It is a bit difficult to review as I would give a different rating for the food than the drinks/atmosphere/service. The food menu is basic, sandwiches, burgers, salads. I thought the food was fine, nothing exceptional. I would recommend coming here for a drink break while exploring the city. The drink menu was far more extensive. They offered a good variety from alcoholic to non, and plenty of coffee drinks. They also have ice cream and desserts as well. We had the homemade mint lemonade (I did need more ice, but our server accommodated this) and the iced coffee with ice cream and Baileys. The mint lemonade was wonderful and refreshing. The iced coffee was basically dessert. Eat elsewhere but stop for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Everything was well priced, quite inexpensive. The service was also excellent.

Really good wifi signal and surprised me a bit to see the menu was printed in English. However the menu consisted mainly of burgers and the like which didn't interest me, and so I ended up getting a delicious ice-cream coffee. Service was excellent and very friendly too. BTW, this cafe does seem to mainly cater for the tourist crowd, as when I was there, only heard english in various accents (British/ American) being spoken at all the tables.

After a few…read moreweeks of eating salads for breakfast at the hotels (standard breakfast foods in Central Europe tend to be very different from what one would normally associate with breakfast), we were craving a hearty, carb loaded breakfast. Cafe Central is so so so good. They have tons of bagel sandwiches listed on the board, as well as, pancakes, oatmeal, and much more. They also carry non-dairy milk too!! I always wanted to branch out and try a new bagel but I ended up ordering the same one every time- onion bagel with hummus, tomatoes, and pickles. Seems like an odd combo but it was DELICIOUS!! (I do believe it was vegan; however, I did not confirm that the bagel did not contain eggs or dairy) Despite the fact that it was a bagel, I never felt gross or bloated after eating. I would 10/10 recommend. Tips: they have wifi! If you look on the wall above the bench seating at the front windows there is a little note that states the password. The menu when you first walk in is in polish but have no fear! If you walk around to the left side of the counter and look up, the menu is in English.

I found an electric outlet and was working on my laptop for a couple of hours without disturbances until this other American guy showed up and started giving English lessons in a very loud voice without evening buying a coffee. Dude, buy a coffee and don't talk so loud.
