It's so tough to find a spot where you truly feel your child is loved, taught and cared for. We took my daughter here when we first moved to Scott's Valley and she was 2 years old. Such a wonderful daycare! My daughter has attended for the last year and it has been a great experience. We started her after a major move and Curious Angels helped her feel secure and settled pretty much immediately. The teachers are truly outstanding and clearly love their work. Our daughter loves going there every day, has formed beautiful friendships with her classmates, strong bonds with her teachers, and is learning so much. They have an outdoor emphasis and the children learn to care for chickens and bunnies, among all the other things they do during their day. The daycare uses an app to communicate with parents - we get pictures throughout the day which helps us talk to her about her activities in the evening. Communication with the teachers is excellent. It's a happy, joyous place where the children can play, learn, trust, and enjoy this special time in their life. This is a lovely small home daycare - a kid's wonderland with slides, little jungle gyms and interactive toys everywhere, set out in the beautiful redwoods. Great family-oriented daycare. My son has been going here for 1.5 years and is thriving. Miss Sedique and her staff are warm and loving with the kids and care about them each individually. I love that it's a perfect blend of a smaller, home-based daycare where the kids feel comfortable, but with the structure, curriculum, and learning of a preschool. Miss Sedique has devoted a large portion of her house so that they kids have separate rooms for playtime, eating and crafts, and sleeping. She has a large backyard with lots of activities as well. She puts a lot of effort into age-appropriate learning activities and crafts with the kids. My son (almost 4) really enjoys his time here and never wants to leave when I come to pick him up each day. When we first came here, my son was just over two and had been in a very large facility, where I was told he wasn't talking during the day, even though he would talk at home. I know he feels much more comfortable here and he certainly has now come out of his shell within this loving environment! I remember it hurt to leave my five-month-old daughter with someone I didn't know. Although the interview went well and her place really left a great first impression. As a first-time mother, the process was heartbreaking. Little did I know that leaving her with Sedique was one of the best decisions I ever made. My little one went to Sedique's for over two years before the daycare moved. The days my daughter didn't want to feed or sleep, Sedique managed to find a way with her years of rich experience, determined and loving heart. When it came time to potty-train, she simply recommended a book. I took her golden advice and my daughter was trained in a week. Yes, it was hard work. Yes, there were some accidents afterward. But she did it! Thanks to Sedique! You will also fall in love with the thoughtful set-up of her daycare. Sedique has created a multi-sensory environment to learn, play, explore, and get creative. Just when you think your child has experienced everything, Sedique will pull out a new activity for your child to be engaged in. While there's a nice structured routine to follow, there's also an interesting variety in the curriculum. Our daughter misses Sedique very much and our family will be eternally grateful for all the love and guidance she has bestowed on our daughter. By far, the best daycare I have ever taken my kids to. My kids and I love this daycare. The kids have fun, Sedique has a very nice setup in the backyard for the kids, as well as a nice setup inside as well. My 3 year old has learned so much, Sedique has worked with him on his alphabet, the kids sing songs, my 1 year old is happy as can be. This daycare is very dependable, flexible, and accommodating. Miss Sedique really enjoys working with the kids, and my kids definitely feel the love. She keeps them on a consistent routine, and the kids always know what to expect. She makes home cooked meals, she has dedicated nap area, tons of educational toys, and lil cubbies for the kids. 5 stars doesn't do Curious Angels daycare justice, they deserve 10 stars! read more

We are so grateful to Sedique and her helpers for taking such good care of our two children. She gives my daughter individual attention during naptime, and is helping her learn to write. My son was literally mute when he started going (diagnosed by a developmental pediatrician around 20 months of age). After only 5 months of being around all the kids and teachers, he was caught up to age level, and the pediatrician said it was because of his new day care. My kids love Miss Sedique and love going to day care. I call it their "paradise" because of all their friends and toys, and they get dance time as well as outside time to make sure they get a lot of movement. We have to drive up to 15 minutes each way to get here, but it's worth the extra time. My kids are still going there (Oct 2016) and I am grateful that we managed to find it. read more

