I'm So grateful our daughter was able to get in after a few months on the waitlist. I would keep her here till Kindergarten if I could but we had to move for work. They are so loving and caring full of years of experience. Almost everyday she would come home with an art project and had so much room to run around and play. Sheryl made healthy meals everyday for the girls, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, pancakes, you name it. My daughter made best friends there and learned all about the farm animals Sheryl has goats, chickens, horses and even a pony! It was a magical place for her to grow and learn. Thank you so much Serenity Creek.

My daughter is smarter, more independent, and more loving for having spent the last 1.5 years with Sherryl on her gorgeous farm. The only reason why my daughter is leaving Serenity Creek is because we are moving out of state - otherwise, I would have kept here there for as long as possible!! She wakes up every morning and talks non-stop about how excited she is to go to 'school' and runs to the door when we get there. I have to chase her down to say goodbye to me. I can't say enough about what a warm and nurturing environment Serenity Creek is! If I could pack Sherryl and take her with me, I would!!

I tried out 2 other home daycares before I chose Mountain Monsters. The first thing that struck me…read morewas that it was really clean. You would think all daycares that are legit and have children running around would be, but not the case. Sonya's home and yard is immaculate. There are endless toys and play structures which is great because my son is a super climber. Sonya has one of those natural connections with children which again is not the case with a lot of daycares. How do they get their licenses??? That's another topic. My son is crazy about her. I was really worried when the first 2 days he cried a little when I left him, but now when I pick him up, the first thing he says is "Awwww, I don't want to go."

We love Sonya and consider her a friend and extended member of our family. My son, who is now…read morethree and a half, has been going to her since he was seventeen months old and we now also have our fourteen month-old daughter there as well. I always know that they are safe, well-cared for, and have a range of activity options throughout the day. The small, in-home setting works very well for us and eases the burden of having to leave them during the day. Drop-off is easy because they are so happy to be going there, but pick-up can be a bit more challenging because they are not always ready to leave. =) Sonya's own two children and her husband are also very loving and engaged with the kids and it feels like an extension of our own home. In addition, Sonya has been very flexible in attending to our needs as a vegetarian, cloth-diaper-using family, which was not the case with all of the childcare options that we explored. I highly recommend Mountain Monsters Daycare and am so happy that we found it for ourselves.

If it weren't for the need to move her on to preschool, we would happily let her stay here forever! This may not be the newest or fanciest daycare in the neighborhood, but it is always very clean, organized, and well run. The sick policy is also more flexible compared to chain daycares, where even minor symptoms can mean at least 24 hours at home. Surprisingly, during these two years my daughter has been sick fewer than five times. Both teachers, Nicole and Sandy, are absolutely fantastic. Sandy is incredibly caring and patient--she comforts the little ones by holding them, feeding them when needed, and soothing them to sleep during naps. Thanks to her, my daughter only cried for about 10 minutes on her very first morning, and after that she was happy to come every single day. Nicole is a wonderful educator--always energetic and engaging. My daughter has learned so much here, from Chinese and English colors, shapes, animals, and numbers, to singing many songs in both languages. When we went on preschool tours, one admissions officer even joked that she already knows enough to start kindergarten! Ally also goes above and beyond with communication. Each Sunday we receive the weekly lunch menu, and every day we get photos of meals and many snapshots of daily activities. Breakfast and dinner are also available if needed. At pickup time, parents receive a detailed daily report on paper, which we really appreciate. Overall, we couldn't recommend Ally's daycare more highly. It truly is a hidden gem in the area, and we feel so grateful for the care, love, and learning our daughter has experienced here.

This rating is long overdue for a place that was like a second family to us. Our daughter left…read moreBelen's in March 2026 at about 1.5 years old, after joining when she was only 10 months old. The level of love, joy, and care that all of the caregivers provided was beyond outstanding. We had to relocate from the Bay Area and were incredibly sad to leave. Our daughter was well fed, felt deeply loved, and built so much confidence in their care. I never had to worry about what she was doing during the day because I knew she was in incredible hands. She even became a bilingual baby, speaking Spanish alongside English at home. Not to mention, I learned so much from them as a parent; from patience and gentle reinforcement techniques to learning how to style my daughter's hair in such beautiful ways. At her new school, our daughter kept saying the names of all her caregivers and friends, talking about how much she missed them for months. Honestly, as a parent, hearing that was really hard to stomach, but it truly showed the lasting impact they left on her. They are an incredible group of women who are hard to forget and will forever be part of our village. Leaving this review with lots of love in my heart; the same love that they showed my daughter (and the parents) for the entirety of her time there.

He stopped napping, and every time I asked to change his schedule, they were incredibly flexible. While everyone else slept, he would do activities and come home with new little projects he had made. But the biggest thing for me: he actually became excited to go to daycare. That had never happened before, and I was honestly surprised by how happy he was there. I'm genuinely sad we're leaving and will miss them so much. I can't wait until our younger son to go there too.
