Upon arrival I stated that I did not need nor want a test drive, Jst make sure tire is balanced that they installed 2 mo ago. The tech took it for a drive anyway, never checked balance. I let tech know I wasnt ok w the drive and also the computer person. Following this, was told cant do safety check cuz a receipt was covering Window vin...I let them know there's another placard on doorframe they can use to check vin. Was told no. When I pulled up the law (11 csr 50-2.44) he didnt care and became verbally aggressive asking "did you take the course" and walked away...during this exchange, another employee started telling me he'll call the sheriff to have them cone down and impound my car bc it was clear I tampered w Vin plate. My head is swirling at this point and I only responded w "thats ridiculous" and this large man started at me. Threatening and accusing a customer who jst wants 2 things done is quite wild. Went home and used a zip tie to remove receipt in 10 sec.

After hearing stories of what a certain parental figure would do to people who didn't know better at his auto garage, I never wanted to take it to a small repair shop. A kid my age worked there who took a liking to my car-- '75 Cutlass. He was always honest with me even when I wanted to spend a lot of cash for something-- radiator service for example. Mason texted me Monday night and advised that the Jeep we were looking at was sold. :( Monday night I thought it was not meant to be... Tuesday morning Mason texted me with a newer vehicle, same color that was available. Although it did not have leather/heated seats as the first one, Mason sent me pics and pricing of what it would be to add. We purchased the jeep tonight and will be getting our heated leather seats installed shortly!!! While waiting for the paperwork to be finalized tonight, Mason and I had a chance to chit chat... Two weeks pass, called and heard the same excuses, they made an appointment just to cancel it the same day. Kept calling to get the run around. A MONTH later it's "on top of the pile". They haven't touched it, finally went in person and they seemed relieved for me to get it towed somewhere else. It just needed a sensor replaced. An hour to hour and a half job tops. Missed out on a vehicle sale and trade in!
