When called, the people at Curtis Media said to bring in the slides and they would do it TODAY and this was late afternoon. Our job was small, twelve slides, but important to us for the addition they represented in the media presentation for our mom's funeral made the efforts made by Curtis Media all the more appreciated. Transferred audio at wrong sample rates so that it played back at wrong speed and pitch. Techs are unfamiliar with their facilities technical capabilities, which are antiquated at best. I was told that my transfers could be performed as I requested (a very basic process), by their techs that I spoke with on the phone. After calling back to report that the transfers where done improperly I was repeatedly told that I would receive a call from a tech regarding the issue, however they never called. As a full time, professional audio engineer I must recommend that you avoid them and go elsewhere. They only offer extremely low quality transfers and are unfamiliar with basic technical terms. As an audio engineer I can tell you that the technical discussions and problems I had with Curtis Media Transfer is among the most basic knowledge you learn in school. If someone is not familiar with something as basic as sample rates, then they would never be hired anywhere else. read more