We were looking for a good day care for our little 2y girl but all local were whether non native speakers (Chinese, Mandarins, etc) or dark environment (rooms with almost no windows) or bad area where cleaning was rarely done. This one is extremely clean, bright, tons of toys and friendly environment. Owner gave almost entire house for kids to play. I counted at least 4 rooms not including gigantic back yard. In addition the price is very pleasant to my pocket. Very happy with the day care even I have to drive like 10-15 minutes away from my own home. Sad but I am ready to pay such a price to give my daughter the best. Great Job guys. Happy I found you! read more

We love Mrs. Sedique and so do our boys! My family is new to the area and Sedique was so nice to accommodate my family, with me going from a stay at home mom to starting my job last minute. Sedique is kind, loving warm and down to earth and It just makes me feel so good to know my kids are being loved while they are away from me. Sedique even took the time out of her day to come to my 1 year old birthday party and they hadn't event started at the daycare yet. My 3 year old loves the atmosphere there is so much to do while at this daycare. From painting to running around on the beautiful property to playing with the chickens, my sons are thriving and they both come home with smiles on their faces. My two boys (ages 2 and 4) have been attending Curious Angels Day Care since Aug. 2015. We left the other previous (and bigger) day care because we felt that my oldest son wasn't getting as much personal attention that he needed for potty training and for socializing. We felt that because the other day care had so many kids, his needs were not met. He would get distraught when we had to drop him off each morning. We knew we needed to make a change fast! We are so happy to have made the change to CADC. Sedique has been great! Our kids have blossomed and enjoy going to the day care now. We just love the smaller setting, and the personal attention our kids are receiving. Sedique is assertive but kind with our boys, and she is able to discipline our kids better than we can! Also, we are able to text her when needed and she is great at communicating back with us. Not all day cares have teachers who can communicate clearly (i.e. speak English and use technology) and this has been such a plus! Our oldest will be entering pre-K later this year, but we will still keep the youngest one at CADC. In conclusion, I highly recommend Sedique and Curious Angels Day Care! read more

After our nanny moved on we spent time interviewing several daycares for my daughter, which is when I found Curious Angels. When we walked in, the owner sat down on the floor while our baby was in her car seat. Sedique, the owner, asked if she could take the baby out. During the interview I noticed the owner holding our daughter as if she was her very own. Never once did I feel as though she was directing her attention only towards us. Most daycares we visited didn't ask to see our daughter or didn't bother to even look over her way. Sedique took interest immediately in the baby and we could see she was gifted in caring for children. My daughter has been going to Curious angels now for over 2 years and has developed in such an amazing way. She is focusing now on letter writing and number writing. I've seen other children graduate from here & go straight into kindergarten! Her assistants are very caring and offer their own special warmth as well! I am truly blessed to have found Curious Angels. I've been fortunate to watch my daughter grow & develop into a very curious angel, too. read more

I have 3 young kids who are 6, 4, and 19 months who attended this day care and my husband and I were more than happy with the care Sedique gave them. The kids always looked forward to attending and they never wanted to leave! Now that's a great sign for any parent! It is wonderfully decorated and welcoming and clean! She has more than enough indoor activities as well as out door play equipment! I would have to say it was "Disneyland" with all they toys and such! My daughter has been going to Curious Angels day care for almost two years. She started when she was around 9 months and is now 2.5 years. She loves Ms. Sedique and all her helpers, and even asks to go to her house on the weekend! This is an in home day care. The front room has been converted to a fabulous play area, with enough toys to thrill any child, but everything had a place so is not cluttered. The backyard is even better, with multiple play areas and a misting system set up for got summer days. My daughter's care had always been to notch, and I honestly have no idea how Ms Sedique does it! She's like the Energizer Bunny, so full of energy at the end of the day! You really can't go wrong with choosing Curious Angels for your child. read more
