His tree crew, Angel and Brandon did a fantastic job trimming a very large maple tree in front of my house yesterday which was very impressive. Some very large limbs were hanging over my house and over a birch tree that I hoped could be spared any damage. These guys can fell branches exactly where they want from their bucket truck, tying off the limbs and gently lowering them with precision accuracy. I really like how my tree was trimmed without looking like it was topped off like so many companies do. They just thinned it out, leaving it's natural shape. My neighbors already complimenting how good it looks like the rest of my yard. I have known Richard for MANY years and trust his work and price above any others. His crews are very trustworthy also to do an excellent job.

I had a chance for overtime that day, which I turned down to make sure I was home by 4:30 to meet with Jeremy. 4:30 came and went, and I was sitting around, waiting on him to show up. At 5:15 I call him and ask what is going on. He is very apologetic and saying "oh man" several times and starts talking about how bad the traffic is but says he can be at my house by 6 PM. I'm a little upset, but I agree to wait until 6 and meet with him. 6 PM comes by. . .and nothing. At 6:30, now two hours after our original appointment and 30 minutes after he just told me he'd be there a little over an hour prior, he's still not there. I call again, and he just starts saying "oh man" over and over again, and mumbles something about traffic being bad. He says maybe he can be there a little after 7 PM. No. I said no. I'll find someone else. If someone is this bad at simply keeping an appointment, and bad at communication that he can't communicate if he's going to be late, why should I trust him with a project at my home?

During the project he moved an expensive piece of outdoor furniture and did not move it back after completing it, because of where and how he left it, it ended up being damaged and having to be replaced. I provided all the information to him about the original cost and the cost of replacement (which was less than what I originally paid), explained my attempts to get just parts for it from the manufacturer instead and the video of it being damaged. He never responded to my request for remedy of the damaged furniture when I sent him the proof of price. The rock work was okay. He changed the scope in the middle of the job and didn't finish one section of it, so I got pretty confused on how the final invoice amount was arrived at. From the amount of work and materials we removed from the quote midway through the project to the final product, it didn't seem quite right. Also, he didn't put the landscaping fabric under the edging, so I have a ton of unexpected weed control I have to manage now when the purpose of installing the rock was to be lower / easier maintenance because, again, I have a disability that affects my mobility. He's a hard worker I just wish he would have made things right regarding my damaged property. He told me his insurance doesn't cover wind damage and did not offer any other remedy. If he'd worked with me to replace the furniture that was damaged, I would have given him a higher rating, but as it is, this is my honest opinion of the value, quality and overall customer experience I received. I can't recommend this business at this time and will be letting the division of Yelp that oversees contractor recommendations know as well since I found him through them.

The customer service was outstanding, especially considering the never ending rain and oppressive outdoor temperatures. Nathan is honest and hardworking.
