This place is great! I needed to have my car smogged and so brought it here. I'd forgotten I had some maintenance done on the car recently and so the power was disconnected during that maintenance. That meant the smog test will fail until miles and time are put on the car. They found this out during the smog test, and told me to bring it back again once I'd driven it enough. I came back 3 times, each time they checked the code and told me it needs to be driven more. Ultimately it eventually passed the smog test. They only charged for the initial test and with each visit they were patient, thorough, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be using again! read more

Tam was friendly, and fast. $60 and my smog check was done in just a few minutes. I will be happy to come back here next smog check. I didn't need the DMV renewal notice or any paperwork. He had the license plate and VIN recorded before I had time to get out of the car. :-) He transmitted the smog certification directly to DMV so I was able to complete my renewal registration later online later the same day. read more

This really is a gem of a find. I called up for an oil change and was in and out in an hour. (and most reasonable price I have had) Guy was so friendly and personable. He even may have a part that I need for my car and told me to come in one day when I have an hour (as walgreens, mc D's and Lunardis are across the road) and he will drive my car to a specialist to make sure the part is the right one before fixing. It is located at a corner in which it is difficult to maneuver your car. It is as if it was forced to pop out there. But if I don't recommend it. It is because I am selfish. This guy all dirty, greasy and oily asked me to go have a sit by the corner in an uphill landscape by the time I was able to properly set the chair. This guy said my car is done with the smog test. I said what? That was the quickest smog test is this legal? He smiled and said something about what he used to do and all. Don't be fooled by this dude greasy, oily and messy. He just drives a really cool SUV beamer with all the glossy shine, rims and tires. He knows more than he lets you know. So if you value time and needs your smog test done in due time. Was having issues with my SUV. Had my car looked at other places saying it was a transmission issue and said to expect to pay 4k for replacement/repair. Since this place said they service transmission I figured I'd ask to see the costs and turn around. Brought my car over met the gentleman. Was friendly and honest. I was actually referred to him earlier for other items since I get my oil change across the street from them. Long story short, Tam looked at my car found out that it was. It a transmission issue and saved me a ton of money. The issue ended up to be my alternator. I am so relieved and happy. I think I just found my go to mechanic to help me service car for now on. Costs for fixing was reasonable, fast, and was updated each day on the work of my car. I realized I had to get a smog check done at the last minute on a Saturday afternoon, and this place was the first place I called due to it's great Yelp reviews. They were able to fit me in immediately. It's centrally located and only took me a few mins to slip down. They got me in and out in less time than it took me to grab a coffee while I waited. In my case, my BMWs battery had been dead and so didn't have enough mileage to complete the check, but they advised on how long to run it and will retest for a nominal fee.
