    This gym has some of the best equipment out of all the gyms in the area. Staff is generally…read morefriendly; however, it seems they lack follow through on keeping the gym tidy and enforcing gym etiquette. This is a really busy gym, so I understand it can be challenging to keep up, but the majority of the members here don't rerack weights or wipe down equipment. Management needs to take this into consideration and either be more strict about enforcing rules or hire more people to stay on top of cleanliness on the gym floor. I've lost count of how many times I've had to rerack multiple 45s that were left by a person before me. Going anytime past 4pm will guarantee you encounter people working out in large groups and camping out on machines for 30 mins or more due to being there to socialize more than actually working out. There are constantly people rough housing and nearly bumping into you on the turf, weights scattered all over the floor, and men yelling obnoxiously and claiming multiple machines at once. It makes getting a quick work out in challenging, and really limits the times I feel comfortable going here. The only way to avoid behavior like this is to go really early in the morning or on weekends because the staff does nothing to address it. I've considered switching to a more expensive gym just for the sake of having a larger window of time to work out comfortably. Unfortunately, the entry level price point attracts inconsiderate patrons, so I wouldn't be opposed to a base price increase to weed out some of the more unserious people. Overall, the biggest downfall of this gym is the lack of enforcement because it truly has potential to be the best gym in town if something is done to manage some of the problematic behavior from patrons.

Check-in was smooth, and all the employees were friendly and welcoming; definitely a good vibe to start your morning. Since it was my first time, Carol gave me a quick introduction to the Megaformer. I won't lie, it was a little confusing at first, but she was incredibly attentive and helped guide me throughout the class, which made a huge difference. She made sure I felt comfortable and corrected my form when needed without making it overwhelming. Also, her Britney Spears playlist? Everything. It honestly helped push me through the workout and made it way more fun. Lagree is no joke. It's tough, slow, and burns in all the right ways. It's such an effective workout that targets muscles you don't even realize you have. I walked out feeling accomplished and sore, in the best way. Definitely recommend if you're looking to challenge yourself and try something new!

    This review is LONG OVERDUE…read more I discovered SWEAT when I came home last year for a friend's wedding. Not wanting to slack on my exercise plans, I signed up for some spin classes here. The Real Ryder bikes were something else! I'd done plenty of spin classes before, but these bikes gave me a workout I hadn't felt before. The downside of no longer living in Stockton is not being a regular here, but when I'm home for the holidays or other occasions, I try to make a point of doing a class or two. I definitely recommend SWEAT! Check them out, sweat, and feel good about supporting local businesses in Stockton :)

Orange Theory is a…read morereally nice fit for me after being really skeptical as an individual who prefers to self direct my fitness through running or other outdoor activities. As my running tenure winded down, I needed a more rounded approach to staying in good physical health after a short stint with injuries and other events (turning 55 was not a good year),I gave the Stockton Studio a chance. First, I really enjoy the other people that work out here. Everyone has their unique approach and have fun with everything. Some are more serious but that is to be expected. Some are very chatty and I like that too. For me I pretty much stay in my lane and try to practice good form and monitor my heart rate and calories which are monitored on a screen in front of the treadmills. This arm band sensor gives you data in real time, then sends a report via the App to give you a summary of things like heart rate zones and calorie performance - good tech is important and data doesn't lie :) In short, what makes this place work are the trainers! They are all very competent and model each exercise with modifications if necessary. Of course everyone has their favorites and I'm not one to name names, but I try not to miss Wednesday and Thursday mornings! After about a year of OT, I have seen improvement on my overall health, adjusted my nutrition, and I expect to continue to improve my results in 2026. OT Stockton is probably the best gym in town. If you are looking to make a change, this place is where you can make it happen and get good coaching, motivation, and data to prove you are making progress.

I cannot thank the trainers, Drex & Steve, enough for motivating me, listening and creating balanced workouts for all my needs, and most of all, having a friendly, positive environment! Slowly over the months, I was able to see the changes in my body! I have gained more body strength, muscles, and my arms and legs are more toned than before. The workouts are in a group setting with different exercises and they're never the same the ones. What's also great about Power 45 is that you can go at your own pace & is for all workout levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). The fitness center has all the necessary essentials, such as changing rooms, courtesy water dispensers, towels, hurricane fans, etc and equipments such as WaterRower rowing machines, TRX, weight benches, different medicine ball weights, bosu balls, jump ropes, resistance bands, agility ladders, battle ropes, etc. Also, meal prep plans are available for purchase. I highly recommend this place to everyone! You will not be disappointed at your body fitness results as long as you stay committed to going everyday! All it takes is 45 minutes of your day to do this.
