This is an easy review to write. Dr. Mark had helped me tremendously over the past few years…read more I have typical worker problems. Neck, shoulders, hips, and continuous aging disorder : ). Dr Mark is always thorough. He assesses me accurately on each visit and finds areas I didn't recognize were problem sources. He listens and treats what I want treated. He's direct, honest and always interesting to talk to. I go when I need it. Some practices encourage regular appointments. While Dr. Mark would certainly be wonderful to visit on a regular basis, I can't afford a regular program. He's happy to see me whenever I feel the need. It's a top notch experience every visit. His staff is friendly and always calls back when I leave messages. It's a busy office. You do need to make appointment. When I had some real pain flair up they have usually been able to get me in.

I think I first visited Dr. Mark at Community Chiropractic after some minor whiplash. I'd been in…read morea multi-car domino accident where someone rear-ended someone else, and about 6 cars crunched together. Fun stuff. My car was in the shop, Dr. Mark's office was close enough to walk from my house, and he would work with my insurance. They also had evening appointments a few days a week. This all sounded promising. I'm picky about chiropractors, and a somewhat skeptical person by nature. My dad is the same way, and he'd heard positive things about Dr. Mark. He didn't disappoint. He was able to get rid of the tingling and slight numbness of my right arm pretty quickly. I still needed physical therapy, but Dr. Mark was respectful of the advice I was getting from my physical therapist as well as my doctor and spine specialist. As soon as I was doing better, Dr. Mark was fine with letting me schedule appointments as needed. I really appreciate this -- I'm wary of chiropractors who seem to be pushing you to schedule visits forever and ever. His desk staff are sweet and extremely helpful (helped me order a special item and even called to follow up when it was on backorder), and billing has never been a problem or gotten screwy. When I've been traveling too much, attempted to lift or lug something wrong, or have something that feels a little funny in my neck, Community Chiropractic is usually the first place I call. Obviously, if you're in need of medical help, you should do your own research and make your own decisions. I'm not a trained medical professional (duh), so this is just the positive testimony of one patient, but positive it is, and it's worth sharing!

They also have an integrated online system that sends you reminders. s This place is kind of quirky, but in a kid-friendly way! There are painted slogans on the walls and fun events most weeks! Last Friday they had a fun juice event. During March Madness, they did brackets! Did I mention it's downtown & will they will validate your parking? Win-win! As far as chiropractic goes, I switched to Mark from my old chiropractor about 2 years ago, and he is still my favorite chiropractor around!

He's an incredibly funny and easy-going guy and makes the whole process of getting adjusted (which may be daunting to some) very comfortable. Mark also currently has two locations open, which is definitely a plus. Quality of Work (5/5): As I mentioned above, Mark is the first chiropractor I have been to so I don't really have anything to compare my experience to. Prior to contacting Mark I had watched about a million YouTube videos so that I knew what to expect; I can easily say that Mark met and exceeded my expectations. Getting an adjustment seems scary at first (especially a neck adjustment), but I felt very comfortable when working with Mark. Also, I haven't experienced any pain as a result of my adjustments. I personally have an offset hip that makes one of my legs feel longer, which can get in the way while I am lifting weights and exercising. Over time, I have been seeing improvements in my "condition". Availability (5/5): Mark is always available to talk and help discuss your treatment options. Just give him a call and he'll set you right up. I also love how he uses email to communicate since I can't always answer my phone due to class and other reasons. His hours are very reasonable, and he is also available at two locations as of right now.

For one in my 40's my MD prescribed physical therapy, but after weeks of no relief, I turned to chiropractic work. Over the same course of time as physical therapy, this completely corrected the problem. Four years ago it was too far to drive to my former chiropractor, and so I put off the pain until the day I finally just couldn't get out of the car and had to call for help. Coincidentally, I had just run into a reliable source in the parking lot who gave me a referral to East Stadium Chiropractic Wellness. I was impressed right off the bat. My first visit began with an X-ray, and Dr. Kroes completely explained to me exactly where the problem spots were along my spine. I also had copies of these to show to my employer at the time. I came back to Dr. Kroes with new issues a month ago. I have been thrilled with my progressive recovery over these four weekly sessions. Dr. Kroes keeps up on his research and introduces new and effective techniques. I highly recommend East Stadium Chiropractic Wellness. Besides the excellent treatment, all of the office staff are wonderful. They are friendly, professional and very accommodating.

And I've never waited less than 20 minutes for my scheduled appointment. It doesn't matter if you go earlier in the day or the afternoon- I've tried both. Do not trust any quote times from the staff. They just overbook anyway. I've tried talking to the staff to understand how they run things. But the communication is terrible and very frustrating. For my first appointment, I waited nearly 2 hours to see Brian. If I hadn't said anything to the staff, I am certain it would've been longer, close to 3 hours. For weekly adjustments, for example, I book a 3pm, weeks in advance. And as it turns out, I am always waiting until 3:30. Typically seeing the chiro for an adjustment takes about 10-15 minutes but here, its nearly an 1 hour on a busy day!!! It's really unacceptable. This is because two or more people are booked at the same time. The laws of physics don't allow two or more things to occupy the same time and space. Other Chiropractors I've been to have had much better scheduling practices so they have no excuse other than to make more money at the patient's inconvenience. Also, I dont like being sold services outside of my insurance. I told Brian I enjoy working out and every time I came in for an adjustment, he tries to sell me a product, either a pillow or this electro-therapy that he says "reduces athlete recovery time to zero". Well, this service, whatever it is, medical necessity aside, is out-of-pocket. Although he says the first session is free, I never took him up on the offer. This is a very unprofessional office, overall. The medical care is OK. If you don't mind waiting a long time or constantly being sold products and services, then give it a try.
