Not only did he make us feel confident in our case, but he explains law very well and does not sugarcoat anything. Period. His assistant, Jennifer, who we spent several phone calls with, is very knowledgeable as well and is also SUCH a sweetheart which was calming to my business partner and I's paranoia. Not once were we blindsided by the case because both Todd and Jennifer are so factual and sincere. Hiring an attorney is a big decision, and for us, it was important that we hired someone genuine and caring. During our first hearing, both of our testifiers complimented us on how smart and polite Todd was throughout. Todd did such a great job defending us during that hearing & we were more than pleased with how much he educated himself (on his own) on the industry we are in. He really took the lengths he needed to in order to win the case and he made the opposing council look extremely unprepared. Both Todd and Jennifer are GOOD people, and they look out for the best in their clients current situation as well as their future. Fast forward to random questions here and there 3 years later, both Todd And Jennifer have kindly answered them along the way and If we need legal assistance down the road White Law Firm is who we will call!!

I would hire Troy Reimer and his law firm without a second's hesitation, and I highly recommend…read morehiring him for any family law matters that come up in your life. I have served in the Army as a Paralegal for almost 20 years now. During that time, I have met quite a few lawyers, both full-time Army and reservists. I have learned a couple of things during that time. One, that just because someone has graduated law school and passed the bar does not necessarily mean they know what they're doing. When hiring a lawyer, you have to balance competence, price, and personality. If they or their staff does not know what they are doing, they are too expensive, or you cannot work with their personality, then you can take a bad situation and make it much worse. When I had to hire a lawyer in Rockwall, I interviewed three different attorneys. Out of the three, I hired Troy Reimer because both he and his staff met the three largest criteria that I was looking for: competence, reasonable rates, and friendly personalities. During the interview, I found Mr. Reimer to be optimistic but honest. There were outcomes that I was expecting that were not reasonable and he explained why asking for them would hurt our case. He was also the only one of the three that would give me an estimate of the total cost for the case. My case had a few challenges. I was attempting to modify a divorce decree that was originally granted in Minnesota and subsequently moved to Maryland. It now had to be moved to Texas against the wishes of my ex-wife. Mr. Reimer handled that part of the case very efficiently. Going into the next phase, the case was hindered by negotiations of matters outside the case. Talking these matters over with Mr. Reimer, he gave me the advice of putting my court case on hold so it would not adversely impact the other negotiations. I have met very few lawyers who advise their client to put a hold on a case because it causes the lawyer a delay in earning his hourly fees. I was quite impressed that Mr. Reimer would put my well-being above his personal financial gain. Later, when my second wife and I split, we decided to hire one lawyer to handle the matter because we had come to an amicable agreement between the two of us on all the different matters. Since I had a legal background and I could have lawyers help me review the paperwork, it was agreed that my wife would hire the lawyer to protect her interests. I contacted Mr. Reimer, and he informed me that since my case was closed and this was a totally unrelated matter, it would not break any ethics laws for my ex-wife to hire him. Although it was legal, his advice was for her to hire someone else, so there would not even be the appearance of impropriety. Again, this placed ethical appearances above his financial gain.
