the plaster compound and special tape to the seams) with precision and speed. After a second visit to put a second coat on - for really smooth seams and corners - they also blew Popcorn Ceiling Texture back on the ceiling that had been replaced, so it would match the existing garage ceiling. Prices? Amazing! They do the Rocking and Mudding for only 50 cents a square foot. For the popcorn ceiling job, they charged me $100, for one room, and part of the garage ceiling. That would have been my cost on materials and rental alone to do that job myself! Great work, great prices, and fast, too. Next time you've got some bare 2X4's that need a bit of covering, call Billy!

So quickly, I had them back to the house three or four times to redo the job. In my case there were more interested in getting the job completed and at the lowest cost possible. There is not one corner in my house which is square and even. The drywall was damaged in a number of places, nail pops, knife lines and soft spots throughout the house. I had this company in my house for three days fixing most of the issues. They made a big mess and did not offer to clean it up. They showed up late and worked slow. Overall the company and Pearson Homes which hired these individuals did not impress me. I would not suggest hiring either company to do work for anyone.

When they had to sand some areas on the walls I didn't have a mess to clean because of the sander they used.
