We also had serious concerns about a conflict of interest that affected our confidence in his representation. Everything changed after we found The Realty Collective, and started working with Chena. Right off the bat, she was keen to build a strong online presence for our listing. She even arranged to redo the professional photography to make our listing photos stand out more and even added a virtual house tour that really showcased our home. One of the great things about working with Chena is that she doesn't just sit back and wait for buyers to come to her. No, she's very proactive! She actively marketed by creating engaging content for social media platforms to attract potential clients, hosted open houses every week, and the entire realty office collaborated and worked as a team to get as much visibility as possible. When it comes to communication, Chena was a star. She gave us detailed updates on each showing and always kept us in the loop about where our listing was posted and how it was performing in terms of views. Whenever the house required attention, she took the initiative to arrange for services to come and take care of everything that needed to be done. Chena delivered in selling our house within the timeframe that we hoped. She put in the effort and did more than expected to make sure we were happy with the results. We're very happy that we got to work with Chena and we would not hesitate to recommend her in a heartbeat!

A dream was created when we visited Cookeville 10 months ago. Finding Kelly Davis of First Reality…read morewas like finding our fairy god mother who could make our wish come true. She never gave up looking for a perfect place for us while we went back to California to pack up, sell and move back to Tennessee. Kelly was willing to do distance walk-throughs on houses that interested us. She heard, I mean really HEARD our desires for our perfect place and she wasn't afraid to tell us when a certain place would not work out for us. When our house sold, she was ready to put in the long hours and miles to find that dream and make it a reality. We drove out in an older motorhome and a pickup truck. We gave 90% of our belongings away back west because we were that serious about our move. Kelly never gave up, looking at listing after listing. She was contacting fellow realtors and searching every option. One day, a place came up and she instinctively knew this was the one. Was it everything we wanted? Not everything...but our "everythings" changed over time as Kelly taught us about Tennessee and the Cookeville area. We agreed to meet her at the location and just driving up the street to the property, we knew it was our dream home! The three of us knew our future was on this property. Kelly had found and fulfilled the dream making all of our wishes come true. Moving to Tennessee and living in Cookeville is the dream! Beautiful countryside, wonderful people, great churches and more fun things to do than you have time for! Thank you Kelly Davis and First Reality for going above and beyond to give us a beautiful home and property!

After seven long years of searching for our forever home, leasing in Florida three years and…read moreTennessee almost four years, our unplanned move was necessitated as the owners of the house we were leasing needed their house back...in 30 days. Literally, we had less than a month to relocate. A month that included a long holiday when many businesses were closed. Our adventure began on Friday of Independence Week... how appropriate! The first two houses we were interested in, quickly became unavailable. By chance, I sent Gwin Home & Garden Realty an inquiry about a house on the market. I indicated that this house was the style we were looking for and that by the information on the website, it appears to check all the boxes. Almost immediately, I received a response from Realtor Genelle, who said "I believe I have your house" and we immediately made an appointment to tour this home, along with a few others. This house was in a location we were unfamiliar with but Genelle took the time, on that Sunday, to show us around with great patience and intuition. She was right, the first house she showed us was the house we loved and we placed an offer. Genelle patiently and with great expertise, worked with us and her team to manage all the details in a week full of holiday obstacles. Over the next few weeks, Genelle was right there coordinating with the lender and his team, the seller and her team, as well as, the Title company to make this purchase process flawless. While Genelle and her team worked their magic, our processes a hour and half away included movers, packers, cleaners and good-byes. Genelle came though on time and under budget and we are incredibly grateful. We love our forever home. Thank you, Genelle Thomas and the wonderful team at Gwin Realty in Crossville, Tennessee.

Real estate is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions most people make, and I consider it a privilege to guide my clients through it with clarity, confidence, and a solid plan. Originally from Michigan, I spent my 30s in Middle TN, where I cut my teeth in real estate. I made the move west after spending years appreciating wide open spaces, changing seasons, and strong community values — all things that make Northern Nevada such a special place to call home. From Reno and Sparks to the surrounding high desert and mountain communities, I love helping clients find not just a house, but the lifestyle that fits them best. Professionally, I’m known for strong communication, realistic goal setting, and a deep love of the details. I genuinely enjoy contracts, data, and market strategy (yes, I’m a numbers nerd), and I use that analytical approach to help my clients make informed, confident decisions. When I’m not working, you’ll find me with a dairy-free fancy tea in hand (think Match Frapp, London Fog, or Chai Latte), exploring local spots, or sharing tacos with friends. If you’re thinking about buying or selling in Northern Nevada, I’d love to help you create a strategy that works for your goals and your life.
