BEWARE if you don't want nutgrass in your new lawn! We have lived in our house for twenty years and we have NEVER had nutgrass in our lawn. We had Curbside Sod replace part of our lawn and two weeks later there was nutgrass growing up in the new grass. I talked to the manager to ask if they could come replace the small portion of the grass that contained the nutgrass. The manager told me that the nutgrass was there already in our yard and not in the new grass that they had put in! I told her that we had never had nutgrass but she kept saying that I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about. I told her if they would come to the house we could take up a piece of the sod and then you could see that the nutgrass was in their sod. She kept interrupting me to keep saying that it was in our lawn which it definitely was not before they put in the sod. She said that the owner was on vacation for a week and he would call me when he returned but he would say the same thing. Guess what? Of course he never called back! So we now will be fighting nutgrass forever !
I HATE dealing with people that just want to take your money (and it was expensive) and don't care about the quality of the job!
