This basement renovation was a true collaboration, and I could not be more happy with the results. Nate is everything you're looking for and didn't think you could find in a contractor. He returns calls quickly, works within your budget, works with you to execute your "wants," shows up on time, keeps the work area clean and safe, and produces fantastic results. He is mindful, thoughtful and highly skilled. Everyone loves his work, and so do I. Thank you Nate and Chris.

Archadeck was contracted to rebuild a third-floor balcony for our Wiscasset Maine condo. There were…read morea couple issues with this project because of the very unusual construction of the previous balcony. A portion of that balcony was literally the ceiling of the unit below us. Beyond that, the siding on the building was no longer available and the support system had to be changed. Jesse had assured me that TJ would do whatever was necessary to finish the job to our satisfaction. He did just that despite the fact that it took more time than anticipated and a couple extra trips back to the work site. TJ and Jesse have an open invitation to join us for a glass of wine and some appetizers on our balcony if they make it back to Wiscasset. David Brown

He did a phenomenal job! On the last day he was joined by Preston and he did a great job as well. This project had some unique elements. First, was the slope of the ground. Second, was the design. The lower deck was designed to hold a hot tub (not shown here) to be accessed from the upper deck in the area between the two railings. One whole side of the upper deck remained without a railing as I wanted deck access to be at any point along the footpath. It'll be my task to backfill the gap between the deck surface and the footpath. Total number of days worked on this project was six (6). TJ and Jessi are easy to work with and the cost was very reasonable. We are THRILLED with the results!!

Alen and his crew were a great solution to a building problem I had for two years. A previous…read morecontractor had built a roof on my home that was out of code and the town insisted that I have it redone. Alen was the only contractor to come up with a solution and he built it in a week for a good price. The town Code Enforcement pulled into my driveway, looked at the work and smiled to me and gave it a big thumbs up. Alen went on to put a metal roof on my farm house and again he beat two other contractors prices. He is the fourth contractor to work on my home and now he's the only contractor I will hire. I could say more but I hope this is enough.

David was extremely communicative from start to finish, very personable, and incredibly thorough. This is truly a one-man operation, and the level of pride he takes in his work shows in every detail. He didn't just refinish the floors, he carefully repaired cracked and separating boards, filled damaged areas, and made everything look seamless and brand new. We also asked him to take on some extra work that wasn't originally part of the job. He handled it without hesitation and didn't charge us anything extra. That kind of integrity is rare. Honestly, David is one of the best contractors I've ever hired for any home or trade-related project. Family and friends were all blown away by the transformation from David's craftsmanship. If you're in the Brewer or Bangor area and need hardwood floors sanded, refinished, stained, or sealed, I highly recommend DG Floor Sanding without hesitation. Top-quality craftsmanship and great communication the entire time.
