My first time using this airport and I only flew out of here…read more Very small airport with only two terminals I believe. I saw two small hotels driving into the airport. Checking in was easy and the TSA lines were very manageable. There's only one small lounge though and I believe it serves all the airlines. There are a few restaurants though so more than one option to eat. No big crowds anywhere which was nice.

Why can't LAX be like this?…read more Besides Long Beach and SNA, this is probably the easiest airport I've ever been to. Things are on time Tons of different restaurants But most of all, the workers. I've literally had TSA agents make fun of me, mock my disability and even hit on me at LAX. NOT here!!! Every single worker calls you honey, tells you to have a great flight, has a smile on their face and one tsa agent event let me take a pic of her nails because they were so gorgeous and I wanted to get something similar I literally love everyone here LAX in the past was very accommodating to their disabled passengers, but now they are down right rude and tell me I have to go stand in line to check my bag first (this would of never happened years ago) with my heart condition I can not stand in a line for a period of time, I will faint. They still do not offer assistance. Once you check your bag in, then they will help you. And at lax they always ask me what's wrong with me, and I'm too pretty to be disabled. I'm sure they have a lot of people lying just to get wheelchair service. But it's sickening. There was none of that here at the OKC airport. The customer service was a 10 all around. Everyone here was more than willing to help with everything And when you land, baggage is easy and quick I hope everyone else has a great experience here and hope everyone (no matter what airport) has a safe flight and gets to their destination Ps this airport is pretty clean and has a bunch of bathrooms on the way to your gate as well.

Very clean and cool interior space. Restrooms were clean and well kept. Various restaurants and shops are available for visitors to check out during their layover. We didn't get to check out any of them as we had a 3+ hours drive to our hotel. Signages were very helpful. Getting to the rental car shuttle area for pick-up was easy to find. Rental car facility is located at a different location. Shuttles run every 6 to 8 minutes and ride takes about 3 to 4 minutes. Love the beautiful and lush exterior landscape! Staff was very friendly and cordial. Thank you all for the great service. I don't know when we'll be back to OKC. This is one airport I wouldn't mind having a longer layover at. Happy Travels! There is only coffee and some vending machines past security so either eat at DFW airport or before you go in. The gate agents keep you informed on flights. It doesn't ice very often in SWO but they have one deice truck. However if the runway gets covered in ice then it can't be de-iced and if the truck breaks they have to bring in support from Arkansas. Embraer 145s are the types of planes you go out on so no first class and only 50 passengers. If your flight cancels you won't be able to fit on the next one. However they are good at rebooking right at the airport.
